The room was very spacious with a kitchenette, table and chairs along with a very comfortable couch. it was nice to have fresh milk offered on arrival for cuppers, a bonus. The bathroom was very clean although outdated and in need of some repair or upgrade. The shower was hot and had good pressure. I was surprised to find that the fridge was not turned on. only found out that the thermostat was turned right down when I returned later in the night and my drinks were still warm. worked well when on. lol. good value for money. Great to have some food shops close by.

I always have trouble with pillow height, they are generally too high. one way to fix that, bring my own pillow. Bathroom was old, but not unusual for older motels, everything worked and was clean.

ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AS THE DAY WAS HOT WE PUT THE AIR CON ON AND IT COOLED THE ROOM DOWN NICELY VERY TIDY AND THE COUCH WAS NICE TO RELAX IN TOO ..OH AND I DID LOVE THE BOTTLE OF REAL MILK WE GOT AT THE RECEPTION .. WHICH A LOT OF MOTELS DONT DO .. AND I THINK ITS A GREAT LITTLE TOUCH ..ALSO VERY QUIET EVEN THOUGH A MAIN ROAD OUT THE FRONT IT IS SET BACK FAR ENOUGH THAT YOU DONT HEAR THE TRAFFIC MUCH AT ALL

WITHOUT A CAR A LITTLE BIT AWAY FROM EVERYTHING BUTT ! ON THE UPSIDE THERE IS A GREAT LITTLE SHOPPING CENTRE WITH FISH AND CHIPS . INDIAN RETAURANT AND BOTTLE SHOP AND A GREAT LITTLE BAKERY FOR BREAKFAST -ALL RIGHT NXT DOOR

The room was very clean with all of the requirements for our stay of 2 njghts & the bed also was very comfortable . The bathroom was spacious with good water pressure . The hot water supply came quickly & didn't waste water to get hot water for a shower or use the basin. Reception gentleman was very pleasant & welcoming. A very pleasant motel & service

Controls on the electric blanket were stiff - just beded some lubrication. Minor problem only.

Although seemed older type of accommodation, room was very clean, good size, bathroom compact and workable, towels soft with fluffiness, bed comfortable, pillows also. Frig with freezer, tho small had good temperature in frig and freezer. Small shopping centre very close with choice of takeaways plus bakery from morning to mid afternoon. Warren was helpful at check in and had turned on heater to warm room prior to our arrival. Would stay there again.

Television did miss a few free to air channels.

Excellent check in after a long drive. Very pleasant owners who are clearly ready to please. The hosts were kind enough to pre warm my room on a cold and rainy day. I was very impressed with the service. Crisp sheets and pleasant window furnishings were appreciated. Local (next door) pizza, fish and chips and..... a bottle shop. Perfect!! 👍

There was nothing to complain about. Given the age of the facility and the incredible value, there was nothing that I was disappointed with.

Friendly and helpful owner, nice to have human contact rather than a 'keybox'. Recommendation for the Ballarat golf club for dinner was excellent, the food was exceptional and very reasonably priced. Modern and picturesque surroundings looking out onto the golf course.

Everything in the motel was quite OK, especially considering the relatively low price we paid.

When I arrived I wasn't expecting anything flash. But I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, well appointed, clean, nothing was broken, and the bed was comfy as! I also arrived on a near 40 degree day and the lovely owners had been in and turned the air-con on before my arrival so I walked into a cool and refreshing room after my travel. Without a doubt one of the better hotels I've stayed at, and is now my go to motel if I ever stay in Ballarat again. Thankyou!

Friendly and welcoming staff, rooms were clean, bed comfortable, shower great.

No hand towel supplied. The shower was not enclosed, so splash from the shower went onto the floor outside the shower recess, and towards the toilet which was located directly opposite. An extra powerpoint or two would have been handy for things like plugging in CPAP machine and phone charger.

The Ambassador and their team exceeded our expectations. Although the building itself is older it is well kept and looks great. The interior is lovely and clean and very well presented. We were able to sign into our streaming services on the tv, which was great! The Ambassador will definitely be our go to for future visits to Ballarat.

We stayed here last week with our family and had a great experience. The location is convenient, close to everything we needed. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the heating worked perfectly—especially appreciated during the chilly nights! Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay. Would happily recommend to others
