Room and Location

All was perfect

Room was spacious, bed, bedsheets high quality, well designed. Location is great, you are on Magnificent Mile at the river! Opt for a river view room even it is more expensive. No breakfast. They give you vouchers for $20 for the first floor restaurant.

Water in the room is paid. Bar on top is a loud place only for young people. Lobby is on the 2d floor. Lobby bar is not inviting.

It was fantastic. Every staff member were friendly, courteous, helpful, and professional. I wish they had a “happy hour” menu and drink special in the Lobby Bar. The Land and Lakes Restaurant, which I understand, is not really part of the LondonHouse responsibly. It was subpar in food and service.

loved the size of the room very beautiful with great views, however, would like a room where the bathroom door is not next to the bed, does not provide enough privacy in the bathroom, not very romantic that way, the room was a excellent size. The cleaners did a poor job of cleaning, we did not have our room cleaned the first day to save the staff and we did our best, on the third day we had it cleaned, room did not look as fresh as it could or spell fresh, found areas had not been cleaned off and not vacuumed carpet.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, impressive inside and out (location-wise) stylish, modern, known for its famous rooftop bar etc. We also had an incredible view from our 10th floor room (front-facing the Michigan Avenue bridge) so the night skyline was just fabulous, very instagramable (the hotel is in general anyway) but I'll always remember the incredible view from my room window.

Room was quite small (but view made up for this). Definitely didn't enjoy the food in Bar 21, not a good experience, but appreciate the issue was dealt with satisfactorily. The elevators were annoying, touch pad screens, running around trying to get into the correct elevator for chosen floors, although this gave guests the opportunity for some humourous camaraderie! Lastly, I thought that Bridges bar, room service ($5 for a can of sprite) and $3 per small bottles of water in room was a tad overly expensive.

Wonderful location on the Chicago River at Wacker at Michigan Ave. Easy walk to many local attractions, restaurants, and food. The staff was excellent and provided complimentary upgrade to room with a city view.

The hotel is amazing super clean rooms . And the location is perfect. There are a lot of places within walking distance if you like to walk between 20 to 30 minutes..But also there are other 5 to 15 minutes. The staff is incredibly kind and if you have extra tours before going back home. They hold your bags at the hotel for free and I find that very convenient. The rooftop view is amazing so you can't miss it. I would definitely recomend.

I wish it wasn't that expensive. But I understand the hotel is very famous as well as very convenient with its location.

The aesthetics were lovely, the Christmas decorations were gorgeous. The layout of our room was weird but it was still spacious. I enjoyed being able to slightly open the window in the room, usually hotels get stuffy. Location was great, we were able to leave the room and go for a short walk, lots around. The 2 restaurants attached to the hotel are excellent.

Staff were hit or miss, some were very friendly, some made you feel like an inconvenience. They did not upgrade us for free, they asked if we wanted to pay. Whilst this is not expected, we were upgraded for free in every other hotel we stayed at during our vacation, hence why it framed a disappointment to me. They wanted to service our rooms every morning at 9am when we hadn’t even left the room, and if we asked them to come back, they would not come back. We had to ask at the end of each day 3 times for someone to come back and service the room. This happened a few times.

This Hotel is by far one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed at. Great views, exceptional staff, hospitality very good and location to everything was awesome. Can't think of not one thing we didn't like, this hotel definitely met our expectations and will not have anything bad to say. If you're ever in Chicago, you really want the London House

LH is located in a beautiful, historic building within walking distance of the Art Institute, Mag Mile and other attractions. We had a great view of the river and city from our room. The hotel is newly renovated with attention paid to every detail. The room and all of the public areas are nicely decorated and spotless. We enjoyed the great view from the roof top bar.

Can't think of anything that could be improved. It was a wonderful experience all round.
