This was my second time staying at the Vibe Hotel at the end of May, and it did not disappoint! Excellent quiet location, 10 min walk to the Rundle Mall, restaurants and shops. I love the modern interior of the room, the views over Adelaide, and the beautiful hills. Staff were welcoming and great customer service.

Unfortunately, during our stay, the heater in our room did not work the entire time. Luckily, it wasn't that cold; however, my husband spent an entire day in the room working and had to rug up. We informed reception, and they reset it, but that didn't work. At checkout, we let them know, and apparently, it had something to do with the recent maintenance of the aircons. There was another couple next to us at checkout who also experienced the same issues with the heating.

The room heater was quite inconsistent - I understand the focus on sustainability, but the temperature wasn’t steady and it felt quite cold at times. The toilet in our bathroom also required two flushes every time to clear the paper, which felt counterproductive from a water efficiency perspective. We also requested late checkout for today which was granted for 12pm but we received a knock on the door at 11.45am asking if we had checked out? Additionally, the breakfast service this morning was noticeably slower and not up to the same standard as it was over the weekend.

Great location in Adelaide city. The room was spacious as was the adjoining bathroom. Really good to have floor to ceiling windows. The shower has both rainhead and handheld shower heads with the mixer to turn the shower on located as you enter the shower. Full length mirror plus table and 2 chairs and ottoman at the end of the bed. Very clean and tidy. We had both breakfast and dinner at the Storehouse restaurant on site and all meals were lovely. Friendly staff.

Niche for suitcases could have been a bit wider. While we were there there were issues with the heating in the room (not being able to get the room warm enough) which I understand other guests also experienced. Hopefully this has been fixed. Even with theses 2 comments we would stay here again.

The room was quiet, street noise was minimal, apart from slamming doors i didnt hear any noise inside the hotel. I loved the cleaning service, it didn't seem to matter when I left the room or came back, housekeeping swooped in and refreshed my room. I loved the clean towels, every 2nd day. The staff where approachable and made my stay stress free. the location was an easy walk to the city. awesome little cafe "Tiba" just down the street.

Other guests slamming their doors, wish their was a slow closer on the doors. Other guests on my floor gathering in the hallway and talking at loud volumes.

Although the property was a little bit away from where I have stayed closer to the city before, it was an easy walk along Flinders Street to the main area, and easy to get to the Rundle Street Mall as well. The staff were very welcoming and friendly - the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, perfect for a one night city stay before we headed to McLaren Vale. I hadn't realised breakfast was included, this was very good value for money and a choice of really good hot breakfast options. A lovely surprise, will stay here again, thank you!

Set Breakfast Menu, not allowing choice as we are used to a Buffett Breakfast. Pillows flat and difficult to lie on. We arrived back in our room later in the day on New Years Day and found that none of the used glassware had been changed. When we told the male staff person at reception, he didn’t seem too interested and offered no apology. After some prompting ( which we shouldn’t have to do) he arranged the replacement. We were not very impressed with his attitude or lack of attention to us. Other days during our stay, staff were great.

- Extremely accommodating for early check-in. Brought bags up to our rooms for us. Even kept some things in the fridge and brought them up to the room’s fridge, too. - Very convenient location, 2 blocks from Rundle Mall, most great restaurants, botanical gardens and very close to Fringe’s Garden of Unearthly Delights and Gluttony. - Very reasonable parking price: Roughly $10 for the day, and $25 for day/night, with unlimited entry and exit. By comparison, Hotel Indigo charges $50 per day/night with only one entry/exit permitted per day. - Staff were extremely helpful pointing out local places to see and experience, and also the check-in/check-out process was very efficient and professional.

The room was lovely and modern and clean. Had a coffee pod machine in the room which was great. Small gym but just what you need for a work out. The Thai place across the road served incredible food Von Thai

We had issues with our air conditioning, the front desk had to adjust and control it for us, they did send someone the next day to check the fan. Pool was tiny and realistically only couple people could be in there at a time to have a comfortable swim. When offering the coffee pod machine, it would be nice to have a milk frother or option of warm milk otherwise you can only have an espresso, due to small call milk supplied

We have stayed at the Vibe every month and love the quietness of it. Just a couple blocks out of the CBD

We seem to have a problem each month with the rooms heating system and always have to get staff to over ride the main switch. Very uncomfortable too hit or too cold and the panel in the room doesn’t work. ( This has been the last 4 times and every we have had the same experience)

I’d like to start by expressing my gratitude to the hotel for accommodating my request to postpone check-in by a day due to personal reasons. That level of flexibility is truly appreciated. That being said, the hotel itself is otherwise fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and with no other issues. If the service attitude could be improved, it would have been a flawless stay.

However, my experience at check-in left a very negative impression. The female staff member at the front desk, who I assume is the manager (as she was seated inside working on a computer most of the time and only came out when the male staff couldn’t keep up), had an incredibly rude attitude. She behaved as though I owed her money, and her demeanor was unwelcoming and unprofessional.
