Beautiful property , well maintained & polite/ helpful staff . They provide currency exchange services as well . The staff also help you navigate and arrange transport . The breakfast is nice and staff at the restaurants are very polite. The spa service is awesome but need to book in advance.

The check in procedure can be bit organised . In the morning we arrived early and we were asked to wait for a while without anyone attending to us .

There’s a bit of a feeling that everything is an extra cost.. whether it’s threatening to charge for ‘excess food waste’ at breakfast, or the high price of water, or the fact the sauna is £10 an hour, it does just feel like they’re squeezing money out of you a bit.

The hotel is beautiful with great facilities. The staff were excellent especially Steve. Steve’s attention to detail is really evident, it was nice that he took the time to chat to us and give us advice. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel, such great selection and all delicious!

When we visited the weather was quite bad so it would have been nice if the indoor pool was warmer, we were told it was heated but it was very cold when we were there. Also we were waiting quite some time for staff to appear at the desk for the pool. We went ahead and started to use the gym, another guest was in the gym with two small kids and was even breastfeeding in there while we were using the gym. It was very dangerous to have such small children in the gym and we couldn’t find any staff to tell them. When the staff did arrive they gave out to use for not using our shoes in the gym. We tried to tell her about the children in the gym but she couldn’t understand us. I think the level of English needs to be improved for some of the staff to help in situations like this.

We are a family of 4 with kids aged 6 and 8. Silk Path is a beautiful hotel in an extraordinary part of the world. We sadly had to change plans to only spend 2 days here - but managed to get to Fansipan, walk/trek to Cat Cat and go to Rong May glass bridge. All are worthwhile (as long as you aren’t scared of heights) - with Cat Cat the highlight. Wrt Silk Path, we arrived on the night train - but were able to grab breakfast and were lucky to have a room available for check-in thereafter. We had booked an exclusive room - but note - the expectation is you all sleep in one bed…so we changed to connecting rooms instead - less good view, but far more practical. The food and staff throughout the hotel were exceptional - with a special mention to Daniel, who co-ordinated everything for us during our stay. He is super responsive and helpful in person and on WhatsApp before/during the stay - as we’re all other members of the team. The swimming pool was out of action during our stay - which was a shame, but we got use of the spa instead - which was nice if not spectacular - and note it is separate men’s and women’s, which didn’t work ideally with our children. The kids club functioned a little strange, in that you had to stay to supervise your kids (alongside a member of staff), and it is largely designed for younger children, but we were too busy exploring the area to want to make much use of it. Whilst walking around Sapa is great / the walk from the hotel to Sapa isn’t anything special - and so the shuttle service is useful in that regard to save the energy for more meaningful walks. Overall - it has what you would expect of a 5-star hotel, with Daniel and some of the reception staff (who’s name I sadly missed) being particularly helpful in making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to be back, as there’s easily 4+ days to spend in the area.

Just beware the bed set up if travelling as a family. Also there are no kids options on the menu - but ours survived fine. The kids club is more of a “kids room” than “club” - or at least it was whilst we stayed.

This is the best stay in a resort i had in my entire life. Silk Path Grand Sapa is so perfect. The staff are great, especially the restaurant staff and the spa lady she was so good with her job i wish to deliver a special thanks to her The room is very good with a fantastic view of fansipan mountain Food is delicious and perfect I recommend this resort to anyone who can afford a five-star resort stay in sapa, you won't regret it Thanks everyone for the great vacation you gave me and I hope to return to Sapa one day.

Just a small note about the swimming pool I wish it was warmer. For me, I could handle the temperature because I am a professional swimmer, but I saw other people leave so fast because the pool wasn't warm enough

It’s a great hotel, well kitted out and catering to their audience perfectly. The value for money is really good and although this is probably reflected in the fact it’s quite far from Sapa (20 minute walk up a hill) I actually found the peace and quiet part of its charm. The restaurant is probably the best thing about the place, their Vietnamese food options kept me happy for 7 nights. A special mention to the Spa as well which had an excellent masseuse called Cherry, highly recommend her treatments. I went several times and she was perfect. The hotel was very helpful in organising cars to various places and getting me in touch with tours. They do a few special offers like afternoon tea that was quite average, the coffee shop in general was quite average. The rooms were spot on, nice balcony looking out at the mountain. The only complaint I had was the central air conditioning system. There is no way to change it room-by-room. If temperature is deemed too cold then the whole system can only be put on heat function. The building is well insulated and so this made for a few uncomfortable nights. I had to have the door open and this let bugs in. For a 5 star hotel, I’d expect air conditioning as a simple requirement.

I was surprised that upgraded room upon check in, as I booked for Balcony Mountain for 3 Night. I had to stay at Villa Bedroom for 3 Nights Instead. But the Bedroom of the villa is at basement using stair case which a little discomfort to access bedroom with stairs..but if you dont mind, its really enjoyable with their offer. The Bulgy ride, hotel check in, breakfast, staff and overall rating is superb thumbs-up to be stayed in Sapa. :)

Hotel breakfast is kind of constant cuisine and same meal, which I prefer to have slight change in fried noddle and fried rice to other types of main meal instead. Overall is superb good, better than my expectation instead. Staff are friendly and very helpful. good service, hospitality and welcoming.

Location, easy walk down into town or shuttle available. Grab costs minimal (usually less than a £1)...if needed one for return journey up the hill. Some great views from parts of the property. All facilities, room etc exceptionally clean and customer service from staff was attentive. . Pool area-good space to chill. Breakfast was exceptional.

We had no choice due to availability in 5 star accommodation but to book a bungalow and although the space was great for us as a family... my husband and I and our 16 yearold son- we were disappointed by the location of it in the resort considering the cost paid ( approx £300 per night) -no views of Sapa hills that standard rooms had and the back part of the bungalow was next to a road that had a karaoke bar on that you could hear at times from early evening onwards. We were not warned about this and it very much detracted from the 'retreat' feel we hoped for. Pool towels also did not have clean laundry smell and some were a little worn

We stayed two nights at the Silk Path Grand Sapa Resort & Spa and had a wonderful experience. The resort is beautifully designed, with a layout that feels spacious and serene, perfect for relaxation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. If you're looking for a place to unwind and spend quality time surrounded by comfort and tranquility, this resort is an excellent choice. We loved every moment and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sapa!

Absolutely Devine!!! Rooms are perfect with the splendid view of mountains, very comfortable bed and very good amenities. All the staffs were so friendly, supportive and beyond wonderful!. The great spa, the best gym with lots of space, aircon, 2 treadmills, a bike and other cardio machines as well as a smith machine, bench, and a few cable machines plus all the dumbbells. The indoor swimming pool is so nice and well maintained. Breakfast and dinner in restaurant is superb. Moreover, the free shuttle to and from city centre makes it easy to connect to funicular. Highly recommended for a relaxing and memorable stay in Sapa.
