The resort is old but a perfect location with unspoiled views of the ocean and Caloundra. Very pleasant stay and will likely stay again in future when visiting relatives in Pelican Waters. Before we book again I will check if the Indian restaurant is still down stairs. I won't take the risk that we might end up with a lower level room.

The overwhelming smell of Indian food in the car park, ground floor levels and I can only presume the lower levels of the resort. We live near Harris Park (little India) in Sydney and have never smelled anything so strong coming from our neighboring Indian restaurants.

Good spacious room, comfortable couches and beds, plenty of kitchen equipment, close to shops etc. good access to quiet beach for young children, great pool with slide. The tennis court was good.

The pool was not heated as advertised for most of our stay. The spa pool was not heated properly, was improved the last night, but still not as hot as a spa should be, spa water was also cloudy. The games room was small, and only one free thing was table tennis, disappointed that the air hockey and pool table required coin payment. Other coin operated machines should not be part of the games room. A larger family friendly games facility with free facilities would be a great improvement to the resort.

The apartment was fab for a family of 5! The layout was great and the views were spectacular! The facilities were amazing and the outdoor pool was warm enough for sept weather! Plenty of seating around pool and quiet! The location was gorgeous! Shops, chemist and cafe’s across the road! Would recommend this to any families looking for a relaxing getaway outside of peak!

Bed comfort was passable and apartment was a bit dated and no aircon in bedroom ( i imagine it would be very hot in summer) but there were ceiling fans! Could hear odd noise like wind whistling through doors but even so the good definitely outweighs the negatives!

I liked everything from when I arrived. I normally don’t stay at resorts but so glad I made the one off exception to my rule. It made me fall even more in love with Caloundra. The room facility was top notch with all the basic essentials. When I needed more milk and soap the staff were only too happy to assist. They have trolleys for luggage a big bonus and you get more than one room key. I was able to use the spa in July. You have ocean views but a bit of a buffer from the ocean so not the intense sea breezes making being on the balcony so calm. The two reception staff I met were so nice. Stayed two nights July 12-14.

We Arrived at 6pm and no one around had to ring a number which put me on hoped for 10 mins then told that the computer was running slow she would ring back, we sat in the foyer tired and frustrated finally she rang back and gave wrong number for key safe. Next day came back at 6pm and both our key cards would not work rang again and finally someone came with new cards so we could get in our apartment. Really was a bit of a nuisance.

Great apartment, nice decor and clean, lots of room. Great view and lots of extra details eg. Pegs for clothes rack and scissors!

The only negative was the entrance to the carpark. The entrance was also the exit for the carpark and as it was only wide enough for one car, you had to be very careful and had to reverse back if a car was coming in. The top of the ramp was also right on a roundabout, which was hard when exiting carpark to turn into it.

The view and location of the hotel was great!!! It was very clean which was nice - some towels missing - hand towels and bath mats. Reception were lovely.

The fit out is still the same as it was nearly 20 years ago. The kitchen needs a full refurbishment, appliances are old and given price of accommodation it is not too expensive to upgrade. There should be a sofa bed (queen size) in the lounge room as the couch is too uncomfortable to sleep on.

Loved the pool, it was so well maintained and the lush gardens around it are so well kept. The 2 bed apartment was spacious and very comfortable.

Nothing, we had a great time. We did unluckily have a power outage for approx 18 hours ish. But they had a backup generator so the lifts worked and some corridor lighting. The staff let us know what happened and we saw Energex working through the night fixing the issue. We cooked our dinner on the BBQs at the beach and our boys thought it was all a big adventure, so it wasn't a big inconvenience.

We liked the Golden Beach area and the resort delivered a comfortable stay. Facilities good, excellent to have a good functioning laundry, pool area nice but not warm enough to attract action. Reception staff friendly and charging most of the time.

Not too much to dislike, oven door needs attention.

Courtesy trolley to assist us with getting our luggage to the room was handy. The 3rd level garden room 29 had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great views. Seb and the boys did a great job of keeping the pool and gardens clean and tidy. Rea and Kirsty in reception were very helpful and courteous. Overall, it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. 🤠⚘️

The bed was a bit to firm for us. But we soon got used to it.
