We were expecting a box with some beds and a shower as we’ve had before for other stays at other places but we were pleasantly surprised with the “apartment” we stayed in (Room 18) we each had a room to sleep in and the kitchen was spacious, the lounge space was a great place to relax and watch a movie between basketball games for the tournament we were there for.

The only down sides were the door to the balcony we weren’t allowed to access kept opening on its own so we had to wedge it closed to keep the cold breeze out, and the way the shower head is positioned meant you were almost hugging the glass shower screen while trying to shower. Otherwise the room was clean and exactly what we needed while we were in town.

Staff were very friendly considering I didn't read 2 emails that explained how to get into our room. I had booked a 2 bedroom unit but the second bedroom hadn't been made up. The lady I spoke to was very apologetic and made it up while we went into Ballarat for lunch. Nice big TV and the bathroom was OK. Good for our overnight stay.

This small unit with a second bedroom had enough beds to sleep 6 people, but was only really big enough for a queen size bed in the main room. The other bed was too much along with a full size dinning room table and chairs. A smaller table and a 2 seater couch would have been more practical. The tiny cupboard with the tea and coffee, toaster and kettle was far too small to make tea or coffee and I had trouble putting the kettle under the tap in the bathroom. The hall table under the mirror was a tad rickety as well. 6 people in this room would have been claustrophobic.

Affordable, clean and exactly what we needed for the night. The location was easy to find, ample parking and very friendly staff. The place itself has a lovely atmosphere and garden.

Location isn't ideal for walking into town/public transport, best for those with a car. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable so didn't have the best sleep when compared to other stays.

The room was clean and tidy with great amenities including cups and a microwave. The PIN code entry made check-in and check-out super easy. It was a great dog-friendly option, and overall a convenient and comfortable place to stay before heading off to Albury the next morning.

The dog run out the back could use a bit of a refresh, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

We stayed there for one night only on the way from South Australia. It's located very close to the Western Highway, which was convenient in our case. Even though we were so close to it, the noise wasn't an issue. The motel is clean, everything in our room looked pretty new.. Good value for money.

It was a bit tricky to get there in the darkness.The GPS led us wrong and we went past the motel,- make sure you take the right exit of the highway, and continue along the parallel service road.

The staff are extremely friendly and approachable. The room was clean and everything one needs for a two night stay was provided. Good value for money. Dogs are accepted so it was ideal for us as we always travel with our Westie.

Furniture needs a refurbishment. One chair was wobbly, table very unstable, there was no possibility of sitting up in bed as the bed would move away from the wall. But just minor problems, overshadowed by the advantage of being able to travel with our dog.

Very well designed room with exceptional Hotel standard linen and very comfy bed. Close to Highway but very quiet and suited our needs well as travelled with our two small dogs. Have stayed in many pet friendly places and were impressed with the standard here given some places give less than the best due to being pet friendly - Woodmans Hill Motel were great.

Comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent communication throughout booking. Quick drive into town to get anything we needed. Self check-in. We were passing through and needed a place to stay for the night. Woodmans Hill was exactly what were were looking for.

Very good location easy to find it was 24/7 access which means no keys no stress room layout was good bed very comfortable

Parking spaces are abit tight and hard to see the lines and also had to drive under the overpass of building without knowing the height acess into carparl area

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place has a quaint but a homey vibe. Nice and clean and the beds were surprisingly comfy. Totally suited our needs for a place to get ready for, and sleep, after our time at Questival.

The only thing that would have been nice would have been a sink in the 'kitchen area', but for an overnight stay, it didn't really matter.
