Close proximity to town and all conveniences. Close to food outlets and easy directions to main parts of town. The room was comfortable and clean, the bed was also comfortable. It had tea and coffee making facilities with a fridge with treats with which of course you had to pay for. The motel served a delicious breakfast with all condiments included, as in cereal, toast bacon and eggs and assorted cakes, all at a very reasonable cost There was plenty of parking available, all in front of your room or near vicinity of the room.

There was nothing that I didn't like and nothing to complain about

The room was exactly what we needed for a one-night stay in Queanbeyan. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was a bit dated but fine for our needs. We were at the roadside of the accommodation so was a little noisy at times but not enough to be a problem.

I really disliked the external stairs that were required to get up to the second floor accommodation. It was freezing and wet during our stay and although the steps were well sign posted with slippery when wet signs, it was still a little frightening going up and down them in inclement weather. Would not have liked to use them if we had small children, elderly or a lot of luggage.

Tiny problems only! The toilet room in 109 needs a hand towel. Some more storage shelves or hooks in the bathroom to keep clothes dry would be great. The front door lock on 212 is a bit of a problem and needed a few tries each time to work. Staff at reception were friendly - but not all that helpful with regard to transport (wouldn't assist ordering a taxi and was unable to provide any information on bus services) and could do with some training to help "out of town" visitors move around Queabeyan and Canberra. Amusingly staff were unable to advise if the NSW Opal travel card could be used in Queanbeyan as they "don't catch public transport" !!!

We had the 2 bed apartment for 4 people. Location was perfect for us. Shops close by (walking distance) which was a bonus. Modern, clean & tidy, looked freshly painted, new furnishings, floors, blockout double blinds, beds very comfortable and so was the lounge & tub chair in the living area. Had a full size upright stove/oven (not new but clean) - we didn't use it. Had a full size fridge too. Huge wall TV in the living area, plus had a smaller one in one bedroom. Air conditioning in living and each bedroom. Concierge allocated a room upstairs but as the only lift was on the opposite side & no way would our mum have made it to the room, he was kind enough to change it to one on the ground floor and our car was parked just outside.

Maybe an additional toilet roll added for this type of apartment would be good if 4 adults staying.. Microwave - no buttons worked except the start button LOL but not the end of the world. Oh, one of the bedrooms had a wall TV but not the other, would be good to add one there too.

Check in was smooth and easy to follow (after hours). Staff I encountered next morning were very friendly.

Unfortunately, guests nearby began loud conversations pre-6am - very loud and very long. That finally finished when more started - this time in the central courtyard - they revved their cars and motorbikes for a long time, yelled and laughed loudly also. Unbelievable! I am not sure if there is any management onsite but there was ample time for someone to ask these folks to be quiet and more considerate. I have actually never experienced this level of noise pre 6.30am in any hotel ever!

Easy to find, close to the city for tea, close to Floriade and easy to get to Tulip Top Gardens without too much city driving. Our room was quiet, comfortable and ideally placed, closest to reception. The reception area was impressive, especially the giant bell. I liked the plants at the rear entrance to reception, a welcoming touch.

There is always room for improvement, and I noticed the vent near the shower needed cleaning, but this was only a minor thing. The room lighting was a bit dull and the decor fairly basic/sterile. An extra blanket wouldn't go astray.

Loved our overnight stay here. The receptionist was very helpful, enjoyed our comfortable bed, and our room was clean, and so was the bathroom- which is a big deal for me. Easy free parking available on site and free WiFi with good reception. Full breakfast buffet was delicious and affordable, and the location of the hotel was perfect - close walks to eateries and short minute drive to woolies, coles, and Aldi as well as the main Queanbeyan town center.

There was an option to use Chrome cast on TV in our room. However, we and staff included couldn't get it to work.

BreakFree was like a refuge upon arrival!!! I absolutely loved the place. I had a one bedroom apartment with a queen sized bed. Great value for money. The room was spotless. The shower/bathroom was immaculate. There was a few spots of black mould in the grout between the tiles, but this happens with all bathrooms. The shower head was difficult to turn off properly so I had to place this on the floor of the shower recess.The kitchen was well equipped with everything one could need. There was a microwave and a stove!!! My bed was suprisingly conformable!!! The sheets felt lovely and clean and fresh. Unfortunately we arrived later than expected so my daughter didn't get to spend much time in the pool, but...the pool was beautifully maintained and well fenced. I loved the water fountain near the pool. I was told breakfast was $25 per head but I was sure I had seen it advertised for $19 per head. The location was central to everything, and the whole place was lovely and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer and this place will be my "go to" should I need to stay in Queanbeyan again. The only thing I could suggest would be to have maybe a shop on site where people can purchase non perishable items of convenience.

I didn't like having to leave

Cleanliness, good size bedrooms. Ample parking lot. Neat and tidy. Cook top, fridge and microwave, these amenities are at par. ALDI is just down the road. All in all I will recommend this property to my friends.

Maybe I am wrong but the kitchen lady was a bit rude. The second thing is the shower mixer is kind of funny. Either too hot water or damn bad cold, it took me a lot of time to match the mixer. Other than the rest was a good stay.

Bed really comfortable but pillows not at all. Additional pillows and blanket would have been good as I don't like to use air-conditioning. Information regarding restaurants close by would have been useful. Staff unable to assist. This information would be useful in the room as the restaurant on site not open. So this needs to be included on booking website
