My daughter and I stayed here Tuesday night because I had to be in Geelong for a hospital appointment. The lady at the desk were amazing, even brought me a jug of milk for all my coffees and teas. Our room had a spa bath and king bed with smart TV. It was the best bed as I am 64 yo and had a good sleep after my hosp. appt. The room was spacious, the bathroom was awesome and so beautiful. WE WILL VISIT AGAIN.
The swimming pool had no rail to assist me to get in and out :'( so I couldn't get in the pool *sad* I DO HOPE THEY WILL HAVE A DOUBLE RAIL IN THE POOL NEXT TIME I VISIT.

Easy to locate the room, was a beautiful set up, bathroom was amazing and so clean. Beds could be a little more comfortable but that okay was a good night's rest anyway. Loved the tap in access to the facility was amazing and very tech savvy. Cute little set up downstairs. Didn't see much of the staff as we arrived after hours but I'm sure they would have been lovely!!!
Parking was a little hard to navigate and tight was a little too close to other cars for my liking but had to work with the space y'all had I guess. Location was hard to get to the sign out the front needs the tree trimmed around it as was hard to see from the highway.

Rooms were spacious and well maintained. After a not so good beginning the staff were helpful and friendly.
We arrived a little earlier than we planned with 3/4 hour before 2pm. We noticed staff sitting outside talking (they were wearing Best Western uniform). When we went to the front door it was locked. There is no doubt they saw us but didn’t speak or acknowledge us so we drove away. I realise the time says 2pm but we had just driven 41/2 hours to get there.

Firstly, the gentlemen that met us at reception at 7:30pm was so very friendly and welcoming. He went ahead and turned on the lights to our room and got the heater on while we parked the car. He returned and carried our bags to the room for us. Upon entering the room we were very pleasantly surprised by the layout, cleanliness, features and general feel. The host then pointed out where everything was located. We stayed two nights and the room was even serviced in between. We were also given complimentary late check out on our final morning. I would highly recommend this location and will certainly stay here again next time we are in Geelong.
We liked everything about the this motel, we wish we could have stayed and relaxed longer.

I had been in Tasmania and traveled on the day service from Devonport. I did not want to drive home to far NE Victoria (~350km) in the dark so i booked a motel. Turned out to be a good choice as the ferry was late docking. I'd emailed the hotel warning I might be late and they arranged an after hours key pickup. When I arrived just before reception closed they went and got my keycard out of the late pickup box for me. a little thing but nice
Personally I hate mimsy little cups for tea and coffee. I like a mug of tea in the morning before I set off. Also I'd have liked some bigger glasses. Because it was Monday and not much was open I ended up having dinner delivered. I had a couple of cans of beer left over from my trip that I cooled in the room fridge. It would have been nice to have some slightly bigger glasses to drink out of

The host, Carl, is an absolute legend. He was making sure each guest was well catered for even offering to help carry mu bags upstairs and back down when I checked out. He was a happy soul, said good morning with a big smile, and checked on my Uber on my behalf. I had to check out a day early. I was given credit to return anytime I wanted for a stay. This was the best offer ever. I would highly recommend this hotel for any travellers looking for first-class service

Our first stay was the night before we departed on the Spirit of Tasmania and the second night was when we returned from Tasmania of the Spirit of Tasmania. On our second night we had a late check-in due to the ferry arriving after the usual business hours of hotels. We had two rooms booked, and during check-in the room for 3 people was upgraded to a larger room with two bedrooms, which was very much appreciated. Extremely helpful front desk staff (I never caught the gentleman's name) who helped us get our luggage up the stairs. Very close to the ferry terminal (5 minutes).
We were in Geelong for less than 15 hours, so we didn't have time to find anything that we didn't like.

We didn’t have breakfast — didn’t know it was available. Dimmable down lights as bed lamps are an unusual and very neat feature. The room was dark at night when lights were off. So many other motel rooms have glowing or flashing pilot lights on smoke detectors and other appliances which are annoying.
Mini cakes of soap and shampoo work better than liquid soap in the shower. A few biscuits would have been lovely.

Very convenient location if you’re travelling on Spirit of Tasmania. Walking distance to city centre and Esplanade. Wonderful staff, very clean, well maintained and super comfortable bed. Although on the main road, noise from traffic wasn’t an issue at all - didn’t hear it.
Nothing that the hotel could do about it, but if there are guests that talk loudly in the hallway as they walk through or close the door with force, you may hear it.

Very comfortable bed, did not hear any traffic from the main roads as the windows had double glazing. We stayed 2 nights and our room was serviced during the stay. Very clean and plenty of room.
It was hard to get into the shower, which was over the spa bath. Mugs would be good rather than tea cups
