Due to delays with our airline, we missed our connecting flight in Phoenix to Cabo. No flights were available until the next morning, so we were stranded in Phoenix. After discovering we wouldn't be beachside with margaritas that day, we booked a night with The Westin Tempe. We've stayed at Westins all over North America and this location was on brand and delivered a wonderful experience. First, we arrived earlier than check-in time. They had one room available, which was an upgrade from what we booked, and allowed us to check-in early, rather than check our bags at the front desk, which we appreciated greatly. The room was beautiful and we had a fantastic view from the 15th floor. Secondly, one of my favorite things about Westins is their gyms, and this one offered the usual cadre of equipment. Next, the location was perfect. Because we took an Uber from the airport, we didn't have a vehicle to get around, but one wasn't necessary. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, along with an AMC movie theater across the street. Also, with a restaurant onsite, you don't need to leave the hotel to dine. We ate breakfast there, and it was delicious! Lastly, all the staff were attentive, helpful, and professional. Would definitely stay here again!

The sliding glass door to the bathroom didn't lock, but it was frosted to offer a degree of privacy, and was the only aspect of the room that wasn't perfect, IMO. Also, the temperature in the gym was a little on the warm side and slightly muggy, but certainly not insufferable.

The room and building were well-maintained and clean. The room itself was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful!

One downside was the TV setup. I attempted to connect my gaming console via HDMI, but it either wasn’t functioning or there was an issue I couldn’t identify. The Bluetooth settings didn’t work well either, as the connection kept cutting in and out. I also tried screen casting from my phone, but that wasn’t successful. While apps like Netflix and YouTube worked fine, I was disappointed that I couldn’t use my gaming console.

Unfortunately this time there a lot of noise at night due to people going in and out of their rooms accords from ours. The doors make a loud noise each time they close.

Located very centrally in Tempe, right next to some ASU buildings. Right next to it is the party mile, but I couldn't hear anything from my room. The room itself was nicely appointed. I got quite a few vouchers when checking in - the food credits nicely covered breakfast.

The roof top pool and bar was amazing also the ceiling to floor window that wrapped the room with the most amazing views to say the least. Upon check in we were comped a free room upgrade, free flight of tequila, free coffee from coffee shop and a $25 dining credit.

There was nothing I didn't like. Parking is $40/day or meter parking available. Free meters/parking on Sundays starting at 12am.

The only thing I wish was that they didn’t close the roof top pool / bar they closed it around 8ish and when I checked online it said it closed midnight . That was the main reason we booked our stay and unfortunately we didn’t really get to enjoy it

Breakfast buffet was deliicous and a great value. Lots of choices to meet anyone's desire.

It was very crowded upon check in. With having family week and a game at ASU I guess it was expected. Staff handled the chaos really well.

I love this place. Everything about it was great. Jonas and Liz made my stay perfect. They were extremely helpful and so sweet.

Rooftop bar drinks and food was NOT good and the staff there were unprofessional
