On the way to Hotel from Airport by taxi. I was overcharged more than double ridiculously and even lost wallet. I didn’t catch the taxi and disgusting driver’s number. A staff at front desk tried to find taxi by all means. I could find wallet due to her. Although all the money in the wallet had disappeared I could take back my wallet lucky. I really appreciate her sincere assistance. I am sorry for not recognizing her name. This hotel is perfect and superb with helpful staffs!

Great rooms and location, right across the Shanghai tower, jinmao tower and IFC, about 5-6 malls around the hotel and very easy to access. There is an overhead bridge walk till the superbrand mall, MAP museum and the bund area which takes about 15 minutes. The jacuzzi is good, staff was polite and good, we had the free afternoon tea included from 2:30-4:30 which was great as well especially because the quality of food was really good and at par for a real 5 star! Breakfast was really good with a lot of choices and made quite well. We had the view of the TV tower from our window and the 3 tall buildings which was great. The mattress and pillows were amazing, so we had really good sleep and we had everything provided to us from toothbrush to bath salts. I would argue that this hotel has the best slippers we've had thus far, minor but useful plus point. Leo helped us with our bags, arranging taxis and was overall very nice to us!

Nothing honestly but few points to mention: 1. No slippers allowed in breakfast or afternoon tea so we had to go up and change, which is understandable and fair. 2. The bathroom lock and auto blinds on the window malfunctioned but was a quick fix, so again not an issue. 3. Movie selection on the TV was limited and we couldn't get the HDMI to work, but we didn't really miss that either.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this hotel; both times to celebrate the anniversary with my girlfriend. I informed the staff about the occasion after the booking so that we could have a little decoration in the room. I booked a room with view on the Pearl Tower, but we received a free upgrade to a suite with an amazing view on the the Pearl Tower and the river, and we were offered an additional bottle of wine and some cake! The staff was amazing; and the pool with the view on Lujiazui alone is worth the price. Excellent and rich breakfast. Honestly, could not ask for more! I wish to thank once again the staff for helping making this (again) an unforgettable night! Simply perfect

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Regent Pudong—far exceeding our expectations. We had access to the Club, where Afternoon Tea and Happy Hour were served daily, and it was well worth it: the food was excellent, and the views were stunning. The pool on the 41st floor was simply breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the city lights at night. The location was also ideal, just a five-minute walk from Line 2 and right in the heart of the Pudong area.

The swimming pool located on 41st floor with a fantastic view over the city. Location. Not busy like the Bund but at walking distance to main attractions. The docor of hotel and rooms. Nice touch was a complimentary bottle of wine and plater of sweets/ chocolates

Room was a bit tired. Some furniture had scratches and stool in the bathroom was falling apart. There were visible marks on the sealing in the bathroom after some leak from floor above.

Robin at the reception was so excellent, so helpful! He helped us patiently download the relevant Apps for taxis, etc. Thanks, Robin!!! All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great Western breakfast as well. Location is in the centre of Pudong near all the wonderful attractions.

The toilet in the room was leaking. We reported it, but the problem was not resolved. Otherwise exceptional service

This hotel will make you live an unforgettable guest experience ! Rooms are very spacious with wonderful views and impressive amenities/equipments. I think I can summarize the incredible experience with these included services : - First full round of minibar (with a bottle of wine) is included - Daily laundry service for three clothes is included Swimming pool is impressive with very nice city views ! Last but not least : buffet breakfast is awesome ! The value for money is just....unbelievable !

Spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed. Amazing buffet breakfast. Restaurant staff and bell men provide a very high level of service.

Room was very cold, even after turning a/c off. Limited onsite restaurant options. Most of the reception staff were excellent. Some could improve their English. Unfortunately one reception staff was quite rude when my colleague enquired about extending the check out time. The gentleman originally served her was fine but this lady interrupted and was very rude.

The overall service of the hotel was very good. Did not have any unpleasant experience. Staff were very professional in their capacity and were helpful. The Executive Lounge was good and had a Awesome View. (Closed a bit too early 9pm) The complimentary Mini Bar was a nice touch though I had only 1 coke during my stay there. Did use the complimentary Dry Cleaning services for my suits (1 set a day). The indoor heated pool had lovely view next to the Gym on the 41st Floor.

Did not have anything I did not like. Had a great stay.
