The location was outstanding. The ocean/water view from the cabin was stunning. We could see whales in the distance while drinking our morning coffee, surrounded by a range of birds. Wish we had more time to explore. So many different landscapes to walk around. Our teens loved swimming in the area out the front during lower tides. Wished we had our fishing gear. Highly recommend taking a walk up to the bluff at sunset. We will be booking a longer stay next year. Highly recommend the pizza van out the front and the coffee van was good too.

The location is excellent, bordering bushland, beside a tidal estuary, within walking/wading distance to a lightly used beach. The guests were friendly, as were the staff and the town has everything necessary for a break.

We stayed in a cabin jammed between a tool shed and a van site. the unit was old and cramped. It had a double bed and 4 bunk beds, but would have been would have been awful for a family. The covered carport provided quite restricted parking space. However it was clean and well maintained. It came at a considerable discount from the advertised price, but was still expensive. I guess demand sets the price and the setting is excellent, but we still didn't feel that real value was there. Most other cabins are much more modern, and while the two person ones are small, they come with large covered decks. They are also more expensive, but i suspect more comfortable.

Fantastic location perfect for families with a wonderful view. Cabin was well appointed and clean, facilities were great, staff were helpful and friendly. Other residents all lovely as well. Close to shops. Stayed for 10 nights with 2yo daughter who enjoyed hanging out at the creek, playing on the playground and patting all the dogs!

Very minor but TV reception and wifi was a bit patchy for our toddler and to check in on work emails. Might have been a blessing in disguise!

We stayed for a dog-friendly overnight stop between Sydney and Tweed. The cabin had ocean views, surrounded by big trees and a awesome lawn that leads to the beach. I hadn't been to moonee beach before this visit. We will definitely be back!! Can also recommend Mo's pizza, in the carpark next to the holiday park. so good!

The cabin was very comfortable, well equipped and very good value but the highlight was the location. The Holiday Park is set in a beautiful part of the world and the view from the cabin balcony was spectacular. Not only that but we were regularly graced by the appearance of lorikeets and other bird life and the icing on the cake was the presence of a coffee van a mere 100 metres from our cabin. Would highly recommend a stay here.

It was a great tiny home. Enough space for the 2 of us. Great size bathroom

The outdoor seating are 2 metal chairs and a small table. The other tiny homes have nice outdoor seat foot stool and table.

Floor hadn’t been washed in a while. Bed was a double not a queen ( Queen wouldn’t fit in the room.) I’m being picky! Thus is a minor quibble. The floor needs to get washed though, not just vacuumed.

honestly so perfect for our little family me, my partner and our 2 mini dachshund!! SUPER pet friendly, doggy treats were given upon arrival so thoughtful and kind! will definitely have to make this a regular vacation place

The location of our cabin was fantastic, with a view of the ocean from our balcony and window. Plenty of room and lawn in front of the cabin with the cabins not being too close together. Fantastic coffee van just down in front of the park was a plus also.

TV was a bit tricky to get going with the internet.

The cabin was perfect place to stay with teenagers for a sports carnival! Note we can’t really rate the staff as we didn’t actually see anyone - arrived late & left before office opened

The blind in the main area of the cabin had missing panels & we felt a little exposed in the dark with people able to see straight in from public beach & car park areas
