We were greeted by a friendly, capable young man at the front desk. We stayed at this place, because we were having car trouble & it really helped to see his smiling face when we got there. If I could rate his performance, I'd give him a 10. The room was clean, comfortable, & homey. Everything worked great & we appreciated the bedside clock & outlets in the lamps above the nightstands. Breakfast had the usual options of cereals, pastries, yogurt, apples & bananas, milk, juices, and a waffle-maker. They also had little breakfast burritos for the microwave. The breakfast area was kept clean while we were there. I'd recommend staying here.

I had my granddaughter with me for three nights and each morning she got to make her own waffles in the waffle-maker and she had the time of her life doing so. The staff was very courteous and accommodating when we needed change for the soda machine and extra towels, trash bags, and even a plunger, they gave them to us with a friendly attitude. I would recommend this hotel at this location to anyone. Nice room, friendly staff, centrally located and all around great experience.

The bathroom in our room was a little small. We had to struggle a little bit to take showers and use the facilities.

The location was perfect for our visit to the Dunes State Park. It was also close to several fast food restaurants (McDonald’s, Wendy’s) coffee shops (Dunkin’ and Starbucks) as well as a grocery store (Jewel Osco) and a Walgreens. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant to work with. The beds were very comfortable! The breakfast was not bad, but it would have been nice to have additional protein options.

The room was fine, but the bathroom was small.

Quiet, clean and comfortable!! The bed was so comfortable!!! The breakfast was fresh with plenty of choices and pleasant staff refilling coffee and food as needed. The location was perfect for the state and national parks, plus it was close to restaurants.

We were fine with using the stairs (nice wide stairway) but not having an elevator could pose a problem for some.

Good location for what we wanted to do. Some staff very friendly.

We happened to be there on a really hot day. Kept the window unit on to help keep it cool, and minimize the sound from outside our room. We were right over the breakfast bar & were awakened each AM to the sound of the waffle machine beeping and people.

July '24 The Quality Inn in Chesterton had a great location was quiet, secure, clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The TV and internet worked well and I was very pleased

The breakfast was bare minimum coffee, cereal, some breads, and the coffee was terrible.

Near national park and clean staff very good

Did not automatically clean every other day— had to call. They did not restock the breakfast area as things ran out. Had to get up really early to get a good breakfast.

Location to the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center was great! Also close to a hospital, just in case. Staff were super friendly, room clean, beds very comfortable, breakfast had options other than cereal.

These rooms are not well insulated, you can hear everything. We could hear people above and to the sides of us as well as noises outside.

The breakfast was excellent. I liked the waffle machine, cranberry juice, bagels, burritos, cream cheese and bananas and coffee. Hood that it opens early at 6 a.m.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.
