This motel was within a few hundred metres of where I needed to go to for a training course so was perfectly located for what I needed. I was also able to park and leave my car there while I was at the course. There's even more parking further back if you don't want your car visible from the street. The room was comfortable and was more than adequate for a place to sleep after my course and visiting relatives in Canberra as well. There is a microwave, fridge and TV (which I didn't use but are there if you need them). Keep in mind you will need your own cups/glasses and cutlery (not an issue for me - maybe they were supplied on request but I didn't think to ask). I ended up extending my stay from 1 day to two and I should have booked two days originally as I would have gotten the discount for both days by booking a two day or more stay in the first place! Pictures are from Room 5 which I was very satisfied with.

Not a complaint in the slightest but keep in mind the front desk closes at 8pm unless you let them know in advance (which my fault I hadn't and I cut things a bit fine by leaving later than planned from Sydney and getting there at 7:50pm). Also, the wifi password printout had an error with one digit. Once again not a complaint, just advice to try it straight away so that when I called for help, the very helpful person from the front desk was able to come and fix the problem before 8:30pm instead of me disturbing them at a much later hour.

It’s an old property. But clean and better than I expected for the $ paid. Accommodated us for a very early check in.

Bathroom sink cracked but didn’t affect it. Good position. Cd walk over road to supermarket and shops. Property was old and rooms needed a solid renovation but for the price point was good, clean and comfortable. Large room. We had a ground floor so didn’t need to lug things upstairs.

The king size bed provided one of the best sleeps i have ever had, I am not joking! I can't believe the value of my stay, only paid $116 for one night (passing through from Sydney to Melbourne) and the air con worked great, wifi internet was excellent, location was great it's close to everything in Queanbeyan and only 16min drive from Canberra. Honestly I can't wait to stay again next time I visit Canberra.

Nothing to dislike, everything was great!

We arrive in the evening and leave early morning so quick stay. Stayed twice though and both times its good value for money and rooms are comfortable and clean.

Car park can be a little tight but there is also street parking.

The decor is a little outdated but was very clean and comfortable. Good location to facilities in the town and only a very short drive to the where the elected liars of Australia are in the capital when they vote for a pay rise if that is what you want to see

The stuff was very accommodating to our needs, there was plenty of nice hot water for the shower, and the bed was very soft and comfortable

The noise from the road was a bit loud.

The value for the location was exceptional. The situation of the motel is brilliant: the leafy and quiet suburb was wonderful. The room itself, though a little outdated, was comfortable and maintained to an above acceptable standard. the proprietors/staff were friendly, approachable and always smiling. Due to airline delay we were 2 hours late, but the proprietor was waiting, well after the office closed, to meet us and check us in.

The room was a little outdated, but considering the value and closeness to the city this was not a real issue! The car parks are a little narrow, when three, or more, larger vehicles are parked together, again not a real issue as there are plenty of spaces.

Great location, very clean room, well presented and it had everything I needed. Right near everything you need like shops, food, main street.

Older style room and furniture etc. Right near lights, so traffic noise was quite loud at times.
