The staff was very accommodating and attentive to my inquiries prior to our arrival, as we had to book in advance before traveling from Sapa to Hanoi. I truly appreciated how Selina kept in touch. She asked when we would be arriving, checked if we were okay, and even provided updates about the weather conditions in Hanoi, especially with a typhoon approaching northern Vietnam at the time. The room itself was okay, and the hotel’s location is very convenient, situated in the Old Quarter area, just walking distance to many shops and attractions in Hanoi.

I didn’t like the bathroom. It seemed dirty and poorly maintained, with visible stains on the floor and bathtub. The toilet bowl was also uncomfortably close to the tub, making the space feel cramped.

We stayed at Mercury Central Hotel for just one night, as Hanoi was only a short stopover on our trip. For this reason, we were looking for a budget-friendly option, and this hotel turned out to be an excellent choice. The property offers great value for money, with a breakfast that was more than adequate for the price, including both savory and sweet options. The hotel also provides a variety of booking services, which proved extremely useful for our needs. We arranged an airport pick-up as well as a private car transfer to Sapa and from Sapa back to Hanoi airport. A special mention goes to Selina, who was an outstanding agent in organizing all these services for us. Her assistance made everything smooth and stress-free. Overall, Mercury Central Hotel is a convenient and reliable option, especially if you are passing through Hanoi for a short stay.

Chloe from Customer Care really is exceptional! From the moment I booked the room, to arrange limousine bus to pick me up from Cao Bang, to help me with communicating with bus driver, she was supportive all the way until we reached Hanoi. The next morning, before we even realised my son’s sling bag was left on the transfer bus last night, she helped to arrange for express delivery service to have the bag delivered to the hotel free of charge. We received it before we even stepped out of hotel to explore Hanoi. This lady really offers 5-star hotel services, very professional and efficient! The young man(Andy?) who is usually on duty at night, he was also always very helpful and share many useful information about Hanoi. Saved us time and trouble to search ourselves.

The entire staff was very friendly. Chloe has helped us with everything! She did a great job, gave us good food tips [my husband is vegetarian). She gave us recommandations for things to do and she organised the Halong Bay excursion with onward travel to Ninh Binh. Everything really professional organized and very kindly. During the travel towards Ninh Binh I recognized that I have forgotten my jacket eather at ship or at harper........so what to do? Calling Chloe and ask if she can help. YES SHE CAN! Tomorrow the jacket will be delivered to my hotel in Ninh Binh. Chloe does her job exeptionally well and is extremly helpful and friendly. Thank you very much Chloe.

-The staff, Chloe and the rest. Thumbs up for customer service. Chloe kept checking and communicating regarding our trip, from the time we booked the hotel and when we checked-in. She arranged also the cake for my mum-in law which surprised us all.😍 Helped us to book our trip to Halong Bay and our transpo to airport. -location- walkable to most of attractions -The rooms are huge and clean. And there is a small balcony to enjoy the street view. Beds are very comfy. - Breakfast- though it is moderate it is more than sufficient. Fruits. Over all we were happy with our stay.

Signage. We almost missed the hotel. But i guess its norm there to have smaller signage. Tub and shower together, a bit challenge for my 80 years old mum-in law to climb up but negligible.

Hotel is in excellent location All things are nearby and walking distance of 3 to 10 minutes . Lake , beer steet, night market , train street,pupet show Staff is very good specially i thanks to CHLOÉ, She do very warm welcome and so helping for anything we ask , i feel a someone own in another country, so nice humble polite and helping, Breakfast has Limited menu but all items are of good quality and very tasty, there serve very tasty breakfast, I stayed in 201 with balcony Very specious room and they provide bedding according to our family I recommend this hotel best and value for money. The rooms are spacious and as shown in the photos. Located centrally and within walking distance to the Hoan Kiem lake, train street and local attractions. Selina and her staff, Andy & Alice are very kind and helpful and go out of their way to fulfill your requirements. We had an issue with A/C cooling and Selina went all out to get it replaced and supported us with an alternate room till things got in place. Appreciate the whole team for this. Will always stay in this place whenever I visit Hanoi.

The property location is excellent and near the city centre.good staff. especially selina and andy.they make you feel like home.

Only thing I would like to tell about check in timings. travellers travel sapa or near one night journey places and return back to hanoi early mornings.though early check-in is not available,traveller have to wait in lobby till afternoon check in.Tired traveller have to spend time out side in spite of tiresome journey.so please check with early check-in options

I loved everything about the property! From the beautiful lovely staff at front desk, especially Chloe. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable and perfect as possible. With lots of local recommendations of things to do and restaurants to eat at. My room was incredibly spacious room and the comfortable bed was great. The bathtub was a nice little luxury. Location was excellent only a few minute walk from the lake. I had a beautiful balcony with a great view of the street. Probably my best day in Hanoi.
