good atmosphere! quiet place and neat. friendly and helpful people.

sharing the property with the owner if they were bad people, it could be uncomfortable environment to stay. but they were fantastic, very nice people with good heart. we love seeing them around.

Robert and Phyllis were welcoming and attentive hosts. Location is a short walk to unpatrolled beach. There is a cafe located at beach entrance. Breakfast was delicious. There was an abundance of food options including fresh fruit, cereals, breads. We enjoyed a cooked brekky by Robert. Bed was comfy. There is an internal lift that makes life easier for getting luggage up and down. Pool available to swim in but we chose to swim at the beach. We only stayed 1 night and the location suited our needs. Had dinner nearby at Moonee Beach Hotel. Thank you Robert & Phyllis!

Lovely house, comfy bed, close to beach

The room was comfortable and clean. The sitting area was very well equipped, and also comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, a great array of fresh fruits etc and cooked breakfast by Rob was terrific. When I mentioned that my husband was gluten free, there was efffort made to make sure he was catered for.

I had a little difficulty finding which house it was in the dark because it was hard to see the street numbers. My hosts are aware of that problem.

The breakfast was a very acceptable and wide-ranging assortment of fruits, bread/toast, a delicious banana bread to die for, coffee or tea, cereals, yogurts, and the offer of bacon and egg. All very nicely and clearly displayed. Our room was ideal with a very comfortable queen-sized bed and a TV on the far wall and a very well-appointed bathroom. Robert and Phyllis obviously know what they are doing and offering and do a fantastic job with it all and this morning we spent a good hour comparing notes on many things.

Nothing, really. The only thing that would have been better is if we had stayed longer. We will definitely go back as it is only 1 hour and 40 minutes from where we live yet it is so quiet and good to escape to.

The breakfast at Sapphire Chambre was excellent including a cooked option and continental style buffet and the variety of food offered could not be better. The owners cook the breakfast on site and they are very pleasant and helpful. The location of the property was within easy walk to the beach.

The property is on a private road and was very quiet and peaceful, however, be aware that there are no shops on the estate and the nearby cafe was closed at the time we arrived, therefore it's advisable to plan a meal option nearby before arriving.

Beds were comfy. Breakfast was nice

Not made clear in listing that this was someone’s house. We felt a little awkward but this might have been us feeling this rather than the hosts.

Breakfast was great. Heaps of choices and option of cooked breakfast. We eat lightly at breakfast so we opted for cereal and some od Phyllis's yummy banana bread.

Our room (room 3)was rather hot on our first night. Cooled down by second night.

My wife has limited mobility. The room was set up for a disabled person with good access to the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent - probably the best we have had whilst travelling in Australia!!
