Our stay at Hotel de Lagom was honestly a 10/10. I can't think of anything that could have been better. The room was clean, spacious and looked just like on the photos. The bed was especially comfortable and the room was quiet, so we were able to rest well. We also enjoyed the spa and hanging out at the rooftop lounge after being out the whole day. I also highly recommend their room service... they serve the best Banh Mi! The staff is so welcoming and makes you feel home right away. There was nothing significant to dislike about my stay. The experience was flawless.

Beautiful Hotel, close to the old quarter but not on a busy road. Modern new hotel with comfortable beds, stylish interiors and very helpful staff.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a big room with a balcony. The interior is so pretty and calming. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The staff is fabulous. Very friendly and very helpful with every little request. The staff here made our stay even more enjoyable. They even prepared a little welcome fruit platter for my mother as it was her birthday vacation. We used almost every facility the hotel offers. The breakfast buffet has such a good variety with on order menus. Some warm dishes change every day so it does not get boring even after a longer stay. We ate so much tasty fruit during our stay. The spa is comfortably on the first floor of the hotel and offers a good service. Some Michelin guide restaurants are very near from this hotel and even the famous train street is only a few minutes away. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room was not that quiet like few other reviews said. Every morning at around 7am there is a loud morning announcement that last around 30 minutes. No chance in sleeping in. It would have been nice to be informed of this from the hotel beforehand but apparently they only inform the rooms up to the third floor. Ours was on the fourth. Maybe when the door to the outside could be better at sound isolating. Our room was on the side of the busy street and even the motorbikes and honking can be heard very clearly. We used the pool every day and it does not feel like the cleanest pool we have been at. The water is quit salty and there is always foliage or bugs swimming in it.

It’s brand new and the location is especially convenient – you can walk to almost anywhere in the Old Quarter without even needing to use Grab. At the same time, it’s surprisingly quiet compared to other hotels in the area, since it’s located on a small street with just a few cafés and not much traffic. That’s definitely a huge plus. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful – without exception. A special thanks to July from Customer Service, who always made the extra effort to check in and ensure everything was perfect. As others have mentioned, the pool area could still use a bit of improvement, but since the hotel just recently opened, I’m sure that’s on their to-do list. The breakfast was okay, not bad at all, but also nothing particularly special. Personally, I prefer having breakfast outside when I’m in a city, so that wasn’t a big deal for me.

I recently stayed at Hotel De Lagom in Hanoi, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is newly opened, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The room was beautifully designed, clean, and well-maintained, making for a very relaxing stay. The front desk and lobby staff, especially Emma and Lyn, were incredibly courteous and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The rest of the team was just as wonderful, though I don’t remember all their names. The breakfast was excellent—fresh, delicious, and served with great attention to detail. The staff was attentive, friendly, and even remembered my usual order each morning, which was a thoughtful touch. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his sister, who were both lovely and genuinely interested in guest feedback to improve their service. Their passion for hospitality is evident, and I have no doubt this hotel will quickly become a favorite for many travelers. I’m already looking forward to my next stay—this time with my family! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi.

The Hotel is lovely and in a central location so it’s easy to get around. The rooms have good sound proofing so we slept well. The greatest part of our stay was the extremely accommodating and wonderful staff — everywhere they were so friendly and welcoming and always had recommendations for us. Christine really went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and our young kid was taken care of and included in activities. She arranged for our tour and also for our luggage to be sent to our next hotel. Really amazing service and I’m so grateful for Christine and the wonderful staff at the hotel!! The breakfast was solid! We highly recommend!

Great hotel - we truly enjoyed our stay there. Location was perfect - very close to all attractions yet hidden in the side street so it wasn't loud at all (we had windows facing the backyard). The bed was also very comfortable! The water pressure was perfect too. The staff were very helpful in advising on different matters - especially during typhoon time. Really nice support and vibe from them. We would definitely recommend the hotel and happily come back.

The bathroom was weirdly arranged in terms of logistics, the towel hangers are on the opposite wall from a bathroom so everything felt a bit segmented. It did not bother a lot but was just a matter of getting used. Breakfast was ok - we mostly had fruits and coffee and those were great, the rest was not spectacular.

I recently stayed at Hotel de Lagom Hanoi, and overall, it was a comfortable experience. The bed was very comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep. The cleanliness was impeccable—the room and common areas were spotless, which I really appreciated. As for the breakfast, it was acceptable but could be improved. There weren’t many choices, and the selection lacked local specialties and variety. Expanding the range of options would elevate the experience. That said, I have no major complaints. It’s a solid option for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay in Hanoi.

This hotel has it all. I would honestly say that Hotel de Lagom is one of the best hotels in Hanoi or Vietnam This is because: - the staff is super friendly and remember you - the rooms are spacious and new - the breakfast is 10/10 - the pool area and rooftop bar is smashing - the location cannot be better, only 2 min walk from old town or train street - the rooms are clean Didn't have the chance to try the restaurant or the spa, but from the looks of everything else, I'm sure it's a 10/10. The staff also ask you in the morning about your plans and help you with how to get around etc, without pushing to sell tours. They just give you their local tips! It's also one of few hotel that does not lie about pictures or rating in Hanoi. I will come back.
