Ground level, river front apt with quiet and pleasant views plus a big patio. Roomy apartment with 2 bedrooms, family bath and master en-suite, clean and tidy and surprisingly, large bottles of Body Wash supplied in both bathrooms. Very short walk (1× block) to the centre of Surfers Paradise, secure, off-street basement parking. Loved the location and sunrise/sunsets over the river, listened to the Anzac memorial on the partially covered patio with a cup of hot tea then watched an incredible thunderstorm blow through post ceremony. Modern washer and dryer in unit, handy after caught in a downpour returning from walk to town.

Unit (#11) is very dated - maybe 80's and not the sleek modern apartment that was prominently advertised on the website. Kitchen cupboard doors need hinges fixing and doors hung crooked when opened, no 'dish washer' cleaner available so had to wash dishes by hand, bathroom dated with chipped tiles and dripping tap in ensuite. Small step up to both bathrooms a tripping hazard. Shower door in ensuite very narrow but managed to squeeze through. Although in need of some maintenance, we consider the fee paid for our stay in unit 11 value for money, the apt 9/10 for it's location, space, views and security. We would book again for future holidays and recommend Surfers Del Rey to others.

The location was great, overlooked the river, they had a pool area which is awesome. They’re only minutes walk from the main strip. Only thing was stairs, so pack light or have everything packed & ready to move, I made 4 trips to the car haha. Also trying to find the lobby door, would be great if they put “lobby door” signs on the doors so people know how to get to the front if there coming through the basement carpark stair way. Also the host was great, friendly man, didn’t have complaints about us, as we were having a few drinking before heading out, I did go with 2 little party animals and was a bit worried about getting noise complaints, but we must’ve been fine, we’ll I hope so, would definitely stay here again but only for a quiet night out, cause the balconies were too close to each other, so deffs a good place to stay if your a quiet drinker or just need a little break away.

Room was exceptionallly clean and very well maintained. Beds were comfy, sheets crisp. Staff were friendly and helpful, easy check in and out, room had everything we needed and more.

Spa was out of action, location was a bit dodgy for young families, carpark is very hard to navigate, rooms are not in order, angular and narrow parking. Room was noisy overnight, could hear doors slamming all night into the early morning. Fair walk to Cavill Ave with kids.

Amazing view, clean and everything we needed! It’s a bit tired but the price reflects that and it doesn’t affect any thing that matters. We really enjoyed our stay and will choose there in the future for sure. It was also very safe and secure. The hot tub was beautifully set and all was clean.

The only thing that I found remotely negative would be the man scented shower wash. It would be fine if neutral smell, but knowing that I will just bring my own next time.

Location was great, access with garage parking was great and easy. Key pick up easy. Apartment was spacious and great views being on the canal. Great to have a washer and dryer. I'd definitely stay here again.

All fixable things: Spa wasn't working and I didn't see that mentioned anywhere when booking. I chose the property because it had a spa so we could take the kids in it. As much as the GC is usually hot, we got a colder weekend and there wasn't enough spare blankets in the apartment. The kitchen has a water leak under the sink with a bowl under it (my son tipped it everywhere) mini tiny ants are coming in behind the jug a gap in the silicon. There are no teaspoons and odd number of plates cups. Batteries died in the remote so we replaced them for you. The lights in the bedrooms are too dark. The sliding door in the bedroom seemed to be locked or jammed. But otherwise a great stay and price is reflective of quality.

The location was fairly central, clean and comfortable. Nice pool and small jetty for fishing off.

2 rolls of toilet paper was not quite enough, but luckily I wasn’t travelling with daughters. Had also booked Surfers Del Ray as there was a little jetty off the property, kids had planned to fish off it during our stay, unfortunately it was not accessible due to ground works/maintenance.

Excellent Location. Close to Surfers Paradies beach and the shopping area. Easy check-in.

The Bathroom is small, and feels congested due to placing of washing machine and drier there. Also some of the electrical appliances in the kitchen such as toaster and microwave would cause the main circuit to trip. We stopped any attempts to use these devices after a few such instances.

Location close to shops, Beautiful river view, Rooms were spacious and tidy. No carpet.

Hallways of complex were grubby, We picked this apartment because of hot tub and it's been broken for months. A bit deceitful not to mention it's broken. The door locks are old school and hard to open. Front gate hard to open. The landscaping has been ripped up and the grounds view from veranda is horrible. Just dirt and taped off area.

The location is very close to Surfers and the apartment was clean and tidy. Fully self contained and perfect. Lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy an afternoon, overlooking the pool and canal.

The only down side, the shower screen in the bathroom was broken and fell out on the 2 occasion of trying to shower. And the sliding door to the patio was also in need of maintenance as it didn't slide and needed to be pulled or pushed open.

Good location, easy to find, big rooms, value for money

We found the instructions on how to get through the locked gate to our room were confusing.. we misinterpreted how to get to the lock box to obtain our key and fob. I had forgotten to pack my own body wash, shampoo and conditioner. While there was a large bottle of bodywash in the shower box, it was men's fragrance rather then neutral
