Everything was great however, we booked a balcony room and were swapped to tiny house 1 which was amazing but we are elderly and having to climb a ladder then crawl into bed due to lack of head space was extremely difficult for us. The oven didn't work, that was disappointing. The air conditioning broke down around midnight when it was 5 degrees outside! That was fixed the next day. The tiny houses would suit young people but not the elderly. They should have warned us before swapping us. Everything else was great though.

The finishings and atmosphere created. Walking the park at night, I thought of some additions to the grave yard in particular that would make it an even more interesting experience. The included breakfast was delicious and staff lovely. The staff were polite and helpful, providing me with information that I needed. The theme park staff were happy to pose and considerate of student activity impact on other paying guests. The cleaning staff were kind enough to move the cart half a meter so I could take a photo before I left.

The Room was just like in the description on your web site. We had booked a Spa room only to find the hot water didn't work. The manager took our call and immediately action on it. Hot water was restored 1 hour later. We were able to explore the entire " Castle" and had a great time. I will recommend Kryal Castle to my friends, especially families with children.

The Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, not so much for the actual available food but for the lack of proper crockery and places to sit. The majority of sitting space was used by staff, leaving us only outside to sit which was quite cold.

We had such a great time staying at Kryal Castle! The room was clean, comfy, and had that cool medieval vibe that made it feel like a real castle. Our kid was beyond excited to be “sleeping in a castle”—definitely a big highlight. Even after the main attractions closed, there was still so much to do. We hung out at the playground, got lost (in a good way) in the maze, played some games at the arcade, and even took a nighttime walk around the castle—it was all awesome. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Just a super fun and unique place to stay. Totally recommend it for families!

Some of the facilities are showing their age and could use a bit of an update. The breakfast was very basic—just cold continental options—so having a few hot dishes would’ve been nice. There was also a bit of a wait for seating and food in the morning.

Breakfast was simple, but nice to have it included in the stay. It was also really nice to be able to access Kryal Castle for the duration of our stay. We loved the beautiful view surrounding the home. It was so lovely to wake up to the view of horses galloping right outside our windows. It was also a fun experience staying inside a tiny home.

The cleanliness of the floor unfortunately needed more cleaning, Internet connection was poor - could not connect and the bathroom needed more hooks to hang up wet towels (there was only 1 hook, and we had 4 occupancy).

Bed super comfortable, great rooms, extremely clean, air con and lights on on my arrival as arrived after business hours. I stay every wednesday night for work purposes and am booked in right up till October thus far. I never see any staff as Castle is closed when I arrive but nice to deal with via phone and they leave SMS's.

Continental breakfast is included but unfortunately only from 8 am inside the castle dining area and I leave for work by 8 am so can never get this, should definitely have breakfast packs left inside the rooms (both the suites and cabins). Also, no hairdryer in the cabin which is strange. Also need some form of roofing over the cabin decks for shelter in inclement weather. If not for the breakfast, dryer and roof it would be a 10/10 for me.

What a magical experience it was to stay inside a castle and enjoy all the activities within walking distance of your room. You have to remember that it is a castle so will look like a castle in your room so don’t expect all the smooth dull walls and fittings that you find in most accommodation. You want your room to look like a castle room (of course you will have modern facilities, TV, AC and fridge). Just a few steps from your door your continental breakfast is waiting and it meets all your needs. Then as a guest you have the freedom to wonder around inside the castle walls before and after day visitors. We even got to know Sir Gregory as he came to our rescue to fix a couple of minor issues during our 3 night stay. My grandchildren really felt like Princesses and a Prince as they got a chance to parade behind the Knights on their majestic horses in the main arena. The activities during the day were enough to keep 4 children and 4 adults entertained and the added Murder Mystery Dinner was a bonus. I highly recommend a stay for anyone looking for something different or even as a base for activities in and around Ballarat.

Maybe the shower head could be a little higher for people 6 foot or more.

Great for families with kids (i’d say < 12 years old would be ideal). Really enjoyed walking the grounds after hours. A lot to do for kids at all times. Friendly staff. Pretty views of the town from the bathroom. Air con was on for our arrival on a hot day. Breakfast was nice although staff struggled to keep up with demand.

Rooms are not well soundproofed - could hear neighbouring rooms in the bathroom and coughing during the night. Our room (17) had a window in the door which had no curtain and a light directly outside so the whole room was lit with light during the night. Mini fridge very noisey. I didn’t realise it was a shower over spa bath meaning it was a large step into a slippery bath which was tricky for some of our party with mobility challenges.

The check-in process was a bit hectic. Our room wasn't ready at 2pm, and we were told we’d receive a text when it was. We spent some time exploring the grounds, but still hadn't received a message. We then went into town to explore, and still no text. When we returned at 4pm, our room was ready, but we were never notified. The breakfast provided was good, but it was also a bit chaotic. There weren't enough tables and chairs, so many people were left standing around trying to find a spot.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast was free and had a good variety of breakfast pastries, mini muffins, cereal, toast with assorted spreads as well as juice, tea and coffee, the option to purchase a hot breakfast of bacon and eggs was affordable and well made, with plenty to explore around the park even after hours it made for an excellent experience that I look forward to returning for

The bunk beds for the kids squeak when they move during the night
