Great location, clean and spacious room, very kind and welcoming staff, especially Flora. They allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was excellent. However, an important detail that doesn’t depend on the staff is that the swimming pool is not inside the hotel: guests use the pool of another hotel located a 5-minute walk away. This means you don’t have the convenience of just going up to the rooftop from your room for a quick swim, even for 5 minutes, several times a day, or taking a dip before a shower when you return to the hotel. In short, I believe it should be clearly and visibly stated that the pool is not within the property. Personally, I had selected this hotel using the “pool” filter specifically, because rain was forecast and I have a foot problem, so I was looking forward to having a pool directly in the building. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing surprise to find out otherwise. Had I known this in advance, I would not have chosen the same hotel, as it’s simply not possible to enjoy the pool in the same way. Yes, they do offer transportation to the other hotel, and you can use the pool all day, etc., but the convenience of having it within the same structure as your room is incomparable. It’s unfortunate that this information was not communicated, and that Booking did not verify the filters more accurately.

The staff members were incredibly friendly & helpful, their English were very good. We stayed for 3 nights in total, in between, we went to Ha Long Bay for one night, they took good care of our luggage. When we're back to the airport, they helped us to book the car service, which make our journey very convenient. We booked double room but they offered us 3-bed room, which allowed us to enjoy more space.

We booked the breakfast, but we had to go to the "sister hotel" to have it (5-10 mins walking distance), or they might arrange auto bike to bring you there, this was a bit not convenient to us, anyway, the breakfast was still nice.

Our experience with Splendid Hotel was excellent. First of all, the personnel is outstanding, helpful and charming. We travelled with our 11-month-old baby, and they helped us with everything we could imagine and beyond. Starting with carrying our luggage, crib set up, through elastic hours of early check-in and late check-out without any pressure, with arranging laundry for us. The room was perfectly clean so the baby could crawl on the floor without stress. And I don't have to mention that the location is perfect - minutes form everything you want to see and experience in Hanoi. It was our 2nd stay in this hotel and we will be back for sure! Highly recommend it!

Everything was perfect. The only improvement I can imagine is adding a curtain on top of the window blinds to block the sunlight better at early morning. Our baby wakes up with the sunrise. But this is a detail.

The staff at the property were sooo friendly. Hanna our host was so lovely, as was the girl who was also working the evening we checked in. Unfortunately the pool was based in their sister hotel (not far away), but we didn’t go so can’t comment on it. The location is ideal, stones throw away from the Lake, 5 Minute walk to Beer Street, 10 Minute walk to train street.

The staff were super nice and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is perfect—just a 1-minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, which made exploring the area so easy. I booked the room with a lake view. I highly recommend choosing that option. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and hospitality!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, but what really made the experience stand out were the lovely ladies at reception. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble—they always greeted me with a smile and were more than happy to assist with recommendations, directions, or anything I needed during my stay. Their kindness and professionalism really made me feel at home. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but the front desk team truly made it special. A huge thank you to them for making my trip so enjoyable—I’d definitely come back!
