Great overnight stay between Sydney and Thredbo and really well priced. Staff were really accommodating when we were delayed on our journey, allowed us to pre-order our meal, and had it ready for us when we arrived (delicious and very reasonable too). Room was perfect for an overnight stay. Shared bathrooms were easily accessed and always clean. Perfect for an overnight stay. Bar was fun (it was karaoke night).

Nothing really. It was a cracking price, and exceeded our expectations for the purpose of our stay - an overnighter on the way to the snow.

Everything was good. Facilities were well presented and stylish. Clean and staff members were very kind too. I walked into my room, and it was absolutely a beautifully presented room. I've really enjoyed the staying. I have stayed in many other places in a similar price arrage or even more expensive too, and this one is one of the top qualities out of those considering the price.

I liked pretty much everything. Just while I'm having a shower, the sensor light went off. Some seconds were dark as I couldn't see a thing. I had to open the bathroom door to make the light on again. Water pressure isn't that great.

I loved how convenient it was in regards to transportation having the bys stop right outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we had a query. It's also convenient if you feel like a few drinks without having to travel ir drive anywhere. The room I stayed in was clean and functional. I didn't have any meals there but they do have a good range to choose from and prices seemed very reasonable.

Room felt rather warm and I could get the air-conditioning to work properly.

This is a very old hotel, but rooms and separate bathrooms have been modernised and are quite chic. Staff were excellent and sorted out problems willingly and efficiently. Delicious dinner in the hotel. My room at the top of the hotel was very quiet.

Be aware that you have to carry luggage up stairs. It wasn’t a big issue but we had requested rooms near one another and for some unidentified reason this didn’t happen.

The location was convenient, both for Queanbeyan and Canberra. The bistro food was excellent. The staff were always cheerful and helpful. It is an older hotel, so no lift to go upstairs, but good security for the rooms. While toilet and bathroom are shared, there is a sink, fridge, and kettle in the room. Good internet connection.

I parked in the street because the parking is minimal and it is a busy pub.

Our second time staying here. Affordable pub accommodation. We appreciated extra touches such as biscuits and hot chocolate in our room. We also appreciated the refrigerator in the room and sink. It wasn't noisy and the shared facilities are in a good condition. We ate at the pub and enjoyed our meals.

Not a problem for us but the stairs could be an issue for others and there is limited parking; so be early!

room and surroundings were fitted with modern period features comfortable and clean, tv and aircon worked well ,bathroom facilities were clean and well stocked ,as well as spacious , staff were friendly and respectful , bonus points being a pub (hotel) menu was in our room ,giving us ample and relaxed time to view pricing and items at our leisure .

Staff were amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Price was very good. Exceeded my expectations, as the place is a lot nicer than the cover picture makes it look. (I think you should update this guys! 😜 Feel free to use the night time one I have included in the review.)

Excellent service! Mark is a great staff member who was very helpful throughout the stay! The room though small was lovely and we felt very much at home during the stay. They even let us microwave our meals at the pub restaurant!

The lack of reserved parking for hotel guests was the main inconvenience. Due to it also being a pub all the parking was occupied with those watching football. That being said, a staff member even offered me their park.

Great location, short walk from the shops and if you want a meal it's just downstairs. The staff let me check-in at 11am and held my luggage from checkout time til after 5pm. There's always someone around to help you. The room itself and bathrooms are cleaned regularly. They leave lavender bodywash in the showers. I thought I'd point that out cos it smelt really nice.
