The service was excellent, and the restaurant facility was warm and inviting. However, the breakfast presentation and meal were somewhat disappointing. I ordered bacon and tomatoes. The bacon was a tad old and tired (tough to cut) and flavourless. These were not the usual rashers that one might expect. I was the only person in the restaurant for breakfast, so it was not a case of the meal being rushed. It was unappealing to be frank. Toast, usually a given with a meal such as this, was at extra cost.

Having just recovered from hip surgery, I found that climbing the stairs to my room with luggage was a challenge. Equally, the bed was akin to sleeping on a bed of marshmallows - too soft for one experiencing lower back and hip pain. Perhaps, at the time of booking accommodation, the customer might be asked if there are any special needs either on arrival or in bedroom accommodation. Just a thought.

Beautiful mansion in equally beautiful gardens and golf course! A magical experience in a tastefully renovated period home . So relaxed and comfortable with everything you could need, even a great restaurant with spacious balcony seating as well as a great bar. Orange is also a wonderful place to visit with oodles of heritage homes and buildings and the most gorgeous trees and gardens! We loved it all, thank you to all the hardworking staff and the members of the Orange community!

The location is a nice and quiet spot. Beds are very comfortable and room was very clean and spacious. Charlie in the dinning/bar room was very much a lovely and very helpful young man as you don't see that any more these days it's a credit to him.

Reception is through the actual Golf club not the accommodation itself for booking in I didn't actually know where to go to book in as sign said reception this was but took you to the car park with no reception sign after that. Lucky there was a staff member out the front to help me.

We enjoyed the beautiful historic architecture. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful.

It would have been nice if while the beautiful guest lounge was being painted and thus closed, if one of the other beautiful historic rooms had been set up as an alternative. This of course was an unusual situation and not the typical experience of those staying at this property.

It was hard to rate as initially I felt I was in a nursing home or a retirement home facility but then walking into my bedroom was amazing. It has been renovated beautifully. Also, the meals were good even though the dining room seemed tired. Staff were very helpful. A good experience all up.

I guess it will take a little time to renovate everything like the bedrooms

Beautiful grand historic house with comfortable rooms and very comfortable bed. Nice views of golf course and town. Good wifi and plenty of parking available.

If you don’t like or can’t manage lots of stairs then this property will not suit you.

Would have loved to have dinner but there was no dinner service on Monday evening.

Short stay but very comfy with lovely views of the gold course. Very friendly staff, delicious meals and great local wine menu. I felt very comfortable and most welcomed for a solo traveller. I'll be back again...

Lovely old building and very comfortable.

Checking in was a bit hard to find. And the addition of a lift will be good so long as it doesn’t affect the old world nature of the building.
