Amazing experience! From the staff to my spacious room everything was great. They provided amenities (toothbrush, razor, whatever you need- they most likely have available) even had the mini fridge stocked with cold refreshments. Helped coordinate an airport shuttle and was gracious enough to get me in my room a little earlier than expected. Perfect location in the middle of city where everything’s going on, great for walking around only took 5 minutes to get to the lake. Surprisingly enough, even in the heart of the city it was not noisy at all. 10/10 recommend. My only singular con which is probably user error anyway, I had the most confusing time figuring out how to work the ac but eventually managed.

We had an excellent experience at the Hanoi Morning Hotel. We arrived late but had no problem checking in after midnight. The hotel were extremely helpful in providing us with a transfer from the airport - and because the streets were closed near the hotel our driver walked us to our hotel. The next morning, Juli was extremely helpful booking for us all our trips, recommending the best things to do around North Vietnam. Juli was friendly and booked everything for us in a short amount of time - we were very happy with this as we had arrived to Hanoi with no plans made. We wanted to do the Ha Giang Loop and Halong Bay. Juli organised a full week of activities for us - we didn't have to think about anything! She organised our tour of the Ha Giang Loop - an amazing experience. A bus collected us from the hotel and everything was organised for us from there. When we arrived back to Hanoi 3 days later we stayed in the morning hotel and got a fabulous room upgrade. Juli organised for us a transfer to Ninh Binh where we had 2 excellent days. Juli also organised for us a trip to Halong with transfers from Ninh Binh to Halong and then back to Hanoi. She goes above and beyond, making sure to stay in regular contact through WhatsApp - finding for us the best things to do in all the different places. She even helped me locate my missing sunglasses! She has made our trip to Vietnam so enjoyable and so easy. I would recommend Juli and the morning hotel to anybody travelling to Hanoi and want to explore around North Vietnam.

It was a lovely hotel I ever stayed! We had the best room with window and balcony for 2 nights. Breakfast at the 10th floor was so great, you could see Hoan Kiem lake with a wonderful view. All peoples in Hanoi Morning Hotel were enthusiastic and helpful there. Thanks for organising for us. Mrs. Mei, Lily and Juli always gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants, food, tourists destination... Specially, they organised a maverlious Halong bay 2 days 1 night and Ninh Bình trip for us. We will come be back next times. Thanks for their organising!

Fantastic location at the north end of the lake, in the Old Quarter - overlooking the lake from the room on the higher floor, overlooking Hang Hanh Street from the balcony of the lower level (I booked 1 night lower floor and 3 upper floor) - 1 minute walk to the lake - walking distance to the main sights (French quarter, Imperial Thanh Long Citadel, Temple of Literature, Train Street) - overlooking the New Year fireworks & countdown (photo attached). I like the firm very firm mattress (very traditional Vietnamese firmness, Westerner may not be so used to.but so much more supportive & better for your back). Friendly staff. Juli was fantastic in all enquiries and helped us organising a day trip and an overnight trip to Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay respective. The breakfast staff were friendly. Fast laundry service for 40K/kg (I dropped off at 6:30pm and got them 08:30am next day) Breakfast included.

Breakfast quality average, it isn’t a deal breaker but there is room for improvement.

Hanoi Morning Hotel has wonderful staff! They offered great advice and were helpful every step of the way. The pho at the morning buffet was delicious! Props to the chef! The views from the rooftop overlooking the lake are breathtaking. I enjoyed drinking my Vietnamese coffee and eating pho every morning from the rooftop. Any questions I had, the staff was readily available 24/7. They even helped me book a tour to Ha Long Bay! I recommend this hotel for the location and the staff. The shower water pressure is excellent just be careful to slowly turn the water from cold first. They had Air Conditioning which worked great! This helped us sleep well at night. Since it is a historic building, do not expect any of the modern features that a modern hotel will have such as USB ports, international outlets, a “smart” tv, etc. Although, who travels to another country to stay in a hotel, right? Most of our time was spent outdoors exploring. For me, it was perfect because it was clean enough and the staff is incredibly friendly. We just needed a clean place to stay with a high pressure shower and a great location and that’s exactly what we got.

Location! Was perfect! Like 5/10 minute walk from everywhere you needed to be! The host Julie was incredible she was so so helpful for booking experiences and telling us the best food and massage places and overall being incredibly helpful with anything we needed. The whole place is a bit run down but you get that everywhere. Well worth the choice!

Nice location next to the lake and lot of restaurant around hotel. Room on the high floor have a great view of the lake. All hotel staffs are very nice, thank you ‘July’ for helping us while staying there. Thank for 2 ladies taken care of the Breakfast for all guest, eat Pho for breakfast and have amazing view of the lake from top floor of the hotel. Hotel staff can help arrange any tour for you just ask. Will come back again

The room has a nice balcony with view of the lake, and the location is very close to touristic area. In the morning there is a nice light and the buzz of the old quarter fills the room.

The bed sheets and bathroom sink were clean, but lamps, bedframe and furniture a bit dusty, with old sigarette butts on a plant vase outside.

Reception is open 24/7. Before we arrived, we already received whatsapp message from the staff about our check in time. We arrived in the night, the staff was very helpful with letting us know when our room is available so we can come in earlier. Its perfect location right in the centre, within 10 minutes walking you are at any touristic highlights. Good value for the price

The best thing about the property beyond the well priced rooms is the location! It is in the best lane possible and it is extremely convenient to go to for any shopping, sightseeing, meals, bars, etc. The location is unbeatable. The staff at the hotel is VERY helpful and they were very friendly and spoke great English. They helped us book our cruise at Halong Bay and made it a very easy journey for us.

The double beds in all rooms and two single beds joined together so its a little inconvenient. The AC heater in the room wasn't working but they did get a portable one for us to use.
