I cannot express how grateful I am to the staff at this hotel for their extraordinary kindness and care during my stay. I fell seriously ill with food poisoning (from a previous location) and was in terrible shape, but the team here went above and beyond to look after me. The receptionist promptly called a doctor to my room, checked the bill to ensure everything was correct (helping with the language barrier), and even paid the doctor on my behalf since he didn’t accept cards. I was able to settle it conveniently at checkout. The staff also brought me special food from the restaurant, went to the pharmacy to buy medicine, and shopped for additional supplies to make sure I had everything I needed. One female receptionist, in particular, was so compassionate and comforting throughout the entire ordeal—I can’t thank her enough. Their level of care made a very difficult experience much more bearable. Amazing people, exceptional service—I am forever grateful to them. I highly recommend this hotel not only for its quality but for the incredible heart of its team. Thank you so much!

The location of the hotel is fantastic, and our room was very comfortable and cool. The breakfast area was very crowded but there is a rooftop area that was fantastic. The real star of staying here is the staff, who are uniformly warm and welcoming and helpful. The driver taking us to our next stop couldn’t find the hotel and the staff were just so helpful and friendly. As we left, they said that when we return to Hanoi we should stop by and see them and say hello. This was our fifth time in Hanoi and by far, the team at this hotel exceeded all our other experiences. I would stay there again just because of them.

The elevator is slow, but so what!

I liked the geniune friendship and kindness of everyone from the front desk (Hoa, Phuong, Jimmy, the "Boss" etc...), to the maids and the young men at the door. I also rented a motorbike for 4 days and it was a quality one. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Strongly recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights while we explored Hanoi, took a trip to Ninh Binh and did an overnight cruise at Lan Ha Bay. The hotel is perfectly situated by the old quarter for all your shopping and food needs. The hotel is very pleasant and well presented. The thing that makes this hotel so special though, is the staff. They cannot do enough for you. They're able to help with all your needs and always go above and beyond to support you. After we checked out from the hotel, we did an overnight trip to Lan Ha Bay and on our return to Hanoi, before catching our flight down to Da Nang, the hotel were able to store our bags for us and even arrange us a car to the airport at a great price. They topped up our water, let us use their facilities and waved us off as we got in the car to the airport. At this point, we were no longer guests of the hotel, but we felt like we were and it was the perfect example of how they always want to go above and beyond for you. We had a wonderful stay because the staff were so great, especially Sophie, who we would like to mention. If you're visiting Hanoi, stay here!

Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and spacious room with a nice bathroom. Great position near the lake and to walk in any direction around the old quarter. Lovely breakfast with an outside terrace.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Hanoi Dalvostro Valentino Hotel and Spa for two nights, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and exceptional service from the staff stood out. A special thank you to Jerry, the hotel manager, whose dedication and attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly. You can tell he truly cares about providing guests with an outstanding experience, and his leadership reflects in the entire team’s professionalism and friendliness. This was our first hotel in Vietnam, and it couldn’t have been a better start to our trip. It set the tone for an amazing journey, and we’re so happy we chose to stay here. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of the Old French Quarter. Everything is within easy reach, and the night market is just a one-minute walk away, making it perfect for evening strolls and local discoveries. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi – it’s a gem in the city!

Wow!! Highly recommended!!! Fantastic experience all around! Quiet, clean, modern, great breakfast and great location. Wonderful, very caring and thoughtful staff who go above and beyond for the guests. I had an awesome stay here and the staff really made it great. I will miss them! There was nothing I didn't like. I loved everything about it!

Jerry and his staff exceptional. 5 stayed and we are all definitely coming back to the hotel to stay again. They looked after us like family. Booked fabulous backstreet jeep tours. Got all the local knowledge of places to see and things to do. Don't book airport transfer or tours without speaking to Jerry on booking.com. He saved us from getting ripped off. Fantastic decent people. The staff made our Vietnam trip.try a cocktail in the bar, very delicious. Sad to leave the hotel and staff.

The stay was very comfortable and absolutely worth the money!. We booked connecting rooms and the rooms were very clean and sufficient, breakfast was delicious. I would like to specially thank all the staff members and the manager who took great care of us during our stay. They were lovable, warm, kind and helpful. They made sure we are comfortable with the stay and even helped us with our travel arrangements. We truly enjoyed our stay with the level of hospitality offered to us. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in old quarters. The perfect location with most of the tourist attractions within walking distance .
