Very nice property. Brand new almost. Beautiful views with floor to ceiling windows. View was magnificent. Main bedroom very spacious however would have preferred a king size bed as that’s what we are used too. Other bedroom extremely small. Shower was terrific, lots of pressure. Location is good, about a three to four blocks away from main huddle and bustle of Burleigh but walk along beach/esplanade very enjoyable. Our only disappointment was that one of the toilets was not clean. It had human faeces in it. Not what one wants to see. Pillows on bed are generous but ridiculously high. Need to provide option for flatter pillow’s. Apart from that all was good.

Great property, great location and great value. If you're planning a stay in Burleigh and wish to self cater, an apartment at Sandbar Burleigh is a perfect option. Our apartment was meticulously clean and spacious and was adequately appointed with crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment. The staff were very helpful and accommodated us for an early check in and late checkout.

The only issues we had was the cost of hiring a beach towel ($10 per towel and no swapping out during our stay), limited cleaning equipment at the BBQ area (Selly's BBQ wipes) and the noise associated with the light rail project (which is not within Sandbar's control.

Great location, easy access to bus stops, cafes, Easy mart directly below & close to 7-11. New, clean & well styled apartment, ocean & hinterland views, comfortable beds. Secure undercover parking. Only recommendations would be to supply an ironing board with the iron, add signage to each level of the car park to make it easier to find your parking spot (especially for after hours check in) & supply more clothes detergent & dishwashing detergent etc for longer stays. Bedside lamps would also be a good addition.

Bright, spacious rooms with lots of windows and natural light. Well decorated with extremely comfortable beds. Great shower pressure and spotlessly clean. The pool area was lovely and suited our needs. We arrived a few hours early after a red-eye flight, and the lovely lady at reception suggested a local cafe for brunch while we waited for our room to be ready. We were lucky enough that the room ended up being ready earlier than expected, and she called me to let us know we could check in early. On-site parking is a bonus, and the lobby always smelled fresh and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return next time we visit the Gold Coast.

Roadworks outside the building due to the new tram lines. Not too noisy, though. Certainly didn't bother us at all.

Rooms were amazing. Location was great.

The parking arrangements were a little bit annoying. We were assigned a carpark at the beginning of the stay. At one point we arrived back and someone else was in the spot. We then got given another 2 possible spots, went to park there and someone was in them. This happened more than once. I know it’s not the staffs fault, but it could do with a better process as it was a bit inconvenient having to go ask multiple times about where we could park.

The apartment and views were absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen. Location was great and check in / check out was easy.

Some parts of the kitchen space didn’t seem to be cleaned before check in eg. Dining table had lots of finger marks and the sink was a bit dirty. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless though! We also would have loved room service at some point throughout our 5 night stay but understand this is more apartment living than hotel.

We changed accommodation from Surfer’s Paradise to Burleigh. If you like quiet area this is where you should go. Sandbar was very close to the beach. Our apartment on 20th floor had wonderful ocean view. Apartment itself was spacious, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Loved spacious balcony with lounge sofa. Kitchen was equipped with necessary amenities and parking space was really handy. Shame that we couldn’t stay longer. We didn’t use shared bbq area and pool.

Only small thing I would suggest is to provide amenities like dishwashing tabs or soap/sponge for people staying shorter period of time. As we stayed only 2 nights we couldn’t buy those.

The location was fantastic.Not too far from bus stops for public transport;also supermarkets and specialty stores were within walking distance. The apartment was equipped with a washing machine and dryer which was helpful for our week long stay. Parking provided free of charge.

There was no clothes rack/line to hang washing on to dry. It would be nice if the pool was heated so it could be used in winter. The pillows were way too full and firm.

Beautiful apartment that far exceeded our expectations- floor to ceiling windows, ocean views from every room, wrap-around balcony overlooking the beach & lovely fit out. Perfect!

The location is great, with easy access to the beach and a short walk down the centre of Burleigh for coffee or food. The 2-bed apartment was a good size for 3 adults and a toddler, we had amazing views over Burleigh and towards the mountains from the 23rd floor.

Street access was difficult with the construction out the front, The parking spaces were small which meant we had to get the toddler out of the car before parking and vice versa when getting back in
