We had a wonderful stay here – it was the perfect place to unwind. The location is peaceful, just outside the busy centre, but still very convenient with the free bikes provided (the city centre is about 2-2,5 km away, an easy ride). The owner was refreshingly direct, with a great sense of humor and a genuinely kind attitude. You immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The whole place has a calm and homely/jungle vibe that makes it easy to settle in. Breakfast was fabulous! We honestly would have loved to stay longer, but our travels had to continue. If you’re looking for a relaxed stay with a personal touch, this is the place. Highly recommended!

Small tip for improvement: The 360 TV box is a nice extra for streaming, but it might be helpful to set the interface to English by default and label each box with the room name. We accidentally connected to a neighbour’s device a few times. Also, Netflix wasn’t available, but YouTube and other providers worked perfectly.

This was, without a doubt, the best stay we’ve ever had. We originally planned to stay for one week but ended up extending to three because of Hai and her incredible team. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like part of the family—always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything, from laundry to private car rentals. The breakfast was a daily highlight, offering everything from the best pancakes to delicious local specialties. The location is perfect, right between the beach and the old town, making it easy to explore by the bicycles they provide. Beyond the great hospitality, this place is a peaceful oasis—ideal for both relaxation and productivity. As digital nomads, we worked from here without any issues, thanks to the fast and reliable Wi-Fi. We truly can’t express enough appreciation for the care and warmth we experienced. If you’re looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and well-located stay, this is the place. Highly, highly recommended!

The rooms are very really cool, private and spacious. The property itself is beautiful and tropical, the pool was a treat. Hai is hands down the best host, great sense of humour and helpful with local info and tours. With her husband, daughter and staff, they run a smooth operation. Breakfast was delicious, def recommend going for the local options!! Location directly between the beach and the old quarter, free bikes to use to go exploring. We were sad to leave (and wouldn’t have if we didn’t have flights booked) and will def be back xx

Hai and the staff were so lovely and friendly. They made and served a delicious breakfast by the pool every morning. The coffee was fantastic. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept on in all my travels throughout Vietnam. It felt like home away from home. There were bikes on the property to use. The property is just around the corner from the rice paddies, a 10/15 minute bike ride to Old Town and 15 minutes to the beach. Hai made my transfer to my next destination easy. Highly recommend.

Hai and the team were absolutely amazing and so accommodating the whole way through our stay. I felt so at home in a country that is so foreign to me. my first time in hoi an and will definitely not be my last. I will without a doubt be staying here again. The hospitality blew me away and Hai's knowledge of the area and willingness to help with anything we asked for was incredible. Location is amazing, breakfast was fantastic, everything was kept neat and tidy the whole time. 100/10 stay. could not recommend enough

Not a single complaint

The lady running the hotel was exceptionally kind and friendly. We felt so welcomed. Within a few days she knew our breakfast order (my fiance loved the pancakes), and she made our stay so lovely. The room felt luxurious and spacious. The shower was amazing and the bed was comfy. The gardens were beautiful. The coffee served at breakfast was incredible. The location is also great for nearby eateries and cafes. It's so easy to get a taxi into the old town.

The bikes need improving. The brakes and bells didn't work on all of them. Also, note that there's no gym or spa. Other than that, we loved East West Villa and would 100% recommend it.

The manager was amazing, I extended my stay and she allowed me to stay in the same room even though it was inconvenient for her and required attempting to move reservations around. She was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here just for the family vibes. The accommodation was very pretty as well and the breakfast very filling, they don’t nickel and dime you.

The property could have been a bit cleaner, especially in the bath tub and the bath I had would not stay filled always because the drain did not work properly. However, if you press hard on it and move it around usually it will hold. But this should be an easy fix in the future hopefully!

Great hotel, very quiet area with some good restaurants within walking distance (Red Dragon!). It is not in the center of Hoi an. The hotel has bicycles and both the center of Hoi An and the close-by beaches can easily be reached. I especially like the hidden beach, which can be reached by biking past rice fields and water buffaloes in 15 or 20 min. Nice swimming pool, good breakfast right at the pool, and friendly personnel

Nothing really, I didn’t like that I had to leave after some days

We stayed here recently for 10 nights and really loved everything. The location made it easy to go to to Old Town and An Bang really easily, as they also have free bicycles we could use during our stay. We were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade and ended up with a huge room and massive bathroom with a nice view and natural lighting. The pool is beautiful and quiet, making it a nice place to relax and chill at any time of day. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was included in our room price. When the staff found out we were vegetarian they offered to cook us a special vegetarian lunch - normally not a regular option - and spoiled us with all different types of tofu, marinated mock meat, eggplant, beans, tofu and peanut salad and rice. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and always have a smile on. Overall, I would definitely stay here again in Hoi An and recommend to people who want privacy, comfort and a pleasant atmosphere for a reasonable price.

Beautiful family .. such care and attention to everything. Lovely plentiful breakfast & delicious coffee. Big comfortable quiet room at the end of a stunning garden, big pool, complimentary bicycles … easy to pedal through the rice paddies to the beach . Thank you Hai for all your hard work we had a fabulous stay we hope to see you next time.
