Hanoi... Where to begin... We had about 5 days in Hanoi but 2 of them were set aside for a Ha Long Bay Cruise. So Hanoi was fairly short and sweet. This hotel is located in the "old" part of Hanoi. If you are looking to be in the middle of brief glimpses of this city, this is a great location. Just a block and a half from Hoan Kiem Lake. An easy walk with a promenade encircling the entire lake. Ngoc Son Temple is in the lake and easily accessible. There are a million restaurants and trinkets and trash shops all around. The ENTIRE staff at the hotel were wonderful and warm. Helpful in every facet. English was pretty well understood. Breakfast buffet was large, hot and definitely something for everyone. Ate in the restaurant one evening. Very good. Rooftop bar was great. Extremely nice and cozy with views of the lake. We had a Terrace Suite. Large room, 1-1/2 bathrooms and a true terrace with a ton of space. Not state of the art hotel, but extremely clean, friendly and accommodating.

I'm not sure I have anything that was off. Some people prefer the newer, more modern hotels, but this fit the bill for what we wanted. Location is a catch-22. In the middle of old town, but a long ride in and a long ride out (But if you have never been to Hanoi, you will quickly learn EVERYTHING is a long ride... Eight+ million people can do that. :)

Hanoi Pearl was our first destination to stay in whilst in Hanoi. We were greeted by staff from our taxi where they carried our bags in, welcomed us with a drink, and checked us in. The room we had was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooftop bar was great for some afternoon cocktails and beers. All of the staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Nam, one of the staff members who worked on the rooftop bar was the absolute best to help navigate around the city and ask for local restaurant recommendations and sites to see. All the food and drink were very nice. We booked a trip to Ha Long Bay and Sapa through the reception, and both trips were incredible. Highly recommend.

Everything was great. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast yummy, and the location convenient. The staff: Clark, Rachel, and Harvey were all courtious and helpful. My only regret is I can't remember everyone's name because they were all so kind to me. I will 100% stay again if I am back in Hanoi, I felt like I got an excellent deal for the price

Wonderful staff and Great location! The Hanoi Pearl Hotel is in an excellent location in the old quarter, 02 minutes walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake. We had a comfortable stay at Hanoi Pearl Hotel. We booked for 06 nights and the room was spacious with a view, clean and provided us with the amenities we needed. The staff were amazing, accommodating and very helpful from the time we checked in. Cyan at the front desk welcomed us and briefed us polices politely. Also, Clark and Harvey always showed their willingness and were helpful. All the staff had a smile and took the time and effort to remember our likes and routines. One day, the room TV had an issue and the MT guys attended promptly to fix. There was a wide variety of food options for the breakfast buffet, which was lovely, and the staff in the restaurant were super attentive. The restaurant manager always ensures that we have food to meet our requirements, including making our coffee during breakfast. We had dinner a couple of nights in the same restaurant to experience Vietnamese cuisine, and all the dishes were excellent. Ms. Tha’s (hope the name is spelt correctly) service was excellent and spot on. She was very attentive and took care of us. The whole experience has made our trip to Vietnam one to remember. I would highly recommend this Hotel. Thank you

The hotel was centrally located and close to all tourist attractions with many restaurants in walking distance and a great little restaurant just diagonally opposite the restaurant and at the corner, the best Bhan Mi's. The room with balcony was fantastic, and on the top floor is the bar where we could order from and they brought everything to the room. They make the best cocktails ever!! The service from reception is outstanding. From the collection at the airport to booking our transfers to Sa Pa. The team even checked us in at the airport, as they knew we were arriving late from Sa Pa, just before we flew to Da Nang. Definitely highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hanoi Pearl Hotel. I usually find things that do not meet the description, but I truly liked this accomodation and wanted to share with everybody. A big plus is the location, right in the center, the Old Quarter, 3 minutes to reach the lake and close to the main attractions. For us, this was perfect, especially since it was our first time in Hanoi. Another plus is the friendly staff and a special mention goes to Dominic, who truly made our stay memorable. He took his time and shared wonderful stories about Vietnam, guided us through our entire stay and gave us great local recommendations. I felt that he really cared about making our trip special. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a nice place to relax after a day of exploring. The room was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel!

The staff were extraordinary! We arrived and were surprised to see our room decorated with a lovely letter and cake to celebrate our honeymoon. The breakfast was great with a hot station for eggs available & a great Bahn mi and Vietnamese coffee station outside on the patio. We really enjoyed having breakfast then sitting outside people watching with our Vietnamese iced coconut coffees. The room was great (No view but we knew this when we booked), large enough for both of us to move around comfortably & the bed was more comfortable than my one at home! The location was perfect, one street back from the Hoan Kiem lake, less than 2min walk, and on a street with plenty of coffee shops, Pizza and spas for massages & manicures etc, laundry service, The Note Cafe etc. The hotel also has a great sky bar with really good happy hour deals for beer, wine and cocktails.
