Pete was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. He went out of his way to get different breakfast options for me as I don't eat meat, but I wouldn't have expected this at all. Very kind! The bedroom was cosy and comfortable. We loved the old style, and it's clear Pete has made a real effort to renovate the place. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. We were able to bring our dog, Louie, which was fantastic for us as he's our little companion. It's not easy to find dog friendly accommodation, and Pete happily welcomed him into his home. We would definitely stay here again!

Just a shame we didn't get a chance to use the pool as we were so busy! But the outdoor area is beautiful.

Willow lodge is a charming heritage property with the most welcoming host. Our room was very comfortable and the home cooked breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the lovely outdoor area overlooking the English garden. The host is very friendly and happy to share advice to ensure that guests make the most of their visit to the Scottsdale area.

We love old properties, and this country home has everything one expects from a 150 year old house. Peter, the host, was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful and prepared an exceptional breakfast with something for every taste. The attention to detail throughout the home is outstanding, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The property is close enough to Scottsdale to walk, but sits all on its own surrounded by a lovely garden.

Beautiful old home, comfortable lodgings. Peter is a marvelous host and the breakfast did live up to the excellent reviews. Just wish we didn’t have to leave ridiculously early one day and missed out!

A lovely characterful Tasmanian home. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. Pete was a fantastic host, attentive and generous and we wished we could have stayed longer. The complimentary bottle of wine was most unexpected and very much enjoyed! Aswim in the pool and an outdoor fire in the evening as the sun went down was most relaxing after a long day driving.

Our host was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and his home was full of interesting things that he had collected over the years. A beautiful home.

Everything. Peter is an excellent host and knowledgeable in all areas. The house is old and he made us feel like it was our home while we were there. Special treat seeing a pademelon with a joey outside our bedroom window.

Loved the rustic charm. Owner Pete was a very gracious host and cooked a delicious breakfast. He gave us plenty of tips on places to visit on our travels and also directed us to a local produce stall where we picked up some essentials. Welcoming outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful garden and countryside.

Our host Peter was exceptionally hospitable, friendly, warm and knowledgeable. The breakfasts that he provided were wonderful. We really loved Willow Lodge. It is in a great location and so comfortable. We were sad to leave. Thankyou Peter for an unforgettable stay.

Fantastic breakfast.cereal/nuts/yoghurt. bacon/poached eggs[scrambled if preferred], fresh juice/loads of coffee. no need for further meals today! Ambience of this 140 y.o. property special. great restoration by Peter our very informative ,generous host.
