I wanted to find a place where I could relax between my travels. It was perfect for that. The apartment was spacious. You have a tiny kitchen. You get a lot of light in the room. The location is good, you can walk everywhere. The owner responded to messages fast and helped with anything you needed. I liked my stay and would stay again in the future.

The apartment was very clean when I entered. But, room cleansing is not always the most effective one. Also, towels are not necessarily changed, soap is often empty, no toilet paper etc..

Spacious and quiet. They even have a washer and dryer so perfect to do laundry at the end of the trip

Well its my fault for not checking the map properly. Whilst in old quarter, its at the far edge and most places are 1km or more away so not a good walk in the hanoi heat.

FINALLY, a QUIET accommodation in Hanoi! I live in Bắc Ninh, 1 hr away from Hanoi and stay in Hanoi often. It's hard to find a quiet place, and if it's not quiet, there's mold on the walls, leakages, etc. Note that these are all hotels we booked on Booking.com, with 4.5+ star rated reviews. We were disappointed with them in end. But Zody House is different. The location is close to Train Street and Old Quarter. It's in a military area so it's very safe and spacious. And did I mention QUIET? Lol. Great bathroom, there's a bidet toilet and a bathtub so when you shower, it doesn't wet the whole bathroom. The manager, Binh, is also VERY nice, very helpful and friendly and we booked our tours and car ride through him (comfy, spacious car, cheaper than Grab). Overall, 10/10. Very happy.

Nothing actually! Maybe the lobby can look a bit more welcoming? Because the rooms are really nice. But that's typical Vietnamese places.

A fabulous stay. First of all I can't rate this place for 'value for money' in relation to other Vietnam/Hanoi accommodation as I only stayed here and everything depends, of course, on your budget. I can tell you that this is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed, certainly anywhere in Asia. The room was lovely, clean and easily accessible with a perfectly working lift. Binh, himself, was the perfect host: accommodating, friendly and helpful. The room was very secure and, as it is next to an army headquarters just at the edge of the Old Quarter, it was quiet and very, very safe. I rolled in around 03:00 most nights and never once worried about security. Excellent WiFi, a housekeeper who smiles constantly and a great bathroom/shower and mini kitchen with a large fridge. If it fits your budget then I would take it over any of the more 'traditional' hotels. (10/15 minute pleasant walk to Beer Street and about 4 or 5 to Train Street. Excellent location). Thanks for the stay, Binh. Hopefully not the last time we'll meet.

Our stay at Zody House was arguably one of the best elements of our time in Hanoi, with a quiet and comfortable place to stay and plenty of room to stretch out, cook, and make a home base for exploration of the city later. Binh was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure we understood what was accessible and good in the city with recommendations for transport and local groceries.

The one thing which I think is common in this region was tiny house ants. They are harmless but will invade any food left outside of packaging or the refrigerator.

Location was good. Everything that a tourist would want to visit was within walking distance. Never had to use a transit other than getting to and from the airport via booking.com. It’s got all the utensils and dishes you need. The washing machine (on the balcony) and dryer (on the roof) were very handy considering we travelled light. We each got a bottle of water per day so didn’t have to buy any. Binh was a very nice gentleman who would check in on us to make sure we were doing ok. The place is at the end of an alley. Very quiet. Next to a department of defence building with guards standing, so felt more safe. But then again I felt safe anywhere I went in Hanoi.

It would be good if they can label the bottles of soap vs shampoo. I didn’t know which was shampoo so I just used my own. Just a small thing I mentioned only if you’re looking for ways to improve.

I live in Hanoi and rent an apartment or hotel once or twice each month to experience a different part of the city. Zody House is easily one of my top three values. The location is great: it's a short walk to the infamous train street, restaurants, cafes and the Old Quarter. There's also a street market if you feel comfortable purchasing your fruits and vegetables there. The room is clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The owner met me for check-in and check-out and was very kind. I normally don't stay in the same place twice, but I want to stay here again (and to no surprise, the place is booked for next travel dates). I will definitely return.

The only thing I didn't like (and this is not the fault of the owner), but the apartment is adjacent to a large compound that is guarded by military members. They do not say anything to you, but it's just a bit intimidating to walk around with military members holding AK47's (and I'm a military veteran that's used to being around weapons). It should not dissuade anyone from staying at this apartment, but it's just something that I didn't care for.

Whenever I come to Hanoi, all I want is a quiet place to retreat to. I have been coming to Zody House since it opened about 5-6 years ago. The quality is consistent. The studio has everything you need: kitchenette nicely equipped, ample wardrobe space, very comfortable bed, great shower water pressure, bathtub, huge windows, small balcony, elevator. The place is immaculate and easy to get in and out of. No bad smell, no noises, no bugs, no bad surprises. The host is very responsive and will accommodate you inasmuch as he can. I highly recommend Zody house for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Hanoi at a very reasonable price. Strong 10/10

Fantastic location for accessing the Old Quarter and West Lake. Terrific local eating. Our host gave us recommendations and a map of the area which was really helpful and worked well for us. We checked in very late (delayed flight) and were greeted by the cleaner to provide easy access - a very kind gesture. The apartment was spacious and very clean, with a balcony with city views, plenty of storage and a well set up kitchen (which we didn't use as the local food is so good). Quiet area. Great for walking.

We enjoyed the privacy and space of this apartment, set back in a quiet part of town, a few minutes walk away from train street. The fact that it was also serviced was a nice addition, and the housekeeper was fantastic. The owner is very welcoming and is easy to contact on WhatsApp. If you have any questions, he is always happy to help. After a few months of travelling, it felt like real luxury, and to be able to cook again was really nice, and the washing machine was very useful! We will return here when we are next in Hanoi.
