The Flamingo Resort has a Frank Sinatra old hip 50’s vibe. Resort is well laid out with the focus the large swimming pool. Perfect for families with kids.

Not a bad thing but be aware the room floors are primarily terrazzo or polished concrete with large hip decorative rugs.

I love their pool and the style of the resort. The restaurant and bar is fun. The rooms are very quiet room to room, which is great, though you can hear everything in the hallways. I stayed in a classic room and it was very similar to the deluxe room I'd stayed in before except for the bathroom which was pretty beat up but clean and functional enough.

The weather was unfortunately not as nice as I'd hoped. Of course not the resort's fault. The towels ran out towards the early evening and weren't replenished. Pretty small stuff tho.

That they were dog friendly and the room definitely accommodated that being on the 1st floor. Great that they've restored the mid-century architecture classic. Great place to relax after a 5-day drive across the country.

$6 for a plain coffee at the coffee bar was ridiculous! Made it in my room after that... No fault of the property - Noisy guests talking loudly on their way to and from their rooms. Maybe signs to the ignorant guests that other people are possibly sleeping?? The sign on the door tag only said "relaxing". They need one that says "quiet please!".

The hotel is a little on the old side, but renovated. The room was clean and comfortable. Outside area is very nice, with a heated pool and spa. We enjoyed that. There was a live music event when we arrived, and a lot of people coming in and out, but that didn't interrupt the check in.

There was no continental breakfast included. The property has a restaurant and bar, but we didn't use it, as it's pretty expensive. The check-in took long time because we booked 30 minutes in advance and the hotel had some error connecting with booking.com The price showing on booking.com didn't show all the fees and the end number was around $100 more, but since it was late in the evening we didn't have many choices.

The pool area, the facade looked really nice, the beds were nice.

The ac in the room was hot even after hotel person adjusted the temp to cool down. The water pressure in the shower was weak, the corridor to the rooms are ugly and looked so dated with old looking carpeting. The windows should not let people from outside able to see through the rooms. We had to pull the shades down and could not look out the windows for fear of exposing us. The room carpeting is old.

It was quirky, retro and really cool. I think the area was well maintained and clean. The resort staff was great.

The restaurant on the property was terrible. You would think they had never served before. We had children with us so fast service is important. We waited one morning for 10 minutes just to be seated and it wasn’t busy. Lunch the next day was worse, but they were busy.

clean and modern hotel. great location. love that it has a restaurant within the hotel, was convenient when we arrived later in the evening, was able to grab a bit to eat or while lounging by the pool. having the amenities around was a great added bonus.

the water pressure in the bathroom was very low and one time it was scorching hot. the wall structure of the building is very thin. you could hear every foot step and door being closed. it can be very loud, especially in the early morning or late at night when you are trying to sleep. people need to be mindful of this, many times people would just slam doors. also wish the staff could have been more helpful with the orientation of the hotel. no one explained all the wonderful amenities that we could have used. we figured this out on our own near the end of our stay. would have been nice to get this information with proper check in. I know they were flustered upon checking in bc their computer system was down so it was stressful for them.

Cool mid-century hotel with modern updates - intelligent & helpful staff, comfortable & clean room, lovely pool & grounds, access to comprehensive health club (work out room, yoga, tennis, pickleball, lap pool), excellent poolside restaurant, wonderful "pour over" coffee in the room. Great place for a summer get-away. Relaxing poolside in the late afternoon - with one of the bar's fantastic classic mai tai's had a total "island vibe" - like being at a resort in the Caribbean or Hawaii. We will definitely return!

Unfortunately, the pool area was closed for routine maintenance on our one full free day, but that was okay in the end because we explored the Russian River area instead. The TV in room wasn't working but we were too tired & not in our room very much to bother having a staff member look at it (Note - this service was offered to us!).

Property was immaculate great style nostalgic feels for sure. Loved the fact that they had really hot water, that was a plus. My favorite part was the bed was comfortable and pillows were awesome. Best sleep ever. Rooms itself could use some updating as far as paint and replacing some fixtures and tiles. Otherwise our stay was great.
