Well, having read the reviews, we were very worried about how this hotel would be. Happily, it was just fine for us. Nice staff, a totally adequate room, hotel looks well maintained, decent dining room. The shuttle worked fine.

I wrote to the hotel numerous times before our stay to ask how to get the shuttle from the airport, since there were no directions on their website. No one answered me, and I got my answers by going to hotel reviews. Hilton, answer your inquiries!

there was no possible to contact hotel staff prior our visit via numerous emails. Despite being very close to airport, the taxi from airport to hotel costs around 20 EUR. Shuttle at night is very rare.

What can I tell you? I arrived in the evening and left at 5am. The few people I had any contact with were nice and professional. The take-away breakfast was much appreciated.

It was clean, central to the airport which was important to us and ideal with the shuttle taking us to the hotel. In typical Hilton standards, the bed was very comfortable and the towels were great.

Expensive but I feel they can charge that for the convenience.

Conveniently located near the airport. Quiet and clean with shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes or so.

The instructions for getting the shuttle from the airport are a bit misleading, you need to take the regular airport shuttle (orange/white bus) that stops at several places near the airport. Also worth noting is that between 01:00 - 06:00 the shuttles come only every 40 minutes, so plan accordingly.

The staff member that checked me in helped me with an issue with my reservation change. Even though I had email confirmation about my date change, it was not in the system but she still was able to give me the room at the same rate that I was promised. She was so helped and understanding (Booking.com or Hilton error). Not sure who to blame but she saw I was not happy and still made me feel at ease with getting me a room right away. The room was exceptionally clean, one of the cleanest rooms I have EVER stayed at in my 60years and that says a lot about your housekeeping staff. Just wish the beds weren't so low to the ground ( if you could consider raising the height of the beds). Makes it hard for older people and people with major back issues. But the location next to the airport was perfect 👌🏽. I have already recommended your this location to a few friends traveling soon there. They know they will have to take a ride into the city but being next to the airport is also a huge plus. Thank you Hilton Garden!

Bed to low to the ground. If you could consider raising the bed height, to help older people and people with major back pain issues.

Obviously a good location, with frequent free shuttle to terminals. Hilton standard of excellence, staff very friendly (and English-speaking). Room clean and well-appointed. Restaurant/bar is decent and 24-hour snack/beverage area is a plus. Minor complaints: there were some repairs being done on our floor, and there was a very strong toxic odor in the hallway in the morning; should have been properly ventilated. Shuttle driver didn’t announce any stops, and the screen in the bus is inaccurate- we had to rely on people in the know to get off at the right place for our terminal.

Property was clean room was clean plenty of space in the room. The shower was excellent nothing but good things to say about the accommodations.

nothing negative about the property itself. But the tram to the airport I think could’ve been a little bit more informative. For example, the bus driver could have said next stop terminal three or next stop terminal one these kinds of things just to make it a little bit more clear. But I am grateful that we had a tram in the first place.

The hotel is very clean. The staff is great, from the receptionists, to the chefs, and the cleaning people. Their pizzas and other items are fantastic, I recommend the one with prosciutto and arugula on top! Beds are comfortable. Nothing was missing, really! The only thing I wished were that the neighbors cannot be heard. They can be very loud, slamming luggage, chatting on the corridors, jumping or walking in high heels. Ceilings are not sound proof. The hotel reviews suffered due to noise. They would get higher rates if occupants would be less noisy. I even had a neighbor who spoke for hours on the phone in Italian, and I understood all the Ins and outs of their business. This should not be allowed.

If you are choosing between Hilton Airport (walking distance) and Hilton Garden Inn (designated shuttle service), don’t hesitate to save some money and pick the latter. Shuttle service works as a clock and you might get to your room even earlier than expected.

Reception staff were very uncompromising on check in (when asked for double bed rather than twin - even though it showed 2 available rooms on Booking.com). 2) During our short stay (when I had a cut and my toe was bleeding and because I was literally unable to put on my shoes to go find the bandage - after 7th attempt to reach the Reception by dialing #9 - I got a pissed off reaction that “I MUST come down to the Reception personally to pick it up”. At the check out receptionist also looked very busy and fed up… Hope all the mentioned staff get a raise to actually enjoy their work and spread positive vibes instead. Our bidet was leaking, shower glass didn’t stop the water from going to the floor, the room lacked vanity kits and sleepers. I guess Hilton is seriously cutting costs…
