I could comfortably travel with my dog and family. The bathroom was large and the bed was comfortable.

Dated in decor. It would be nice to have a better outside table for sitting at.

The front desk staff were lovely and advised they had given me an upgrade which was a surprise. Room was amazing!! Pool was cold but a nice relief after hours of driving. Slept like a log! Didn't want to leave LOL I could of happily lived in that room!!!

Only a minor issue with cleaning in bathroom . There were a lot of spots that dont get touched and really need a wipe I recommend just a squirt of bleach around the bottom of the tiles in there and also the floor which will remove the mould instantly but the toilet and basin ect were clean. Oh and they hadn't put a tea towel and wash cloth under the kitchen sink so I used a face washer to wash my dishes. Otherwise I loved it!

The cats!! They are the sweetest little things, friendly and because it is a pet friendly Motel, we were able to let them in for cuddles. Real smoochers, cat lovers will love them! If you aren’t an animal lover it’s still an amazing place. Comfortable, clean (I had no idea it was pet friendly until the lovely staff told me). No signs of fur etc. Had everything we needed (even biscuits to go with your morning coffee- complimentary). This will be our motel of choice when we travel through from now on. I have had experiences in Kempsey that were horrible, so had been avoiding using Kempsey as a halfway point. This place has converted me. Well done Windmill Motel. See you again in the near future!

This is rare for me to say…but there wasn’t anything I could fault this motel for. I lu stayed one night though and it was a very quiet Friday.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Location - like most hotels in Coffs - is on the Pacific Hwy (bypass is being built, due for completion in 2027) so you expect a lot of noise, however the room (room 5) was facing away from the road and so I didn't really notice it and with the ceiling fan on, really couldn't hear it. The bed had 4 pillows and 2 were softer and 2 were firmer, so you can get what works for you. Room was really clean.

Maybe some plants or something along the pool fence - you're in the water watching all the cars and trucks go by. Other than that, the place was great.

Check in was not easy I rang cause I was running late and I couldn't find it I didn't know address was Boambee when I got there at 4pm door locked no sign to say back in five there was two other people waiting as well so I rang again and the lady came over she didn't explain where room was until I asked she said "you been before? I said no I was in a mood I was tired and annoyed so I didn't need that when got there I didn't like location either

Family room very spacious Well stocked (toaster, microwave, kettle, clothes drying rack, plates, cutlery, iron and board and dish liquid) Nice outlook (greenery next door) Clean

When we arrived the suburb had a bit of a smell (not specific to the hotel just the area) We didn’t try the pool but the area looked serviceable It was over-priced for a basic freeway motel (even a good one) but we were there during peak season

The staff were friendly and helpful. I had the best night sleep I have had for quite a while. There was plenty of area for your car outside your room.

The soap dispenser in the bathroom had leaked all over the counter and onto the floor. I cleaned it up and let reception know. They offered a new dispenser but were not too concerned. The bed seemed to have been moved and not inline with the tv which made it hard to watch in bed. There are no power points near the bed to charge your phone. The kettle would not fit under the tap in the bathroom and the only way to fill it was to use a cup.

The room we stayed in was quite large with a kitchennette. Bed was so comfortable and the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent. It was a little out of the way of the main town but a good 15 min walk wasn't a problem. After a long drive it was good to stretch the legs anyway. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Upgraded to a king studio at no extra cost. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious and clean and a good supply of bathroom consumables. Little kitchenette was workable but cramped. Swimming pool was clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful and moved us to a quieter room further away from the highway noise.

Not much. The kitchenette by virtue of the room layout was a bit cramped but you could manage to work around it. The air con was too noisy to leave on during the night which made the room hot on a summer's night. It did work well during the day.

Almost soundproof walls. Lots of room, great free extras scattered across the rooms. Great experience overnight. Did not see much besides my own room.

Lacks some options like access to food on site and there were no common rooms in sight. This was not a big deal however. A second TV would be nice for the larger rooms (3+ ppl)
