Great location. Lovely rooms.

A few coffee cups in the cupboard were not clean. Shower shelf was loose so we could not sit items on it. The toilet brush holder & bin was on top of the toilet seat when we arrived. One hanging bed lamp was missing. Just on a side note, i was the only one, out of 5 people in our 2 rooms, that could reach the coffee cups etc. They were too high for the older people to access without having to pull a chair over & semi get onto the bench and reach in (ps, they didn’t do that, i got them out for them, lol).

What a great place located at everything, especially the pub, a few metres away. I never met a staff member face to face when checking in. However, upon arrival, Elysia from Newington Apartment sent a courtesy SMS with instructions on how to check into the apartment. It was easy to follow. The room is clean and spacious. I love the bed, how comfortable it is, and the quality use of the bedding. This property is close to Sovereign Hill, so we booked this apartment. This place has a decent kitchenette if you want to cook a meal, a small fridge with a dishwasher, and a nice bathroom with a rainwater shower head. It has good water pressure and is very spacious.

All minor things: With the bathroom, it would be nice if there was bench space that you could pull out if needed. Finding space to hang your clothes or where to place them was a bit difficult. Maybe more hooks can be added, too. The couch had cigarette holes, and the dining table was damaged on the surface. The fridge door was slightly damaged as well, too.

The room was spacious and modern and functional. The bed was comfortable.

It was a bit noisy from the Kids play area at the restaurant but not for too long .... The bathroom sink was very high - I am short - it felt awkward. The cups etc in the kitchenette were also in high cupboards that I could only reach on tiptoe.

Good size for two adults and two children, overall is new and clean. We stayed for two nights and rubbish bin was emptied and beds remade in between. I slept well in here, (I am not easy to sleep well in many hotels) the bed was comfortable. Very good value for money and close to all the main places and restaurants.

The water tab in kitchen is loose but not affected us much.

We requested early check in and they were very accommodating to this. We loved that we were able to check in and out without meeting face to face with reception, made for a really seamless process. Beds were very comfortable as well! We would definitely recommend people stay here.

For what we were looking for, I can't fault anything. We had a very comfortable sleep here.

Great location and wonderful facilities with ease of access.

Our designated parking bay was taken by someone else so we moved in to the next one. This caused issue as we had taken someone else’s park, which caused major issues and embarrassment for us at a wedding! It actually ruined our evening. I would recommend instead of numbered bays - the car parks are just labelled ‘reserved for Newington Apartments’.

Sink tap was very loose on the base/bench There weren’t any microwave settings visible/had worn off Glass shelf in the shower was tilted down so you couldn’t put anything on it as it just fell off

Great location, contact was very helpful and came back to me quickly. Spacious room and clean.

The beds had skylights above them, odd if a guest wanted to sleep in. Minor issue though. Carpet was quite stained, but hard to avoid as ut was a lighter colour.

The double Queen room we booked offered plenty of space for us with our 2 children. Kitchen facilities were great. Central location with short drive to Ballarat Central and Sovereign Hill. Modern facilities. Clean room and very helpful host. Pub across from the apartments for meals is also convenient.

The only recommendation I could make would be some warmer bedding for the winter months. The temperature was down to 2 degrees before sunrise on the night we stayed and the bedding really wasn’t equipped for a warm sleep in those temperatures. We looked for additional blankets in the cupboards but there weren’t any.

A beautiful, freshly refurbished studio. I spent one night there as I was visiting my friends. It looks nice. The bathroom is large and lux. The bed is comfy and the TV is opposite the bed. There is a seating area and even a dining table. In terms of desigh - 5 stars.

The property is at the back of a pub. There is a little terrace at the pub and a playground for children. There was noise until 11:30pm. The noise began at about 8am when children got up and began to play in the playground again. I think if you want a restful weekend, this is not the place but if you have an event in the city and you intend to come in late, and if you have children who will wake up early, then a great place to stay.
