This was my first time staying in a motel, I prefer to stay in hotels or Air BNBs. After vising this motel, I will consider staying in motels in the future. The staff was friendly and proactive with our needs. They asked if we will be checking in late (after reception is closed) and managed the key handover well. The location is good, it's close to the centre of town but it's also quiet. The room was spacious enough to have two small luggage bags (the rest you can keep in your car). This motel has good housekeeping as well. This is a pet friendly motel and I was worried there will be pet hair and smell - but there wasn't. Keep up the good work Queanbeyan Motel!

A few minor things for me, but I would like to stress that it was still a good facility. The bathroom facility would be better if it had an exhaust (there is a window that you can open which I realised on my second night) and the shower pressure could be higher. I would recommend management to also add a vending machine so that we can quickly but essential items like baby wipes, bottled water etc. The lighting is white light. Please consider adding warm yellow lights by the bedside table. It will make the room look nice and reading books on yellow warm lights is more comfortable.

The manager is friendly and helpful. The room and the property were very clean. Loved the hot water and pressure in the shower.we were lucky to be given an upgrade to a larger room. We have stayed here before and will again as they are pet friendly. Management were very accommodating when our car didn't start and let us stay in the motel parking area while it was fixed. We were very grateful for that.

The room we had, although larger than some, had limited floor space because of two extra beds, so we lost the benefit of the room size.

This is a fabulous property. It’s exceptionally clean with fabulous amenities (kettle, toaster, Netflix, iron, hair dryer ect). It’s very close walking distance to Woolworths, Aldi and a pub for dinner. The bathroom has had a mini makeover, and they have the best shower pressure! The bed, bed linen, and room are clean and tidy with fabulous AC for Canberra summers, and Netflix to boot. We stayed with our two dogs and they were warmly welcomed in dog only friendly room. We will Definitely stay again. The owners.. are fabulous!

Bhim, the man at reception was great! Very personable and quick to check us in. My room was spacious and very clean. The bed was huge and sooooo comfy It had all the necessary amenities (Wifi, netflix, microwave, tea, coffee, iron etc) The motel is located on the main street, 2min walk from the local pub for dinner and drinks, 2min drive to the centre of town; cafes, the plaza, banks etc. I was there overnight, and it was perfect for me

The bathroom was a little dated, however, it was very clean, the water was hot and the pressure just right! For an overnight stay or weekend, perfect!

Clean room, friendly staff, good location near where we needed to be. As Motels go, this is one of the better ones we have stayed at in the area. Good TV.

Bed was not firm and slanted to the edges. It is 2 king singles pushed together so the high point was in the middle. It wasn't the worst, but a good king mattress's would have been better.

Motel was pet friendly and only a short flat walk to all the amenities of Queanbeyan. The room was clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the kettle that worked failed at dinner to boil water. Was replaced promptly by a brand new kettle the next morning. We had misplaced some medical tablets and I was phoned shortly after our departure they had found a packet of tablets when they were cleaning. We were pleased and returned to pick up the tablets.

The microwave oven has a very low capacity so it took longer to reheat and heat food items than expected. The hooks on the back of the bathroom door are very very small so the towels kept falling off. Towel hooks just need to be a bit bigger in size.

Location is so convenient. The room was clean and freshly painted. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The shower sprayed well and the water was hot immediately. One thing that could have presented a problem if I were older and less mobile was the enormous step/lip into the shower cubicle.

The room was in the two storey wing and in the morning when others around started to shower, it was like being at Niagara Falls, very loud and impossible to sleep through.

The Queanbeyan Motel had a perfect, clean, inexpensive room which was perfect for a one night stay. We wished to break up the drive between Sydney and Thredbo and 4 of us slept in air conditioned comfort. Check in was friendly and quick.

Everything was good but the air conditioner was a little noisy and remote almost non-functional. This was fixed with new batteries

Easy to access and friendly welcome was provided for a ground floor unit as requested.

Very loud guests outside the unit for about 30 minutes from 2140. A group of females talking loudly and totally unaware of the impact the noise they were making was having on other model guests. Fortunately they became quiet at about 2210.

We were able to have our dog stay with us which was great. The motel was easy walking distance to shops and parks and whilst the motel initially looked older the rooms and amenities were excellent. Very clean and comfortable.

Queanbeyan weather was freezing, but the room was very warm.
