The staff here were incredibly kind and helpful. They provided us with information of all sorts of things to do around Hoi An and gave us pricing for everything. They provided bikes for travelling around and also offered motorbike rental for 150,000VND per day. They made us feel very welcome and definitely made our stay in Hoi An feel like the highlight of our time in Vietnam. The location was perfect - only being a few minutes walk from the old quarter and the main touristy areas of Hoi An, while also being away from the noisy parts of town during the evening. The bicycles provided allowed us to visit the pottery village, lantern making classes and tailors within a few minutes ride from Truc Loc Villa. We would certainly come back and recommend to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Hoi An.

Nana and her staff were so friendly, accommodating, and lovely. It was the perfect location for us as it was away from the main old quarter and less than 5 mins walk to it. The team at Truc Loc Villa even surprised my son with a birthday cake and some decorations on the bed. He loved it. We enjoyed the free bikes that were provided and rode through town as much as we could. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and chatting with the staff. The coffee shop downstairs was handy for a morning pick me up.

Typhoon Trami came through and gave the area a blackout but the villa had a backup generator, so it was great to have power when lots of other places didn't.

Hosts at this resort were the best during our tour. They were so helpful. They gave us great recommendations for tours and tailors. The pool was open whenever we wanted to swim!!! Cindy was always taking care of us. From packing waters and towels in a bag for us for our tour to arranging transportations and tailors. This bikes were amazing to have to get around Hoi An. The hotel was a close walk to the night market yet far enough away to be quite. I liked being on the river which made it easy to know where you are. The evening boat ride with the lanterns was quite cool. We did a tour making lanterns, cooking class and basket boat ride. Tour to Cham islands and private tour to Marble mountain. Plan another day in Hoi An you will need it!!

Such a great location just outside the hustle and bustle of the ancient town, bicycles are available for guests for free and Cindy was such a great host, providing us with the best tips about where to go and what to see. Quiet but so close to everything wonderful Hoi An has to offer.

If you are someone who does not like elevators this one is small and might be a bit daunting…It was fine for me but my husband wasn’t keen to ride it, so be prepared to take the stairs to get to your room!

This is a lovely small hotel in a quiet location. We had a room overlooking the river on the top floor. The room was clean and was made up each day with water also provided. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk from the old town and is perfect if you want to be away from any noise from bars in the evening. Nana and her family were fantastic hosts and arranged excursions for us as well as our onward travel to Da Nang. The use of the bikes was perfect for exploring the rice fields. An unforgettable stay.a

This villa totally exceeded my expectations. Incredible value for such a gorgeous place. I stayed in the king room with the balcony and had beautiful views to the river, lots of natural light and it’s slightly away from all the chaos of the main streets in the old town. I would 100% stay here again!

We were travelling with 4 kids so they would have preferred a larger pool. But for us adults it was perfect to cool down in.

- Nana (host) was great and very helpful. Gave us heaps of information and recommendations for food places, tailors, spas, and other things too. All recommendations we tried worked out really well. And Nana was very responsive to messages as well. - Had an issue with our initial room, and Nana sorted it out straight away and moved us to another room without any hassle - Hotel was a little way from all the busy nightlife, however that was quite good to be away from all the noise and it was only a 10 min walk. - The small pool was perfect to cool down from the hot weather

- the location of the pool is right next to the reception area and public coffee shop, which is part of the hotel so a bit weird walking in your swimming gear through the coffee shop to get to your room

Excellent, budget friendly accommodation right at the river's edge and within easy walking distance to so much. Our room was clean and comfortable with a smart TV, fridge, good sized bathroom and a balcony. The bed was also quite comfortable. There is an outdoor pool downstairs, along with an indoor/outdoor Cafe with super friendly and relaxed vibes. There are also bicycles for guests to use at no extra cost. Cindy and her husband run the villa, and they couldn't be more delightful, beaming with genuine care and generosity with their time and advice.

The staff. Nana on reception was both friendly and informative with lots of tips and advice about trips, places to eat etc.Everyday, she greeted us with a lovely smile and always asked if we needed anything. Cindy who is responsible for the hotel , making sure we had everything we needed for breakfast, was kindness itself. Everyday she went to market to buy us fresh fruit and cooked our eggs to perfection. The hotel is small and personal. The rooms are clean, modern, good toiletries in bathroom, hand & bath towels,4 english t.v. channels, quiet aircon.

Great location. Far enough away from the evening noise of the Old Town but close enough to walk to everything we wanted to visit. We had 7 nights in Hoi An and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The Truc Loc Villa is a perfect choice for all travellers whether for a couple of days to a week. They organised an airport pickup at a very reasonable price which was added to the room bill. Located near to a number of good breakfast cafes such as Ellie's and Thom Sourdough. Rooms are clean and spacious and Nana has a lot of useful suggestions for excursions should you wish. There is a coffee shop next to reception and a small splash pool and a couple of sunbeds out front. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and TV with ample channel choices. Highly recommend
