firstly I booked through booking.com and it was for 2 adults and how many children. I did one adult one child and then there was no rooms for me my next best option was a 2 bedroom unit that was around $600 and I called and spoke to the who was absolutely lovely. I explained I had booked through booking.com the king standard but it didn’t want me to so I wanted to let her know it was me coming and my son was at school camp nearby at camp Coonawarra resort and there is another person and they said they were full booked or they had the two bedrooms and I said we don’t need another bed he can sleep in bed with me I’m used to it as my son is deaf and I would be arriving about 11am and check isn’t until 2pm and I had stuff in my car I couldn’t leave in the car and go walk around Bairnsdale so she noted with her staff as check out was at 10am to please do my room first and she will text me as soon as my room was ready and she did….. the man at the desk was lovely also. I’m not a fan of staying in accommodation from things I have seen and heard and how sometimes sheets are not changed if they look clean and shortcuts and at the end of the day it’s not your bed and it’s bad at least 365 people a year in that bed so I don’t travel hardly ever but if I do…. I have a mattress protector to go over there fresh sheets and then I put on my flat sheets and I bring my own pillows and doona. it was a great work out going up and down the stairs with my arms full but the room was immaculate. the bathroom was very very clean and we had plenty of room not that we needed it and a great selection of tv shows or movies and the bar fridge which had a few things in it that were not 4x more than what is was. It wasn’t going to break your wallet and the same price you would pay at a service station. I’m very thank full for the microwave as I am always cold and sleep with an electric blanket every night and even with pj pants, my doona and my 4 blankets on trop…..

I honestly can’t find any faults….. but if you want something that your unaware of is that the only sound we call can hear is the door we scan to get upstairs it doesn’t matter how slow you are it slams shut even when you don’t let it slam but it may do this to ensure the property is locked at all times so again…… no faults at all

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. The room was a good size and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. Nice big generous towels and the bathroom was very clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Our only regret was we didn’t get to have dinner at the restaurant, we were meeting friends and they had chosen somewhere else, but next time we will be dining in house because the restaurant gets amazing reviews.

The location was excellent. The rooms were large and newly renovated. The carpet was clean and in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable with lovely crisp clean linens. The coffee/tea facilities were good, as was the mini bar if you wanted a drink or snack. The bathroom was great! Lighting was good, shower was large and very clean. The water pressure was excellent.

The only thing I didn’t like was the light coming off the power point/junction box at the tv. I ended up unplugging it as when you were in bed, the light was in your eye. There was other light coming through the door to the room. This happened when the hall lights came on. I put a towel at the bottom on the door to reduce the light. I’d maybe suggest to management that they put some sort of blocking strip around the door to the hallway.

When we travel to Bairnsdale we always stay at the International, very friendly staff, very nice evening meal in their restaurant, lovely big room with a huge bed. This is our 3rd stay here and nothing has changed. The only thing I would add is that the restaurant is only open on weekdays.

Got a knock on the door around 9:30am from the staff checking to see if we were still there, not really necessary if ask me, maybe if it was after 10am and we had not handed our card back in, then fair enough.

The staff were lovely and very helpful and efficient. The room was great- it was modern, clean and the bed was very comfy. The location was good- very close to the main shopping and eating precinct. We walked down for dinner, only five mins. Although it is positioned on the main road into town, the rooms were quiet. It was perfect for an over night stay. Thank you!

We thought that breakfast was included in our booking and we were disappointed to realise it wasn't.

The staff were friendly especially the lady who had drive back and let me into the room as I locked myself out Had a couple of friends with me who were a bit older as we were attending a friend's funeral I especially liked how the manager and staff made sure they were OK and catered for as they were my main concern Was a good stay would definately stay there again

The shower over the bath was a bit small for us bigger lads kept knocking stuff in to the bath tub

Exceptionally clean - food lovely - grilled salmon delicious - staff so lovely and helpful especially lady on duty when arrived - offered to drive us to collect electric car that was charging and lady on breakfast such a delight - kudos to cook - omelette lovely too Beds really comfortable - bathroom cleanest have sen - even a bath

Only tesler charger so bud had to charge elsewhere - will ask to be further from road next time - tiny bit noisey No pet option in a day and age where very common

Our one night stay went well... the room was lovely & clean & our bed was super comfortable... there is a moderately stocked mini bar - handy if you need a star hit or refreshing drink... We were offered breakfast at an additional cost, due to an early morning departure we declined... Parking on site was free & safe.

No complaints.

Great shower. Good sized bathroom. Comfortable bed. Nice and bright. Good lighting. While we didn’t use it, having a guest laundry is good.

We had the window open at times. There was a lot of noise from vintage car enthusiasts starting their cars up and idling for ages each morning of our stay. Minor issue I guess.

Loved how clean it was ! It was spotless ! Also it was very up to date in styling and interiors.The bed was so comfortable and cosy. I liked that it had a microwave and coffee making facilities however no teaspoons supplied .Parking and location were great too .
