The location was good as it was close to town, just a short drive or you could probably walk. It was on a service road next to a main road and it was very quiet. There was not a sound at night, and the hotel rooms go quite far back in the property There were nice plants around the entrance to the room. The room was clean and spacious, with a couch and dining area. Parking was easy, outside the room. The double bed had an electric blanket but not the single bed and my son felt cold at night in the single bed, being Winter. The shower was good. We really liked the hotel.

Very clean, spotless actually. Weird situation where they don't leave the plates and cutlery in the room, they give you what you ask for at reception. Not a great plan as you don't always know in advance. Spa bath was wonderful, beds were comfortable and reception person very friendly. Location is okay, a bit out of town, but it's very quiet. Immaculately presented gardens and grounds, HUGE carparks. Rooms dated but not worn - very good condition. Warm inside the room on a bitterly cold night. Definitely value for money when compared with surrounding accommodation at ridiculous prices.

Just leave the crockery and cutlery in the room.

The location is perfect , close to everything The room was large and very clean Bathroom had a spa ( not that I used it ) Even has a complimentary laundry for guests Would definitely stay agin . Owners very friendly

The bed was a little uncomfortable cos of the electric blanket could feel the coils To be honest the beds don’t need electric blankets the heater in the room works really well

Large room, great spa, walking distance to cafe & supermarket. Good quiet location & easy to drive from to where I wanted to go.

The motel is great value for money & there were only little things to dislike that were easily overcome. The crockery had to be collected from reception making it hard to juggle with keys & purse already in hand. The ‘kitchen’ had very little bench space & only sink was in bathroom & the bed was a little firm for me. Wi fi was very patchy while I was there.

The area was tranquil which meant relaxation was no problem after a busy day. The motel was close to IGA which meant if you needed to get a last-minute item, you could just pop out get it, and be back in 15 mins. The cafe near IGA which opens at 06:30 was perfect for a short morning walk and a takeaway before going out for the day. The staff were wonderful, always a smile on their faces and a great willingness to assist.

There was nothing to not like, it was appropriate for what I needed it for.

Room was very clean and I really liked the extra vanity table, it was a perfect spot to sit and do some drawing or writing. The front building was also very cute. Couldn't hear much from other guests either, and the spa bath was lovely. The guy managing the front desk was also amazing, he knew the area well and was able to give us some suggestions on where to get dinner.

There were a few obvious repairs in the bathroom for previous damage, but I think that's not something to blame the establishment for, I also wish there had been a jug or something to put water in so it could be placed in the fridge to cool down.

Talk about bang for you buck!! this place isn't the ritz, so no room service - but seriously, i normally live by the anthem of "you get what you pay for"... well i feel that this place gave me much better value for my money. A clean place to sleep, friendly staff and a nice hot shower. - what more could you want? anyone critisizing this place is either a tight arse or a moaning myrtle...

Very large rooms, exceptionally clean and good facilities. Staff are always friendly and helpful, offering plates/bowls and cutlery if needed. They also delivered a wine glass to my room upon request. I have stayed here several times and I'm always happy with the cleanliness and space to spread out. A great IGA is located a short walk away.

It's a little dated, but everything is functional.

The Victoriana was so incredibly quiet. I was sceptical as it's just off the main road but it was awesome. Big room, comfy bed, a much appreciated electric blanket. The owner was friendly and polite. He could not do enough for us. Definitely will be back

I loved it here but would appreciate a brighter light in the bathroom. Kettle and drinking bottles hard to fill from a low set tap. But really it was a minor issue

The property is of an 80’s style, but presents like brand new. It has been so well maintained and is the cleanest motel I have stayed in for a while. The spa bath was exceptional. We also appreciated the friendly info from reception and little touches like an electric blanket. The price was also from the 80’s, which was a great bonus
