The Moorings is situated in the beach front at Golden Beach and as such our room had a good view and it was just a short walk to the beach. Our room was spacious and clean and kitchen facilities were excellent. Everything was available in the kitchen for us to self cater when needed. There was a spacious deck that got the morning and afternoon sun and we used the air-conditioning on the nights when the temperatures were over the 30's.

We were on the top/3rd floor of the block that has no lifts. We had travelled from overseas and so we didn't think about access in terms of our luggage. Fortunately we are fit and healthy for our age but I would recommend that persons who struggle with mobility be on the ground floor or the units with lift access. Access to the bath/shower needed a bit of effort.

Location and price were great. Room had al we needed. Clean and neat. Security was excellent. Staff helpful and friendly.

Car parking was almost impossible. We had a tiny car space and a tiny car, so it was OK for this trip. Had we had a car any bigger we would have had great difficulty getting it into the car space. While clean and fully functional, the room is in need of repair. The toilet seat was pitted and damaged; the shower door had a warning on it to be gentle to keep it in its tracks. A smarter TV would have been nice, but that didn't really matter. The room was very bright at night and especially in the morning with sunrise, so blackout curtains would be great.

Very spacious, and comfortable, had Everything we needed. Great view from the balcony, very quiet and just out the gate is the beach and just a walk away from the shops. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool and it was all around a pleasant stay will definitely come again.

The stairs, I didn’t know when I booked that it was stair access , after re reading the details when we arrived it does state in small font that it’s stair access, I personally think it should be more clear and noted. Carting our stuff up flights of stairs after a long drive with kids is not ideal even worse when we didn’t know and there are other levels with lifts. This is a nit pick but we hired a cot and the baby blanket that was provided was very dirty, I don’t use blankets anyway I use our baby sleeping bags but it was extremely dirty.

The Manager was very helpful with her assistance, including information about the units, the parking underneath the building, and the restaurant. The unit was exactly what I needed for my 3-day stay to attend a conference: comfortable and quiet. I had arrived later than expected because of traffic delays on the freeway, so I was very grateful for my late check-in. I recommend Moorings Beach Resort, Mooloolaba, which is located on the beachfront and walking path.

There was nothing that I didn't like. It was convenient, clean, and having parking under the building was important to me.

We loved the location and size of the apartment. Even though it was a ground floor unit we could still see the water and it was easy access to the pool and beach.

Maybe a more thorough clean. There was dirty cutlery in the drawers and glasses that had been put back dirty. e.g. Wine glasses still had wine residue and lipstick on them. There was also a couple of items left in one of the bedrooms from previous tenants. Also for a 10 night stay I think there should have been given an extra roll of toilet paper and more than 1 garbage etc. Overall though these were minor things and we were impressed with the apartment.

Everything was great, located directly across the street from the beach. Good beach for little kids with no waves and nice soft sand. Pool was fantastic with a heated spa and seperate shallow kiddy pool. AC in the room was ice cold, view was wonderful!

No lift made it tricky with small children. No laundry facilities in our room was problematic.

Location is great close to the beach & 2 minutes walk to shops, restaurants & cafes. Also at the front of the resort has a cafe across from the beach

Air-conditioned in the room wasn't working, otherwise my stay was lovely & I enjoyed my stay at Mooring Beach Resort. The staff they all friendly and helpful.. Awh no access no wifi at the resort

Chairs in dining area were worn, couldn’t comfortably sit on them, definitely need replacing

The location for the price was incredible. We were upgraded to an ocean view room which was absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the ocean and pool right out your window was super special. Bed was nice and comfy. Pool and spa were awesome! Cafe out the front was great too. Location was just perfect!

Little outdated but that’s ok.

Reception staff went above and beyond. Facilities you have access to are next level. Cafe with great food attached. Location was amazing.

The bed wasn't the comfiest but I like ultra soft mattresses. Wasn't uncomfortable though. A small kitchen table and chair would have been nice but there was one on the balcony but not suitable in wet weather.
