Always welcoming, this is the second time I've visited this establishment. The first time was alone for the Lantern Festival in April, and then I came back with a friend in May. The room was spotless ! We even booked a tour through them, which we recommended to others the following day. I highly recommend them :)

Very good location close to the center. Clean and spacious rooms, good a/c, nice big shower/toilet with proper hot shower, generally quiet place, free water refill, nice hosts.
Blankets were a bit too warm for the season, but not a major issue. Be aware that host might sometimes sleep on the groundfloor next to the kitchen, not an issue just info.

Very helpful in every way. Advice, booking trips, good information all around and a very friendly lady of the house. We got invited for breakfast during the Têt holidays. Felt like part of the family

Very helpful and friendly people. Our room was very comfortable and everything was clean and worked. They organised tours, bicycles and transfers for us. Kind and good value.

The House 36 was a very pleasant stay. Thanh accommodated our every need and was always super friendly and happy to help with anything. The location was great - just a short walk into the old town and close to many restaurants and bars. The rooms were super comfy and the showers were great!

Genuinely the nicest people I have had the pleasure of dealing with in Vietnam. I had covid during my stay and was in quite a bad way but there was absolutely nothing more they could have done for me. Nothing I asked was ever too much. They looked after me with such thoughtfulness. It felt lucky to have stayed here in the circumstances.
