Su Retreat had the most accomodating and friendly staff of any property around Vietnam. The room was comfortable, and we loved using the free bikes to ride around Hoi An town. My partner and I celebrated her birthday whilst we were in Hoi An, and the staff helped us celebrate by decorating the room with rose petals, cake, and balloons! On our last day we had a very early flight out of Da Nang, and the staff not only provided us with a packaged breakfast to take to the airport, but they organised back up transport when our externally booked transport didn’t show up. Su Retreat staff made this trip so memorable and comfortable and we would definitely recommend others to stay here.

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed at Sứ Retreat for 4 days and 3 nights in early July. We had a wonderful experience that exceeded all our expectations. The staff were very friendly, always smiling and bowing to greet our family every time we met. The food at An Restaurant was delicious. Our family had two dinners and one lunch at the restaurant. Our eldest child loved the Salmon Spaghetti so much that she ordered it at every meal, joyfully exclaiming "So delicious!" each time. She also really enjoyed the Milk Shake and became fond of the kind bartender. My wife is a vegetarian, so she had just one suggestion: it would be great if the vegetarian menu could be more diverse :) The outdoor bathtub was a lot of fun. Our two children had a blast playing in it every time they bathed. The (complimentary) bicycles at Sứ Retreat were very convenient to use. There were rear seats for children and adjustable gears for pedaling. Whether it was early morning or late evening, whenever we asked to borrow bikes, the staff were always enthusiastic and helpful. The room was spacious, with a ceiling fan combined with air conditioning that kept the space pleasantly cool. The infinity pool had a refreshing riverfront view. I often sat by the pool in the early morning or late evening to enjoy the breeze. From Sứ Retreat, it was easy and convenient for our family to cycle to the Ancient Town or to An Bàng/Cửa Đại beach. The laundry service was professional and fast. We handed over our laundry at 8 PM and received it back by 9 AM the next morning. The Koi pond right in front of our room became a delightful spot where our kids enjoyed “taking care” of the fish three times a day. The staff at Sứ Retreat often greeted and addressed me by name. They genuinely paid attention and cared about their guests.

It was a tranquil retreat in a busy city with the most wonderful staff. A great place to relax and unwind but only 10 minutes by taxi to the hustle and bustle of Old Town Hoi An. From the moment I arrived, it felt like I was the only guest such was the attention and willingness of everyone at the resort. From Ruby the manager through to the kitchen and room attendants, everyone was friendly and wanting to assist. You really need to visit this place. Su Retreat is truly heaven on earth. I will start with the most amazing part - the staff. Ruby is a true gem stone, so precious and I have never met a person with such a beautiful soul - wow! She made our stay magical. Ruby and her super hero crew (Phuong, Xuan, Loc, Tam) took such good care of us during our stay, we are so greatful. They are the most professional team you will ever meet. The location of this hotel is beyond magical. Lots of nature, palm trees, greenery and next to the river with small boats, birds and water buffalos. It’s right between old town and the beach - and it’s easy to go to them both. The rooms are so beautiful and also the cleanest you will see in Vietnam. It has everything you could ever need: The most amazing bed (we slept like babies), refrigiator, indoor shower, toilet, great wifi connection, outdoor bathtub and outdoor shower. They also have great amenities in this hotel: An beautiful pool, nice bar, area outside for drinks surrounded by water, plants and fishes. The restaurant serve delicius dinner, lunch and great breakfast with both western and vietnamese menue. The staff Jupiter, Truc (Nancy), James and all the other were amazing. The hotel also has a spa area (Yên Spa), where I and my husband got the best massage we’ve ever had. Shoutout for beautiful Selena who truly have a magical touch. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and we wished we booked it for 2 weeks. From the very first minute everything was perfect. If you are like us and enjoy a good nights sleep, beautiful landscape (and interior) and extremely service-minded people this place is for you. We recommend borrowing the bicycles for free and take your own personal tour around the area. We saw the beach, coconut village and old town. Everything is close! The staff. Especially Ruby, Jupiter, Jack, Alice and Sun. The trainee? The staff went the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. They treated us like family. We had had personal service the entire time. Extremely friendly warm and welcoming. The staff totally organised us and booked wonderful trips, transport and outing, stress free. Breakfast perfect. Pool and happy hour amazing. The rooms, particularly the outdoor shower & bath were lovely.

The bottles of water caps could be opened.

Perfect location away from the city noise but in the same very easy to reach the old city and the beaches around. The staff was extremely friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. The team at the spa was incredible and you have to treat yourself with a spa package after a long day. The restaurant serving delicious local dishes and cocktails.

This is the most beautiful and peaceful hotel in Hoi An. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming with a lot attention to detail. The rooms are extremely clean and beautiful. We had the most beautiful tub outside 😍 we are so in love with this place and especially our 6 year old daughter. She loves the pool and fish feeding every morning. Thank you for this amazing stay we surely come back.
