Location was great for the city. We walked to Elizabeth keys for coffee.

I arrived and put the cases on the trolley. I struggled getting the trolley through door on my own as hubby parked the car. Bit disappointed in this as it left a bad taste in my mouth particularly since there were valets on the driveway. I felt that because we didn't want valet parking, we were left to do things ourselves. This was the only disappointment. Fibreglass grill was nice service amazing, my beefcheeks sadly I've had better on a pub menu. Hubbys steak was good but not award winning ilike the restaurant claimed!

Bed was comfortable. Staff was amazing .Reception and management, restaurant staff were all amazing very good customer service . Dinner was absolutely delicious .Room was very clean and beautiful. Valet staff very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and can not wait to return to stay another night or 2 to enjoy more wonderful service we received and enjoy the comforts of all the hotel facilities . 😊

Great location, very relaxing, friendly and helpful staff. It is a very comfortable hotel to stay in in the center of Perth within walking distance to everything.

It was all good full stop the concert hall right next door is currently closed for renovations if that it was open it is only a 1 mins walk from your door. It would probably be a good idea if the hotel had its bar on one of that's higher floors so that the patrons could enjoy the view of the Swan River. I think you get this if you are club member or you stay in a Suite, but I know I would have spent more time having social drinks and eating in the restaurant if they had better views. That being said, I stayed at the Duxton many times so it obviously has a lot in its favour.

Comfortable, clean and helpful staff Great location

Breakfast buffet most foods were very nice but the hot breakfast wasn't hot. Not liking the fact to have a flat white etc you have to pay extra! The room service has a QR CODE to be able to order didn't work properly had to ring and order from the restaurant

Beautiful 'Old style' hotel but with the freshness of just being built. Everything was fresh and immaculately clean and the place exuded charm and sophistication. Loved staying here, the staff are simply amazing, and the evening bar and breakfast bar were very very good. Be warned the breakfast is expensive but first quality and the service was first class. Location is fantastic with a 5-minute walk to the river or the mall and the pick-up and drop off area whilst busy runs really well. We stayed whilst attending the NRL State of Origin game and were made to feel VERY welcome. This will be our go to hotel in Perth from now on.

Everything! From being greeted at the front desk by Asta, who was warm, friendly, polite and professional. And Andrea in concierge who was very charming where nothing was too much trouble. To the rest of the staff in the restaurant, bar, room attendants etc! The staff are the Duxton Hotels biggest assets. It was, as always a pleasure to see the very charismatic and gracious Mr Riaz Mahmoot. Who clearly runs a caring tight ship! The hotel is affordable, spotless and plentiful of everything you could possibly need. The Duxton welcomes you like family…… Thank you we will definitely return when we’re next in Perth.

What is there not to like about this wonderful Hotel?

We have stayed here before and hotel is excellent, this time our room was on 12th floor, not a view over the river, but lovely view over the city. Not sure if some rooms have been modernized, but ours seemed much more modern than the rooms we have previously stayed in, comfy bed, with a lovely modern bathroom

When we checked in we asked for breakfast on the Sunday morning, so they gave us a voucher for a $35.00 Buffet breakfast, when we arrived for breakfast on the Sunday morning, were told that the voucher did not apply on Saturdays and Sundays, and breakfast was $48.00. Also found that some of the cooked items were not overly hot, and when I went to get some bacon, it was all gone, when I enquired, they said they were cooking some more, but my plate was already with other items

Jnr Club Room (with a river view) was clean and comfortable; room amenities were good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The included Buffett breakfast was OK; always go for the freshly cooked eggs

Upon check-in, the room rate as shown by the hotel was more that what was on Booking.com (apprx $48extra per night). Apparently, the hotel had a new booking system installed, and there were a few glitches, in that the Booking.com rate hadn't come across to the new system. It was all sorted after about 10mins (after providing them with screenshots from my booking.com profile). Make sure you double check what you had booked via Booking.com, and it matches the hotel

We were upgraded to a club room with river views

We were given conflicting advice from reception staff regarding what we were entitled to being in a club room. Initially we were told we had access to the club lounge for canapes and drinks and the room upgrade included full buffet breakfast. However visiting the club lounge, we were denied access; we returned to reception to be told the club room and breakfast were not included. As you can imagine this was frustrating, however we could not fault the facilities. The upgrade to the Club King room was a wonderful gesture by the Duxton staff.
