Honestly, this stay exceeded our expectations! Katy on the front desk was so helpful and full of information from the minute we landed and of course through our stay the rest of the staff wer so lovely and helpful also. The room was gorgeous, clean the air conditioning was a dream. Pool area is also absolutely gorgeous with unreal views. 2k outside the ancient town and we enjoying the walk in and out most nights. So good we ended up staying a night extra to what we planned! Absolutely worth the visit if you are looking for a nice relaxed comfortable stay. Couldn't recommend it more!

Excellent overall. Lovely staff. Fantastic location - right on the river and away from the bustle of Hoi An. Great free shuttle bus to the Old Town and An Bang Beach. Superb breakfast and very good meal options all around. Nice pool. Elegant and unique architecture. Enjoy.

Nothing not liked! Junior Suite advertisement of Booking.com didn't show the outdoor shower - this was a highlight for us and we think a photo of it will help others understand what is included. As of 21 August 2025, Grab doesn't have data on the new bridge connecting to Cẩm Châu, Hội An, which means taxis booked using the app can go the long way round depending on where you're hading. Be wary as this can create longer trips during peak times. The distance from the centre can also mean some taxis and Grab cars decline to take you - so you might need to be patient :-)

Fantastic place. As soon as you arrive you are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and every member of staff is lovely, always smiling, and always making sure that you are enjoying your stay. The hotel is located a little bit outside the old town in Hoi An which is actually quite nice as you are away from the hustle and bustle and in a more relaxed and more local part of town that is very tranquil and all the local Vietnamese neighbours and lovely happy people. From the hotel, there is a bus that runs to town, and there are also free bicycles and mopeds to rent (200 dong a day), and the walk is about 30 mins along the river where there are some lovely restaurants and bars doing great food for a great price. A grab taxi takes about 5 mins to get to town and costs about €2. Rooms are lovely and clean, the breakfast is pretty good, and the pool/chilli area is nice and relaxing. Overall, we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more and ended up staying an extra 2 nights because we loved Hoi An so much and the hotel made everything so welcoming and nice

No criticisms, the only recommendations for minor improvements would be to have another shuttle bus run to town during the afternoon and maybe breakfast until 10:30 because it is such a nice and relaxing vibe that you want to spend another 30 mins to enjoy your coffee by the river

This hotel was the highlight of our stay in Hoi An. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We spent 11 days here and we both wish we could have stayed longer. The room was spotlessly clean and housekeeping came whenever we asked. The staff were universally friendly and helpful and I wish I could have thanked them all individually for making our trip so special. The pool is beautiful and the gym is basic but has everything you need. Also if you come, book the spa package, I left feeling like I was on a cloud. It is about a 20 minute walk to Hoi An which we were initially worried about, but Cam Nam island is a beautiful, peaceful district that we never felt unsafe walking around after dark. We will 100% be coming back, and I will be recommending Nghe Prana to everyone I know going to Hoi An.

The location was amazing. It was our second time there in only one month. We lived in Da Nang for 3 months and went there the first time in early August 2025 to discover Hoi An. We fell in love with the hotel and area, and it was natural for us to come back again to relax and enjoy. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The amenities are all there. The rooms are very well equipped and so spacious and clean. We even got special attention from the hotel with a romantic decoration for our second stay, which really made the difference. The breakfast was very good, with European and Asian options, and the restaurant menu is amazing, with a variety of options. We tested and loved it. The view from the hotel is simply exceptional, in front of the Thu Bon River. The views of the water are picturesque, and the farms over there are so peaceful. There was absolutely no noise at all during our two stays. It is very well located in the calm area of Cam Nam, among local people, but only 10 minutes, by motorbike, away from the busy center of Hoi An and lively Old Town, and 10 to 15 minutes to coconut boat activities, etc. You can rent a motorbike directly from the hotel, but you also have free bicycles available if you want to discover the region at a slower pace. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a well-located, peaceful, and relaxing stay.

Everything was so clean, the service was amazing, especially Katy, who was incredible! She gave us so many recommendations, greeted us by name every morning, recommended a pharmacy for me as I was sick, and followed up to see if I was feeling better the next day. She also helped us to book transport, and we left around 5am, so she made sure breakfast boxes were ready for us to eat even though breakfast didn’t open for hours. They also had some great eco friendly features throughout the property, and made us feel so welcome and comfortable throughout our stay, I cannot recommend it enough!

The peace & tranquility of this gorgeous hotel situated by the river, about a 35 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive into Hoi An old town was just what we needed after a busy start to our trip in Vietnam. They also have bikes that you can use, free of charge. We received a very warm welcome, by the lovely lady at reception, with welcome drinks & lots of information about local events & tours. We were shown to our very clean room which was just beautiful, & exactly as shown in the photos, with a large comfortable bed, a balcony with courtyard, pool & river views & a good size bathroom. Every morning, they served a delicious buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. They also have a nice menu for lunch & dinner. There's a lovely pool, garden & terrace which all add to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly & attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We loved every minute of our stay & will be back. Thank you!

I booked this hotel by price and looking at the hotel photos and facilities it has to offer. The hotel/villa type resort is about 2.5kms away from the main town of HoiAn, a pleasant tranquil spot hidden behind local village homes away from any main traffic noise and sitting right on the river bank. When I arrived and walked inside the reception area, you are immediately greeted and welcome into the hotel by the friendly, smiling and happy faces of Kelly or Katy, who handed you information on what the hotel has to offer and what to do around HoiAn, in my case it just for RnR, and walking into town late in the afternoon, about 20 to 25 minutes, for a stroll through the town's lantern lit streets and eating local food for dinner, later returning back to the hotel via their shuttle van or Grab a bike ride. The staff are friendly and helpful, Breakfast is served fresh fruit and juice, along with hot and cold dishes. The rooms are spacious with a deck overlooking the pool area and the river. If you want to come for a few quiet days away from kaos, then this little oasis is ideal to recharge oneself. Overall I am impressed with my stay here. Will i return, yes, Cheers

This hotel is very comfortable and quiet - but don't expect to walk to the historic part of Hoi An - it's over a mile away from the center of the activity. There are not many restaurants nearby either. We were a little taken aback when we first arrived to find out how far out it was. But we soon discovered how much we enjoyed coming back to this peaceful place after the business of the rest of Hoi An. Getting to and from the historic area by taxi (or hotel shuttle) was quite easy - and only $4 each way. The views from our room across the river were lovely (I recommend spending a little more for a view -not all rooms have views). If you want to be in the center of things, this hotel is not for you; if you want to stay somewhere peaceful and comfortable with easy access, this place works very well.

Really lovely boutique hotel in a quiet location 30 months walk from HoiAn old town. Plenty places to eat and drink nearby. Shuttle into town was v handy too. The bed was v big and comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious. Staff were very kind. Only weak point was the food. Breakfast buffet was limited but eggs cooked to order were great. The pool and Happy hour cocktails were lovely.

We had 2 evening meals. One was good but the second was awful- even though we ordered the same dish. The sun loungers are a bit old and worn and unstable.
