The facilities. Shower was instantly hot and everything was just right. It even had a washing machine and dryer in the 2br apartment. The fastest Internet I've experienced in Australian hotel, ever. It's 500mbs transfers download and 400mbs upload. This is 10x faster than my home internet! This is practically unheard of in any top hotels even in the USA. The only faster internet that I've experienced was 1gbs in Colorado, but this Quest Hotel is the second fastest I've experienced, in hotels that I've stayed and it really helped to deliver my work. All this in the country town of Ballarat!

I liked how new the property was and the location was convenient to the train station and walking distance to an Aldi as we didn’t have a car. Staff were helpful with our room move.

There’s no staff manning after 9pm. If you have a balcony on the street side all you can hear is the buses parked alongside the main road so unfortunately it’s not a nice noise to sit out on your balcony too (they’re there all day, you probably could request to be on the other side of the property for less noise on your balcony). When we first checked into our studio room - the shower leaked terribly bad and since we were there for a while we realised it would be a problem, luckily they were able to move us and got an upgrade of a 1 bed apartment which we honestly needed the space being there for 4 nights so we very much appreciated that. It’s a shame they don’t have a pool or a bar etc because it’s a spacious property!

The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was convenient in the pay garage beneath. The bed and mattress was very comfortable.

A small pod coffee machine in the room would have been welcome. Only a couple of sachets of instant and one small container of milk in the refrigerator. Would like choice of a couple of softer, lower pillows. The key card appeared to auto disable at 10:am the next morning whilst I was transferring luggage and my semi disabled wife to our car. ? Luckily a cleaner had left a door ajar so I could return for the last piece of luggage. No extended check out time; even though I'd asked for it the night before.

Property inviting, bed comfortable. Good to open the windows but NoFlyScreen, 1 mosquito. Nice quiet. Set up fairly well..fairly new property.

Bathroom tap was loose. Could be an issue for people visiting if not addressed. Refrigerator leaked, due to probably needing defrosting. When my husband wiped water coming from fridge he was not happy see dirt on the floor under chair he sat on..he saw that,when wiping water from fridge which went on floor. Other than these things which can be sorted, all was comfortable. This is not complaining, just advising staff, as all can be sorted.Thank you, lovely staff.

This property was absolutely amazing in everything aspect for our purpose. The convenience of having the station there was great to easily get to for our volunteer workplace and the apartment was so lovely to walk into it felt like a home. Bed was incredibly comfy and shower was really nice too!

The couch in our apartment wasn’t the greatest. It wasn’t very comfortable and when we went to sit on them the bottom cushions kept slipping.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Was clean and well furnished. The gym was great and well equipped. Was enough room for family of 5. The staff were friendly & location was great with only a short drive sovereign hill, the wildlife park, CBD and Botanical gardens. Would definitely stay again.

The bed wasn’t the comfiest. It was on the harder side but only staying the 1 night I didn’t bother us to much.

Staff were very kind, got a little gift in the room upon arrival as well. Very clean and plenty of parking available in the immediate vicinity. Only a few minutes walk to the main street in town.

There was a few little things - the aircon is positioned immediately in front of the bed, no matter how I tried to adjust the louvers I copped a decent breeze even when on low, so had to turn it off. I’m a very light sleeper so these would only apply to other light sleepers. When I tried to have the aircon on the first night, the green light from the aircon wall control illuminated the bed which kept me up. Just finally, it is near the train station, of which trains do pass through all hours of the night and seem to have to toot their horn, as well as the rail crossing bells dinging.

Our trip to Ballarat was beyond our expectations, mainly because of Quest. It was a clean, newly built property and worth getting a 1 bedroom instead of a studio. It is very close to the station (obviously) but also within walking distance of the central area where you can visit local restaurants/cafes and museums. My hubby and I love to be able to cook during our trip so we can save money on food and we truly love having complete kitchen facilities in the room.

We tried to work out to turn on the oven but we couldn't figure it out. I'm sure the staff would be able to help out with that straight away, but we were not bothered too much about it.

No Breakfast options available, the location to town was great

No breakfast available had to go into Town which was ok. I expected a better coffee options and some water in the fridge complimentary seeing the up market price, also the $15.00 charges for the option of parking in a secure location was unexpected considering the the nightly charge

located right near the centre of Ballarat. A two minute walk to the train station and a slightly longer walk to the centre of the city, Very quiet with double glazing and the apartment stayed pleasantly warm despite cool nights.

Happy with every aspect of our stay. Reception staff very cheerful and courteous. Secure parking under the building with spacious bays. Everything looking new, Spacious balcony to our unit overlooking a well maintained garden
