We extended our stay for two more nights in the King Suite and truly appreciated the warm hospitality extended to us. A special mention to Mr. Le Quang Linh, the Rooms Division Manager, for his thoughtful welcome message: ”………. Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can make it more special. Happy Anniversary!” The hotel went to some lengths to ensure we had a memorable birthday and anniversary celebration, which we deeply appreciate. However, it was disappointing that despite these efforts, they were unable to accommodate a late checkout—even for just 30 minutes. Having worked in the hospitality industry at a five-star hotel before retiring, I understand that granting a slightly late checkout, even when the hotel is “full,” is not always impossible. It ultimately comes down to a matter of flexibility and willingness. Unfortunately, the hotel fell at the last hurdle by adhering too rigidly to policy. That said, we remain grateful for the overall hospitality and thoughtfulness shown during our stay. A little more flexibility in such situations could have left an even more lasting positive impression. From my observation, the F&B, bellhop, housekeeping and maintenance staff performed the best. Front office lack just one quality to come up tops - empathy or EQ!

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in my entire life. It's just AMAZING. Very very beautiful, conveniently located in centre of Sapa, easily accessible. The swimming pool was very pretty (and warm). All the decorations were very cute and classy. It was the only hotel in Sapa where I did not feel cold at all (I stayed in 3 different hotels), thanks to the central heating, I guess. The staff were super nice and helpful, spoke good English, treated me like a princess (I am a solo traveller). If you have the money, stay at this hotel for your last day in Sapa (just stay in the hotel so you can get the most out of it after you're done exploring Sapa). It's totally worth the price, trust me. Greetings to the receptionist lady who wore the infinity-shaped necklace and the bell guy with cute dimples who helped me take my luggage and brought me more bottles of water. Love it!!

Well, the price of course 😆 but as someone from Europe who got paid in euro, I guess it's totally worth it. I paid 140 euro a night (no breakfast), thanks to genius programme of booking.com. Original price, according to the price list on the reception was 270 euro.

Quite simply a stunning hotel and a stunning experience. The hotel is immensely stylish with very comfortable rooms. It is like entering a different world and although I have stayed at many great hotels this stands out for its idiosyncratic charm and style. I would also vote it best breakfast buffet I have ever experienced. The indoor pool is an architectural masterpiece and great for working off some of the pounds gained at breakfast! The service was impeccable - we experienced warmth and support from everyone from the reception team to the people in the restaurant. A special thanks to the guest relations manager, Christine, who was ever on hand to ensure that we had the most fantastic stay and to help us make the most of three days in Sa Pa.

Everything at this property is awsome, the breakfast was amazing. And everything french food related suprisingly delicious!! And def have their hot chocolates. Room decors were so beautiful. There isn't much good food in sapa. We are ate the restaurant and room service most days and it was great. All facilities and staff are great :) would love to come back one day.

The kids club was a bit limited not much going on in there. And the heated pool was abit cold, had to ask staff to turn on the heater for the pool. (I understand they were probably saving power cause there wasn't much people in there)

This hotel’s purpose is to impress and we were absolutely impressed like we were never impressed with any hotel before. As soon as we set our feet in the lobby, our jaws dropped by the grandiosity of the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and makes you feel very important. The lavish French colonial decorations make you feel like you went back in time. From the rooftop, restaurant and swimming pool, everything in this hotel is intricately and carefully decorated. Even the restrooms are amazingly awesome. Instead of paper towel, they have individual rolled washcloth to wipe your hands after washing them. Totally fancy hotel. The whole staff is helpful and accommodating. The location is at the center of the town proper. Lots of restaurants nearby. This hotel is an experience of a lifetime itself. I’m so glad we stayed in this hotel.

Oh, I love this place! I wish it were in my city. It's not a hotel, it's more! It's like staying in the Louvre, if it was possible. Everything not only looks but is original, made to be for centuries, so in such an atmosphere you understand the excellence! At the same time, staff and service is very friendly and easy, you can go to the breakfast in the slippers and everybody will be ok with that! In the winter, it could be chilly not only outside, but also inside, so keep it in mind and be ready.

Hotel de la Coupole is absolutely one of the prettiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The design is simply stunning, and the attention to detail is on another level. Every corner of the hotel feels thoughtfully curated, making the overall experience feel luxurious and memorable. It’s also the perfect hotel to stay in during the rainy season, offering a cozy and comfortable retreat when the weather isn’t ideal.

While the hotel is gorgeous, it has a very European vibe, which might not be what you’re looking for if you want to fully experience the natural beauty of Sapa. If your goal is to take in the breathtaking views and immerse yourself in the local culture, this may not be the best option.

The indoor salt-water heated pool made us feel like we were in a scene from The Great Gatsby! The bedrooms were beautiful, the pillows fluffy down, the beds firm, the bathrooms generously sized, the decor truly a delight. The Spa experience was also the best. We so enjoyed our massages there! The location is literally a few steps away from the funicular and the cable cars to Mt. Fansipan, the one attraction in Sapa that was worth the effort, in my opinion.

That we only booked for 3 nights! That we had to leave! But truly highly recommending this hotel to friends and family.

The hotel is good with a special design

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and have never encountered such humiliating treatment as I encountered in this hotel. During check-out I was asked to wait until the room was checked to make sure nothing was missing and only then was I allowed to leave. This is a humiliation and outrageous treatment that has no place in a hotel like this, especially since the hotel holds my credit card with all possible security. I will never come to this hotel again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel that almost feels out of place and time. In certain unique spaces like the swimming pool with big statues and ethereal music or the bridge outside on the tenth floor under heavy fog, you get a sense of the awe-inspiring architecture and creativity that went into putting all that together. The room had the classical and modern elements required to cater for a comfortable experience. The breakfast buffet was rich and abundant that can appeal to all kinds of taste and preferences. Sauna and hot steam bath was great after a cold day walking around Sapa. Staff was friendly, especially the front desk who also arranged a transfer vehicle for us back to Hanoi. Special thanks to Tina who went above and beyond to help us resolve an issue we had with the driver and ensured we reached our destination without any further hassle.

Nothing about the hotel, only recommendation would be to pick their transportation partners more carefully and provide clear instructions to drivers in advance as to how they want their guests to be treated.
