The room was excellent value for money. It was beautiful, very clean and in a great location. Would definitely stay here again.

The heated blankets were not fitted correctly and the power cords were left under all the sheets creating hard lumps on the mattress. I was able to pull out the sheets and pull the power cords out, but the cords shouldn't be like that in the first place. Communication with reception was okay. It was not fantastic - it is not service with a smile. But also not super terrible. Just difficult to communicate with and never at the reception desk. If this aspect were improved, then this place would be exceptional.

Great location with a comfortable clean room.

Was a bid difficult to find the entrance after dark. Did not know reception closed at 8pm. I arrived just after 8 and didn't see any oppen doors. No one called or advised me that door would be closed. Was a bit of a hussle finding the entrance, having to call the hotel and waiting in my car for someone to come back and open the hotel/reception to check me in.

The staff really make this property even more special. The property itself is beautiful and so well located within the cbd. Parking was easy and the room absolutely spotless. We stayed here to attend a funeral and the reception staff were so lovely and even gave us a late checkout at 12 noon which we were very grateful for having travelled 7 hours to get there.

Beautiful old building, room was lovely and comfortable, easy after hours access and undercover secure parking, close to restaurants and shopping, and train station. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Shower kept going cold or hot. The spa bath could have been cleaner. Didn’t have a view, but booked late and it was the last room available

I like the room set up with the split level with a queen bed with its own tv and bathroom and on the other level the 2 single beds with their own tv and bathroom. It was the perfect set up for us. The beds were very comfy and with electric blankets and the rooms were very clean.

I can’t say there was anything I didn’t like. I guess I would have loved maybe an electric jug and a choice of tea bag’s, so I could have had a nighttime herbal tea and a morning cuppa.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Quality Inn Heritage. The receptionist was very helpful, she allowed us to park when we arrived earlier than check-in time. The room was ready which was excellent. The hotel is very clean, tidy and comfortable. The location is excellent for bars and shopping. Perfect secure parking too!

The Quality Inn on Lydiard is an older hotel that hasn't had a major renovation in a while. So, the room was a bit dated in nature. BUT, it was large, clean, comfortable, with excellent helpful staff and located in a really central, convenient location. We'd happily stay there again. Special kudos to the receptionist at our arrival. We were early for check-in and while the room was not ready yet, the receptionist gave us room keys early so that we could move our car into the hotel parking lot. My wife had broken her wrist the day before and was having surgery in Ballarat the next day. So, just being able to park the car somewhere safe and not have to move it frequently to avoid parking fines, was greatly appreciated. The receptionist called us as soon as the room was ready for us to move in. The cleaning staff were also really friendly and accommodating in terms of getting the room cleaned in order for it to be ready for the return of my wife from her surgery. We found all of the staff at the hotel to be excellent. The Lane Cafe a couple of doors down from the hotel served very nice coffee and had nice pastries as well. Would happily stay at the hotel again if we visit Ballarat.

From an aesthetic perspective, the room wasn't all that spectacular, BUT that didn't matter since the key aspects of the room (size, comfort of bed, good bathroom, nice TV) made our stay an all-round positive one.

The room is gorgeous, and the building itself is lovely. Very comfortable and easy to get around town. Great location.

Not sure if the spa was broken but it was definitely more forceful than expected. We actually shut it off because it was very loud and getting water everywhere, even though we changed the water level to try and make it work. it had one setting and it was violent. We opted for a bath instead, which was good, but we did get the room just for the spa.

The staff were great, everything was clean, and it was an excellent location. Very quiet spot, and great access to restaurants and the art gallery. Excellent place to stay in Ballarat.

The internet access is patchy at best - had trouble connecting the entire time and when it was connected, it was very slow.

Really friendly staff that managed to organise an earlier check in for me on a busy weekend. All My intersections with staff from Booking the room, to check in were amazing. Bed was comfy and the room was clean.

The price was high (understandably for Spilt Milk Festival) but I think for what I paid and what the room was was not great value for money.
