The location was great for shopping, and people in the small restaurants and shoppings around served very well others. The woman owner of the hotel was very kind, and helped me in every doubt or orientation I needed. The room was clean, and with new installations. The room was clean, and with new installations. Oh, and very helpfull: I just loved the shower, with a very good flow of water (good for relaxing) and answering very well to the temperature choices.

The heater could "answers" more quickly to the temperature command, though at the end it worked well. Also, even having some places nearby, due to my work pace, it would be better if I have had breakfast at the hotel.

I loved everything about my stay here. It was super convenient to catch the tram or even just walking into CBD. The staff were so kind, they even helped me get a sim ejector for my phone to use my Australian SIM card, provided extra blankets and a space heater. The heat worked just fine but my body wasn’t adjusting fast enough to the change in weather and I needed to stay warm while the heat kick started again which never took too long. Patrick was so kind and generous to make sure I was warm enough by calling my room later in the evening to make sure the heater was warming up my room. I highly recommend this place and will book here again if I ever make it back to Melbourne! The nicest staff and great facility. I was a solo traveler so the space was perfect for me. Yes it’s a bit small but it exceeded my expectations and it honestly was what I needed. Quiet area as well, was able to get restful sleep as a light sleeper. 5/5!

The beds were really comfortable, the proximity to the markets was great. Enjoyed the area as quiet compared to the central cbd. It was close to the trams. We walked everywhere to discover the many laneways and found catching ubers to the Melbourne outer suburbs easier in this area. The staff were very helpful. The Comics lounge isn't far and many great restaurants close by. Smiles thai restaurant was our favourite

I had a great 5-night stay at this hotel. The room was consistently clean, with housekeeping maintaining high standards throughout. The location was excellent and very convenient. A special mention to the older Asian receptionist—while she may come across as fierce, she made a real effort to remember guests and their details, which was impressive. She was also very helpful in accommodating our room change request. Overall, highly recommended!

What breakfast? We didn't sign up for any! But there are plenty of nearby places for eating, and the famous Melbourne Free Tram stops a convenient 5 or so minutes away. Our room, set up for people with mobility issues was fine. All the staff that we met were very pleasant, and we were impressed with the way that someone was usually on hand to have the front door open for us to come and go as we approached it.

A second chair in the room would have been nice. We had a nice large room that would accommodate a second chair very easily. The bathroom was a large "wet room", so having a shower usually resulted in a fair amount of water being splashed around. An elevated place for clothing while showering would have been appreciated.

Location is perfect for me. Easy walk to tram 57 or 58. Not that far to top of Elizabeth Street by Queen Victoria Market. It means easy to get around but out of the noisy center. The quiet location meant every night I had a peaceful sleep. Nice staff. Clean. Safe accommodation. Only access is to building and your floor is with your access card. Kare Cafe nearby has good coffee.

Would like room to be serviced a bit earlier in the day. Couple of times it was at 4pm when we getting back in to chill out for a bit for dinner. Not a big deal tho.

Best beds ever slept in, so comfy didn't want to wake up. Quiet area so night was easy to fall asleep. Trash was always taken out, beds made well and toiletries refilled daily. Great experience.

Heating/cooling system was bit fiddly, not sure if it was turned on or not and there weren't instructions. Shower had top head and movable hand-held head that both sprayed water, couldn't adjust it so only the hand-held head shot water but we didn't mind and could be bothered to ask about it getting fixed.

absolutely astounding property- super clean in all aspects! (the staff even popped in when we were out one day and cleared out a couple of boxes with trash etc inside). made it so easy for me to conduct my entire trip, allowed baggage drop off and storage- before and after my stay- which made my life so much easier. vending machine downstairs in case you need some pick me up snacks and super cheerful staff who were always happy to help me to the best of their abilities!!! I would absolutely- and will absolutely- be booking again, such great value for money also, nice compact and neat accomodation a stone’s throw from everything. I didn’t catch a single Uber while in Melbourne thanks to this. thank you staff and owners!

Great location and really helpful, friendly and accommodating staff. We dropped our bags off early and they made a special effort to clean our room ahead of the normal check in time and then contacted us to let us know when we could move in, which was really helpful. Also look after bags on Sunday before our flight. Quiet location but very close to Victoria Market and Melbourne CBD, tram stop very close by.

A very negative point for everything good is that the air conditioning filters are not clean and when you turn on the air the room fills with dust and you can easily check it because everything is covered with that dust. It is also very bad for your health. PLEASE, YOU MUST CLEAN OR CHANGE THE AIR CONDITIONING FILTERS
