Extremely generous sized and very clean rooms with large comfy beds, plenty of space for luggage without it being in the way; the layout of the room was perfect! Was very impressed by the fact there was a sink to fill up the jug and wash the crockery (most places do not have this and it makes it difficult to wash the dishes!) The bathroom was a “dream” with twin basins, a huge walk-in shower and the toilet off to the side for added privacy; the towels provided were nice and soft and the toiletries lovely. The staff were fabulous - we had the need to add an extra guest and it was not a problem. They were also very attentive to detail when making up our room with bins being emptied, linen replaced and going “above and beyond” to make the room look like it did when we first arrived … so nice to come back to. As we had planned our visit around “Winter Wonderlights” at Sovereign Hill, the location was perfect as it is opposite the venue and within easy walking distance. We did note they had accessible suites for those that need them too, something that isn’t always available. It really was a great experience staying there and we highly recommend it.

The only downside (if you could call it that) was that, due to the rain … which is beyond their control … it was unpleasant going up and down the uncovered stairs to access our room as it made the handles wet and slippery.

The location of Ballarat Suits was conveniently close to Sovereign Hill, which was the main purpose of our stay. I received a phone call enquiring about my check-in ETA, and then was given a code to a lock box where the room keycard was located, making for an easy transition. The room was clean, inviting and spacious enough to, fit 2 beds, a nice sized TV, a table and enough vacant space so my Family didn't have to dance around each other to make way. The bathroom was also of ample size.

I would have loved a bistro or at least a breakfast area, however to be quite fair i did not really enquire about this prior so i'm not going to take points off.

We stayed in a Superior King. The room was larger than at other motels we'd stayed at in Ballarat. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The kitchenette with microwave and kettle was good with plates, bowls, mugs and cutlery. The bathroom seemed brand new and the 2 basins were really convenient. The lighting was excellent - as well as the usual standard lamps around the room and on the bedside tables, there were enough LED ceiling lights to light the room. Being around the corner from Sovereign Hill was very convenient for us and the Golden Point hotel for dinner was a good choice.

The room wasn't very bright during the day because of a tree against the window.

After a long drive it was a pleasure to stay here. A large room with a sitting area, kitchenette and separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Extra bedding was available for a cold night, and the split system heated the room very well. There were a variety of recent movies available on the TV which were very welcome for a relaxing night in. Various food options close by. Thank you to the reception who changed our room to the ground floor so we could park and unload in close proximity. Despite on a main road our room (no 4) was very quiet and we had a great night's sleep.

We had an accessible room. the room was so spacious, but also had couch and table and chairs. it also had more kitchen facilities than I expected (microwave, toaster). the accessible bathroom was perfect - enough rails, and space. and the fact that the sink was within the shower area rather than separate was great and gave more space around th toilet. staff were very friendly

crockery and glasses were all mismatched . a couple more plates - dinner size and glasses would have been good

Great room; quiet; spa was excellent; bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for short or longer stays. have booked again for this coming Friday and need to do some business in Ballarat on Saturday

While booking on the internet found it hard as couldn't differntiate from the photos and descriptions what the difference between some of the rooms was e.g. difference between a Deluxe King Spa room and a Superior one. Difficult to get a park but feel attributable it was probably peak time with school holidays on.

Great Accessible bathroom was perfect light movable furniture was good for creating better access in room 10 minutes from hospital. car park outside room Perfect elevated bed feet as there should be in all accessible accommodation, but often don’t find for hoist move~ ability

Haha couldn’t find the disabled bathroom and was worried about the bathroom that we did see then opened quite a few doors and found it and it was perfect , As an accessible room, utilising a hoist was slightly more difficult because of the thick carpet they had on the floor but needed just a bit more sweat from carer.

I was really impressed with this motel. It is very clean, huge room, big bathroom, comfy bed, kitchenette and modern (fresh white paint, clean new carpet). They let me have early checkin which was amazing. The service station next door has a lot of good food, healthy options too. Conveniently located near Soverign Hill. Highly recommend.

The only improvement I have is that because I was travelling alone, I would have liked to have an interal lock chain for the door and a peep-hole to see who was at the door.

Fabulous motel. Friendly reception staff. Always nice to get a friendly greeting on arrival. Quiet, clean, spacious room. Huge bathroom. The black out curtains were excellent. Wifi & TV reception strong. Parking outside the door. Location is great especially if you want to go to Sovereign Hill. Recommend the Red Lion up the road for dinner. Overall, terrific experience!

Surprised to find there was no freezer compartment in the fridge.

The room was perfect, the lounge area was well laid out and practical. the desk was just the right size whith a loam and wireless charger built in. The bedroom wasn't big but perfectly usable and a really comfortable bed. the bathroom was also very well laid out maximising space, The room was really clean and everything was perfectly in its place. nothing was spared in making the guests feel comfortable. One of the Best I've stayed at in a very long time. Thank you
