The location was very close to Sovereign Hill which was perfect for us. There is a back gate access to a walking track which pretty much leads you straight to Sovereign Hill, we walked there with small kids. The holiday park itself has the playground, pool and trampoline pillow which the kids loved. There were also kart hire for a fee which we didn’t use, but it looked fun. Our kids rode their own scooters and there were others riding their bikes within the holiday park and it seemed quite safe and fun for them. The staff are very friendly here. Our cabin’s shampoo and shower gel were running low. When I asked for more, someone came and refilled them very quickly.

Our cabin 31 has a faulty hairdryer - please have it repaired or replaced. The shower head is also leaking very small amounts of water but it should be fixed. It may be helpful for guests to have a pair of scissors as part of the kitchen drawer inventory - it was not there. The basic check-out clean seems to be done properly and the bedsheets and towels are very clean. But the whole cabin could do with a good deep clean, there were water marks on the wall under the window in the main bedroom, and the skirting boards, window sills are very dusty. The floors could do with a mop - our feet got very black walking barefoot. And there is mould in the silicone sealer in the shower.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. Lovely staff, the games room was very fun. Warm, large indoor spa. Great location. Plenty of great amenities in the cabins! Toaster, kettle, plenty of tea, coffee and sugar. Good size fridge, lots of kitchen utensils. Tvs include lots of streaming apps. Hot shower!

Beds could have been more comfortable. Hairdryer did not work.

The kids facilities

There is a tree above the property which makes a loud noise at night in the wind against the cabin. It’s nice that it has trees, but it needs a trim. The staff were nice but not very flexible. For example, we requested an additional 3 hours for late checkout even if we had to pay a fee. This was so we could pop beck in at 12 and feed our 5 yo and let her swim then leave at 1pm (between doing shows at the festival rather than making her stay there all day (we couldn’t leave until 4pm)).They said we’d have to pay for the whole additional night even tho there wasn’t anyone coming in behind us.

The heater was left on for us as we were going to arrive later in the evening, the room was so cosy and had everything we needed. Well planned out room!

Only thing I would be suggesting would be another blind under the roll down ones as I could see directly outside through the curtains as i laid in bed and every time the neighbours turned the outside light on for a smoke our room was lit up, not a huge deal, just a suggestion 🙂

I liked the friendly staff, clean and modern cabin, and facilities for my family to access at the park.

The indoor spa needs some repair work. There are quite a few tiles missing on the inside and one of my children cut their foot on a jagged tile. Staff were able to provide us with bandaids to patch him up (I did need to follow up with our first aid kit though for cleaning and bandaging).

Great place for kids, indoor & outdoor playground, jumping pillow, pool, bike hire, walking distance to Sovereign Hill and quick drive to Ballarat Central & Surrounds. Highly recommend!

Not much to dislike, maybe just that our 2 bedroom cabin could have been a bit better but it was fine.

The Staff at the front desk were so welcoming and helpful, lovely to speak with. As soon as we opened the doors of our Cabin the aircon was on ready and cool for us to arrive, it’s was so lovely and welcoming.

We stayed in a 5 bedroom bunkhouse. It was perfectly clean and comfortable The park offered alot of facilities for all ages. The kids particularly appreciated the swimming pool, jumping pillow and the newly renovated games room.

Everything about our stay was pleasing.

The staff, Sue and her team were amazing when checking in, great personalities, Nothing was too hard and it was nice to see their big smiles. The cabin was quaint, and the bed was super comfy. The free sausage sizzle and entertainment just added that X factor to our stay. Thanks guys 🙏
