Excellent location, wonderful kind and friendly staff, nice room overlooking a quiet tree lined street. Smaller boutique hotel with nice charm and great upkeep of the facilities. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfasts were very good with many options. Suggestion that they refresh their cut fruit everyday. Plums, Pineapple and Strawberries had been cut several days prior and weren't refreshed every 1-2 days. Just continued to be served, even if say the fruit was turning brown and visibly old.

The room was a great size, quite large, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom terrific. The staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel was also great, walking distance to many places & parks etc. The hotel has many restaurants and cafes very close by and the ones we went to offered great food. Every morning there was a very good pianist playing while having breakfast. This was very enjoyable and not something we expected. The breakfast was very good with a chef who cooked you eggs any way you ordered each day. Also the breakfast time was from 7am to 11am which was very convenient. The coffee machine in the room was very convenient and made nice coffee.

We had to ask for fresh towels on 2 occasions as the housekeeper forgot to replace the towels. The coffee machine in the breakfast room often didn't work and the staff each morning battled with guests complaining this took up a great deal of time for the staff. A better new machine perhaps? As a Brit I missed not being able to make a hot tea in the room. The plunge pool on the roof top was a bit of a disappointment, there were no towels and there was building construction work happening so the area was not very clean or conducive to relaxing.

Six rooms, Six couples….Two Stays. We stayed at Meliá Recoleta twice during our trip to Argentina. We are very picky and can usually find something that we would change or improve on….but not here! Everything was perfect, starting with the neighborhood, followed by the helpful Concierge months before arrival. The rooms have comfortable beds, great towels, lots of hot water and were CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN 😀 All of the employees were gracious, lots of smiles and the included breakfast was delicious. We would all (12 votes!) HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Meliá Recoleta!

I always stay here when in Buenos Aires. The location is great and it's a very classy hotel.

They didn't have a hair dryer and when I asked for one they said they would bring it. I waited for 20 min and called again and they said they're bringing it and still nothing. I had to leave for the airport and they didn't end up bringing it or even apologizing about it. I stay there often and this time I was quite disappointed by their attitude.

Great location and a few yards away from a restaurant we wanted to go to (Fervor). We didn't go to the Jazz club restaurant in the hotel until after dinner at 2130, and were quite surprised that the Jazz was finished then. We heard from others that we'd missed something special. Next time. Nice breakfast and the hotel makes the most of its Eva Person history.

To treat ourselves we booked the Royal Suite. The reception initially gave us the wrong room, despite the fact that there's only one Royal Suite. The suite was very 1970's and it would have been nice to have a bowl of fruit, maybe some flowers to brighten things up a bit.

We enjoy staying at more boutique hotels and this was exceptional. Every staff member was very professional and helpful. They were also very helpful in assisting with storing luggage when we arrived early and had a late flight out. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Loved the towels! The breakfasts were top notch with many different hot and cold options. Where else do you get someone playing a grand piano while eating breakfast! We also loved the location in Recoleta. It was so easy to get to great restaurants, shopping, grand mansions and the Recoleta Cemetery.

We visited the rooftop pool once and the pool was tiny and only a few chairs which were all taken. Was not important to us .

This is a great location on a beautiful tree-lined street. The included breakfast is quite extensive and delicious. The Jazz Club downstairs had amazing jazz and it was great not having to go too far for great music. :) The food was great too. The hotel has a Jazz theme and as a historical bonus, Eva Peron lived there for 2 years in the 40's.

The bath towels were not soft at all. I know this might seem minor, but they bill themselves as a 5-star hotel. I expect soft, fluffy towels!

A spacious room with a seating area. Big comfortable bed with nice bedding. Window looking out onto a leafy street. Lovely quiet and safe area. Positive interactions with all staff. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. A lovely, small, quality boutique hotel in a very nice area - easy walking distance to good cafes, restaurants, shopping and sights.

The bathroom was quite compact with insufficient hooks/racks for towel hanging. Otherwise really liked everything about the place.

We had a pleasant stay at the Melia Recoleta Plaza Hotel in Buenos Aires. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the Recoleta Cemetery and many great restaurants. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The hotel’s traditional decor felt nostalgic and charming, while the bathroom had a modern finish. The friendly staff and their flexibility with late check-out made our stay even better.

Breakfast could offer more variety. The gym and rooftop pool were tiny.

The location was really good for exploring the area. We were able to walk to places we wanted to visit, great cafes and eating spots close by, as well as museums, markets and shops. The room was cosy, clean and spacious, with a touch of old world charm. The breakfast was lovely, adequate and enjoyable. The cooked food was well done and the fact that breakfast was available till 11 am was a bonus!

The bistro could advertise their snack/easy dining menu a little better, as it was not visible or offered when we first dined there.
