The access card didn't always work on the main gate when returning from outside after hours.

I stayed in a private room with my two children 16 and 7 years old and a friend of my daughter's also 16 and we really loved our cosy room. It was located in a lovely townhouse in a central location in Newtown. Room was clean and my son loved the YouTube on the tv. We also had a fridge. On Sunday there was free pancakes for brekkie that the staff cooked up for the guests. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. I also had a swim in the small pool. Not heated though, but I'm Swedish so I didn't mind the 5 degree water in Winter. Price for our room was good for being in Newtown, which is a really cool suburb with lots of street art, opshops, Cafés and unique shops.

Very good location, lively area where everything is and even young people. I came with older people and they liked it very much because they had a place to park the car. Helpful staff, the staff really helped me when I asked. Perfect communication. The only thing the hostel could improve is to have separate beds. Have a room where four guys can come in and each have their own bed. They had to share one of the husband's.

Room was very basic, and the building was very old bordering on disrepair in places but the location was brilliant and it was a great, cheap option in a very lively fun area of Sydney to explore. Staff were friendly and we were very grateful for the luggage storage and access to shared amenities when we arrived early. We would stay again. Also, Biscoff biscuits - what an absolute treat.

I like that the room is spacious for 4 of us. They also changed the towels on our 2nd day of stay which was appreciated.

The toilet needs a little bit of thorough cleaning as there were molds in the sink and shower although I'm not really fuzzy. Also, we saw one small cockroach in the toilet the first time we entered the room and the second one near the fridge on our second morning but it's fine. 😀

Every day the staff clean all rooms and the kitchen, there are always someone to help you in the reception, everyone are kind and attentive. Train station is close, you have many restorant, supermarket and whatever you need close to the hostel

Everything is perfect

Great location, spacious comfortable rooms in a heritage listed (?) quaint building. Really liked the double doors that opened onto the terrace balcony.

Only one bathroom for a few rooms which was inconvenient for peak hour but manageable. Walls are thin so you can hear ordinary conversations in other rooms.

Good location, overall pretty clean, friendly and helpful staff!

Room a little small, I was the 5th person to enter a 6 dorm room and there was no available locker space or area to keep my bag out of the way. Also just a little noisey. Overall still happy and nothing unexpected.

Although we didn't get the original rooms we booked (with ensuites) we were accommodated in a terrace house with shared facilities that was an exceptional and unique stay. It is a backpackers, and we did stay there as a group/family, and there was no issues. The vibe was great. Staff was very helpful despite having problems with our original booking due to maintenance they looked after us well and we got a great deal.

No air-con and it was a 40 degree celcius day. Pool was a bit murky and didn't use it.

Very nice room with private bathroom, spacious common spaces, large kitchen, pool in the center of the building. Very friendly staff with excellent disposition. The neighborhood with a lot of life, restaurants, food from all over the world. Very good location 20 minutes by train or bus from the Opera and the ferries. I'm going back.
