The historic atmosphere and excellent service by the staff. Every details in the hotel including the room, hall and sitting area was perfectly designed and maintained at its best. The afternoon tea was exceptional.

There were too many wild monkeys at the yard and even mear the walkway, which we found too threatened. I suggest to avoid them to enter the premises of the hotel more strictly, otherwise the guests would feel uncomfortable and insecure.

Excellent food and excellent location and exceptionally pleasant, attractive and professional staff.

Upon checking in the room had spider and spider web in shower. Shower drain was extremely slow. Ant colony with crawling ants along the base of the bed(along the wall). Housekeeping responded quickly and thoroughly once the issues were brought to their attention.

An early 1900's built classic colonial Edwardian hotel. Graceful and most spacious with fabulous views of the railway bridge gorge. The rooms have been well modernised thankfully, and are nicely appointed and a good size as expected for a hotel of this era. Breakfast area is lovely.

Some poor service on the terrace was disappointing. The bar area could be so much better. The current furniture layout has no imagination.

This is the premier hotel in possibly all of Southern Africa. I brought my family of 3 (w/ 6yo girl) and enjoyed all aspects of Victoria Falls. We did everything from a helicopter tour to a dinner cruise, cheetah walk to a waterfall walk in the park. They offered us exclusive VIP lounge access to one of their state-of-the-art rooms with 24hr complementary drinks and snacks. Activites were easily arranged, and between everything that can be done, we made tons of friends! We WILL return here! Amazing and worth every penny. Thank you to all the staff from Christian to Kingsley, Deliverance to Eustinah, and everyone who made our stay a memory that our daughter will have to savour for a lifetime. The interior and grounds are beautiful with great view of the Victoria Falls bridge and mist from falls. It is impeccable inside and out. Plenty of staff, all pleasant and helpful. Food was outstanding, housekeeping excellent.

The gate to the shortcut to the Falls is locked. Very disappointing

Stunning 5 star accommodation and its location close to Victoria Falls. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and nothing was a problem. High tea and dinner in the Livingston restaurant was a highlight. Special mention to Simba and Chalton our waiters who treated us with much kindness. Excellent check in process with Tracey and thank you so much management for the upgrade to a delux suite. Stayed four nights and will definitely come back again.

Nothing - old worldly charm

Location was excellent with a short stroll into town and to the falls themselves. Beautiful colonial style historic hotel. Beautifully maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful and well trained. Food was excellent. Location was excellent with great view to the historic bridge and the spray of the falls.

The fitness facility was unbecoming of a 5 star hotel. A converted bedroom with bath still in situ and minimal, clapped out old equipment.

The location is excellent, the staff is A1 and the facilities are exceptional 👏. This was our second stay at the fabulous Victoria Falls Hotel, Zimbabwe and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The hotel upgraded our room at no cost as repeat guests and on top of that, we had a complimentary bottle of wine accompanied by complimentary massage... What other pampering could one ask for?

Everything was amazing except the room price. Strangely the restaurant and drinks were amongst the cheapest in Victoria Falls. Having lunch overlooking the bridge is awesome.

The room price is far to much

What a beautiful and elegant hotel with breath taking views of the bridge near the falls and gorgeous manicured grounds. We loved every minute at this property!

Pricey accommodations but the experience was amazing.
